First class week spent at this site. Perfect location for Scarborough and other day trips. Site is immaculate and the Tow Bar at the entrance serves excellent home cooked food! Will definitely return. Travelled with four young kids and had a fantastic time.

Just returned from our second visit to this site and could recommend it to anyone the staff very friendly and helpful the toilets are very clean and tidy and there is loads of bins on the site. There is a pub on site were they serve food and a large beer garden with play area there is a smaller park near toilet block, the food menu is pretty basic.
There is a couple of pubs in nearby Gristhorpe the Bull very good nice friendly pub with excellent menu, and the ox inn at lebberston both good although we preffered the bull. Both within 5 minuets from site.
Will be going to this site again

This clean and well kept site was very easy to find and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Location is fantastic with Scarborough/Filey/Whitby/Bridlington all within easy reach.
Although mainly catering for holiday homes, the touring caravan area was spacious and well laid out, with plenty of space between pitches and nice open views.
Toilet and shower facilities were clean and adequate, if probably a little dated.
The on-site 'Tow Bar Inn' is clearly very popular with visitors and locals alike and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. It provides a broad menu of excellent quality food and a good choice of beers at realistic prices. Our only gripe was that they cancelled the advertised Sunday evening quiz without warning to hold a 'race night'. Sadly we left the pub at that point feeling a bit let down.
Site fees a little pricey I would say, especially over the bank holiday, but that wouldn't stop us visiting again.

Browns, Now we are talking absolute class, a wonderful site, extremely well kept, clean, neat and tidy, cannot fault it in anyway. Bus stop into Scarborough just outside the site, pub near the entrance, quite location, what more can I say?

Just returned from this site and what a fab site it is. The whole site is clean and well kept. Everything was spotless. My only complaint would be an area in the Tow Bar inn for families who have a dog. I had to sit in the smokers area and being a non smoker wasn't ideal so ended up taking our food back to the caravan. Wouldn't put us off returning though.

Lovely site. Met by owners who made us welcome and very helpful. The toilet block we used was very clean well decorated with nice hot shower water. Push button but if you gave it a hard push the water stayed on for a considerable time. A little shop on site selling the basics with a min I market just over the road on the Haven site. Towbar Inn very busy over the Easter period so hard to get seats at times but after the rush no problems. Entertainment was provided with good pub food reasonably priced. 3 miles each way to Filey and Scarborough with regular bus services. Great if you don't want to drive. Dog walking area and children's play playground. Will be happy to return to this site.

Nice touring area at the back of a well kept static caravan park. As with previous reviews the reception was very friendly. If you mention the video from their website you get a voucher for a pint at the bar. It had been very wet before our arrival and the hard standing pitches had a few puddles but coped well. The grass was sodden throughout the site and there were some very big wet areas around the statics but obviously no impact on the touring area. There was 2 small toilet blocks, the better being a short walk from the touring area with toilet, sink and very warm powerful shower in individual rooms. The tow bar public house at the entrance to the site was very friendly and normal pub prices. During March we took advantage of reduced price which was from £12 per night which was fantastic value to try this site. Would we return. Absolutely.

We booked last minute for a 1 night stay and we found the site easy to find and reception staff pleasent and helpful. The site is well maintained, toilet and shower blocks are modern and kept very clean. Our children loved playing in the playground. Due to bad weather we decided to eat at the Tow bar rather than have a bbq, the food was nice and great value for money. The site is a short walk away from the beach and is a good Base for exploring Bridlington, flamborough, Filey and scarborough. The only very slight negative I can say is that the caravan pitchs' are quite close together, I prefer a pitch with more space around it, but this is a personal preference and certainly would not stop me from booking another short stay.

What a fantastic site.
Stayed for 11 nights in August and never found it too busy.
The toilets and showers were better than most Five star hotels, cleaned at least three times a day.
A very nice little dog walking area.
The tourer area was very clean and the grass etc kept in lovely condition.
The owners were very helpful and friendly.
From the site to the fantastic Cayton Bay Beach is about 15 minutes but about 35 minutes back as a little steep, but well worth the visit. Our two dogs loved it especially when quieter at late evening.
The Towbar pub at entrance to the site is well worth a visit and we found them to be very friendly and good value for money, but remember it is a holiday destination so does get busy at certain times, but good food and large beer garden.
Only about an hours walk to Scarborough and 75mins to Filey both worth a visit and a relaxing walk, does get busy by car so worth it.
Hopefully we will go back next year as we enjoyed it so much.
This is a little gem that deserves all the brilliant reviews it gets.
Great place, great staff (a special big up to the lady that cleans in the afternoons, fantastic job) - hope to see you again.
