This is an excellent little site, with a very friendly and helpful owner. William bends over backwards to make you welcome and is building a great site. There is a nice pub locally which does good food and we ate there every night of our weekend stay.

The local countryside is very pretty and nice for walks, the villagers were all very friendly. About 5 minutes from Stonehenge itself and 15 minutes from the beautiful city of Salisbury.

We will be back soon as this site is a gem in a lovely village community.

We've just returned from a weekend camping at Stonehenge campsite. It is basic, but it has everything you need. William the owner is a real friendly chap and very helpful. Very reasonable prices.

Great location, just off the A303(1/4 mile), but don't let this put you off as we didn't hear any road noise from it at all.

Would I go back? YES.

Would I recommend? YES

What a fantastic little site. Getting to the site is very easy whether you use a sat nav or map it's very straightforward. The entrance is well sign posted and access is easy.

The site is quite new but very well laid out with hardstanding and grass. It's all flat with water and electric hook up to all pitches. Only 400 metres from the main A303 and yet no road noise at all.

The pitches are very spacious and easy to get onto even with large twin axle vans. This is a very quiet site with good washing up / chemical disposal and recycling facilities all close to hand.

We could not have been made more. Welcome by the owners and will definitely return here. It's has easy access to stonehenge / salisbury and the surrounding countryside is very picturesque.

I would give this site a top rating and would recommend to others

This is a place with lots of potential really is friendly especially over the Summer Solstice weekend. Only prob is The boot Inn does not do food on a Monday shame. And you really need a car to get supplies. apart from that Go And support William.

Plenty of room for tents. Open pit fire in the what I called the communal bongo drumming place. Needs more showers and other amenities.

What a wonderful, friendly campsite. Stayed 3 nights over the summer solstice and had an amazing time. William the owner could not do enough for us. Facilities were good, pitch lovely and fantastic company. Will be back again next year. Had a great party at the fire pit on site and local pubs within easy walking distance.

My wife and I stayed at this super CL site for 3 very relaxing nights in early June. Our 2 dogs loved the walks, we loved the site, clean hot showers and toilets.

The picnic tables on the adjoining grass areas were great for alfresco dining and relaxing at with a cold beer or glass of wine. William was very helpful and in return we helped him round up some of his wayward sheep in the village.

Only comment would be the rough area in the pots wash area. Totally brilliant. Will go again!

It’s a great little site in a lovely part of our English country side, it is a very peaceful site with basic facilities which are being improved all the time. The new landscaping, hedges and trees look fab and you can see in just a short time it will become a very private and tranquil place to stay.

William the owner is very helpful and accommodating and certainly goes out of his way to help you and make your stay very enjoyable.

Yes the facilities are basic at the moment but these are being updated all the time, the main thing is they are all clean and tidy, what more could you want?

I certainly recommend this site to all and look forward to visiting the site again in two weeks time.

Stayed here for two nights on the rally field which we had to ourselves so had a peaceful stay.

The field is flat and grassy with electric hookups along one side and a water tap. The washing up area was clean and covered. The shower / toilet block had one shower and toilet per sex, which was fine when we were there, but could get busy when the site has more people about.

William the owner is helpful and is doing a lot of landscaping and planting to enhance the site.

Would stay there again if in the area.

We enjoyed a lovely sunny 2 night weekend here in April in a motorhome. The site is new with shrubs planted to give future privacy.

The wc / sh is clean. It is ideal for dogs and owners as there are footpaths leading directly from it.

The Boot Inn welcomes dogs inside and also has a garden for sunny days, with a friendly landlady. Another footpath takes you to The Bell, serving all day good value meals, but with a dog, you have to eat outside in the garden.

We intend to return, which is recommendation in itself.

We stayed in this CL for 4 nights and were very pleased with the site.

We pull a 26' twin axle and there was plenty of room for manoeuvre. The entrance to the site is inviting with a lovely drive down to the site. The site has 5 hardstanding pitches each with it's little grassed area and a picnic table. The owner has put plenty of work into the site in order to make it feel and look lovely. There are new shrubs planted, with a very good shower and toilet block. The showers are piping hot and for a CL are of a good standard. William will go out of his way to help you and you must try his Free range eggs.(Delicious).

The site is also a 15 minute dog walk across the footpaths/fields to the Boot Inn where dogs are accepted, the food is amazing, log fires blazing and the real ale is fantastic.

All in all a fabulous little site which is well worth paying that little bit extra than your average CL.
