FANTASTIC! Wonderful views! Amazing Wildlife! Peace and quiet! We spent a week at Faichemard and had the most relaxing time. The wildlife sights were amazing, Deer, Ducks (wild of course) Buzzards, Woodpeckers, Sparrow Hawks and many more were a spectacle to behold. The site is clean, spacious and very well organized. Helpful, friendly people who own the site with lots of knowledge of the area and if you talk nicely to Mr Grant, he has been known, apparently to give a rendition on his bagpipes! (A real feel of Scotland!) As Cheekymonkey states, not to be confused with the site next door which appears to lack a great deal of natural beauty. The views are unbelievable! It is a little bit of heaven. We shall certainly be returning later in the year. Plenty of things to do. Hundreds of walks, easy run to Skye (Fantastic views along the way), close to Fort Augustus, Loch Ness, Fort William and the Mallaig Steam Train.

This site is the balls of sites! The location was wonderful, the pitches were very well set out and the picnic table was a mint idea.
The bridge over the pond was still under construction but the scenery around was cool.

Facilities are limited but the toilet and shower block were more than adequate. With hot water free on tap (Pretty good for washing stuff).

The only drawback is that midgies are dumb. Spent most of the time scraping them off my face along with 3 bottles of midgie repellent (That doesn't work). Try not to use light or breathe and you'll be fine!

The pub is a mile away and has live bands and the best steak I've ever had in my life. The fish looked good as well.

Well recommended by me and all my mates that have been there.

Not be confused with Faichem Park, which is right next door. Believe me, they are two separate sites! Drive past the first entrances (to Faichem Park) and continue on 100 yards to enter this site. We found it very quiet at the beginning of September. Small mixture of camper vans and tents. We stopped for three days and found it a great stopping-off point on the way to Skye. Each pitch had a picnic table as well. Very basic toilet and washing facilities but clean and not busy. Remember your 20p's for the shower! Fantastic views and pretty secluded pitches on shelves cut flat into the hill side. All in all, a very pleasant spot that I'd recommend to any one (just take your own entertainment, as the pub me be a little too much of a walk for some, although not me!"
