We stayed here for nearly 2 weeks in August this year for my 50th. As mentioned in previous reviews the site is well spaced out and scenic. The owner even loaned us out an enormous tv aerial which enabled us to get reception, though I think this drew some unapproving glances from some other campers walking past. We walked up Ben Tee, did the Loch Lochy Munroes, did the rib boat trip from Fort Augustus, (awesome), and generally had a good time while we were there. What let the site down for me wasn't the midges, it was the ticks. We have a white dog so thankfully they show up on him, but in simply walking him with me to the bins and back he managed to pick up 3 of the little biters, and I also ended up with one on my midriff. He must have ended up with more than 20 on him over the 2 weeks we were there. Frontlining your pet is a must! (Other treatments are available!). I felt sorry for the people there with dark dogs as they wouldn't be as easily noticed, and even sorrier for those in tents. We definitely plan to go back, but probably a shorter stay on our way 'up North'.

Lovely campsite. Good well mown flat pitches. Lots of midges, take your face net or be eaten alive. Toilets, showers and washing facilities very good.
Pub up the road very good for food and decent beer. The distance to the pub is probably too much of a walk and the return to the campsite is steep climb.

An amazing find. Boooked in unexpectedy to be greeted with a very warm, friendly welcome. Site is fabulous with none of the usual rows of vans - in fact a bit difficult to see anyone else on site the pitches are so secluded and private. No children allowed but given the layout and terrain of the site I think this is a very wise move. Toliets/showers etc all up to a very high standard. Highly recommended and am sure I will be returning in the not too distant future.

Visited this site in mid-July and had a great time. We selected it originally because of the kind of site (farm), the location and the favourable reviews on here. This is another favourable review.
Everything about it was lovely (apart from the midges). The site is easy to find and when you arrive everything is well maintained and well organised. The picnic tables are a really nice touch. The showers and toilets were always clean and the water was always hot. There is no noise apart from the wildlife and no light pollution. The midges were a minor irritant, but once the breeze got up a bit (and I do mean a bit not gale force) they vanished. The pitches are generous in size and parking is by the pitch. The owners were very helpful and everything went smoothly. There are electric hookups to some pitches but we don't have one.
We saw several deer round the site - nearly bumped in to one the night we arrived (somebody needs to teach them the green cross code!) and there was a variety of different birds (we are not experts we don't know what they were - little ones and big ones basically).
Being in a valley the site is well protected from wind, apparently we had some one night, but I never noticed it.
Locally, the hotel in the village sells a range of Scotch whisky and some pretty average beer and lager. The food is supposed to be very good, but we didn't eat there. The shop at the Well of the Seven Heads does a stonking breakfast roll and a decent cup of tea - eat in or take away. Fort Augustus is quite close, Fort William a bit further but is larger. Lots to do in the local area; Nevis Range Gondola - not cheap but a good day out, the steam train to Mallaig via Glenfinnan (and viaduct) was too pricey for us, but you can do that trip a lot cheaper by Scotrail from Fort William.
We seldom do a repeat visit to a campsite (only twice, ever in umpteen years), but this may well make our third 'repeater' we still haven't seen and done everything we wanted to do and it is such a great site why wouldn't we want to go back?

This is a unique site set in a beautiful vista. You are asked for your unit size so the perfect pitch can be offered. Each pitch is individual and you feel as if you have the site, and the views to yourself. Facilities excellent and even when full I had no need to queue. Extras include midge dispelling machines, laundry facilities and excellent free Wi - fi at a very reasonable cost of £17 a night with electric. Not forgetting excellent walks from the site and all pitches have their own picnic bench. Mix of tents, camper vans and caravans. Adults only.

I cannot pronounce the name but this site speaks for itself, You drive up to the house and get a friendly welcome and all is explained as regard facilities and your site. The site is really more like a big garden or a small park with superb views with toilets, showers and all the other necessaries sited in the ideal place. I found this site to be a peaceful and relaxing place. I had intended to revisit on my return journey but time ran away from me but it is now the place to stay whenever I am travelling in and around Glengarry

What a peaceful, stunning site only a few miles from Fort Augustus. We saw few midges so May is a good time to visit while it is still cool.
New loos and showers with constant hot water, very clean and rubbish cleared often. Friendly owners on site. Site well planned with dog walks into the forest/loch and each plot well spaced out with PEACE and varied birds and wildlife on the doorstep.
The best site we have stayed on even Bunroy which took some beating.

One of our first camping trips. A lovely site and very quiet this early in the year. We were given a pitch near the dog walk which was secluded, but I didn't see any 'bad' pitches.
The campsite road leads through to a forest track where we could walk our dog off the lead. There was also access to some moorland but signs about livestock so we avoided that area.

We booked this site on the day and what a great find it was! We stayed for 2 nights on 6th and 7th August, towards the end of our 2 week trip around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. How we wished we had time to stay longer!
There were plenty of nice walks where we could let our dog off the lead to roam around the beautiful, remote surroundings.
We were in a Motorhome and given a choice of pitch No. 12 or 2 and decided on pitch number 12 as it was more private, although we noticed pitch number 2 did have full sun all day and evening! The pitch was hardstanding and overlooked a lovely big duck pond with lilies growing in it and a bridge part way across. (I guess the pond could be one of the reasons this site doesn't allow children and is Adult Only?). I have to say, it was nice to sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place without any children around.
The toilet and shower block we used was spotless and spacious with plenty of piping hot water and detachable shower heads! We noticed more toilet and shower blocks in the camping area in the wooded areas.
This was the cheapest site we stayed on and even had free wifi. The site even has fridge and freezer facilities for campers and I noticed a sign for laundry, although never went in to explore. The customer service was second to none and we felt that it was great value for money.
Will we go back? You bet we will and next time we will make sure it's for longer! Go on, give it a try - I'm sure you'll love it if its peace and quiet you're looking for!

A lovely site run by friendly and helpful owners. It is set on a wooded hillside with each pitch quite private with a picnic table and bench. The facilities were immaculate, modern, clean and warm. Though pitches were spread out it was only a minutes walk to the shower block. There are walks directly from the site, brilliant for walking the dog. It is a short drive to Fort Augustus where we had a great day watching the boats, walking along the canal and stocking up on provisions.
This site was brilliant, views were wonderful, facilities immaculate and owners so helpful.
