A very nice and quiet site. New toilet block with laundry. Very clean. No shop but Taunton not far away.
Plenty of space and site owner is genuinely interested in making his clients stay as pleasant as possible.
Been here several times and well recommended.

This site was lovely. Split into upper and lower fields and we were placed on the lower field as we booked late and it was running into the Bank Holiday. Ideal. It was peaceful, laid back and very spacious. The toilet blocks were clean, a bit of grass on floor at times but a mop and bucket left to clean up if you felt the need! There were two small play areas for children, freezers for ice packs, clean washing-up area, dog walk and plenty of peace and quiet! Just turned up and pitched and the owner wandered around the following morning with her grand-daughter to collect what was owed (which was very reasonable.) There was a pub a short walk down a country lane which served wonderful food and a garage which sold papers, milk etc. Close by. Close to main roads to access all tourist areas. We stayed five nights and had a wonderful time. Only down side was that there was a farm which had hunting dogs close by and they could bark at times but you did get used to it as it was only a distant noise!

Just stayed here for 5 nights over the Easter period, good site close to the M5 motorway, as others have said turn up and pitch, the lady arrives between 9 & 10am to collect the fees, Adults £4.50 Children £1.50 EHU £1.50 and awnings £1. The site has two large fields and around 10 hard standings, the lower field is huge, with small play areas in each. The only toilet block is at the top of the 1st field, its along walk up hill if sited at the lower field. The fields are on a hill and not many of the pitches are level. Nice walks around the farm through fields and woodlands, and lots of rabbits etc. Running around.

Stayed 2 nights on the way down to Cornwall, excellent site, small play area nice clean toilets and showers. No need to book just drive on and pick your spot ,lady collects the money next morning. The gate is normally locked at 11p.m but we had a late arrival (12p.m) and they unlocked the gate for us. Nice pub 5 mins walk good food and beer. It was only £10.50p inc elec

Just off the M5 - Ashe Farm is cheap and cheerful for an overnight stop as you venture further into the South West or a good base for Somerset discovery. We stayed for a night - you just simply drive on and pay the next day - no booking in here - and you have a choice of a smaller field just inside the gates or a HUGE field at the lower part of the farm.Facilities were nice and clean and the park was tidy and litter free. Seems there are a few regular/statics on site - and one tent seemed to have been there for a long time as someone had mown the grass around it!There is a pub nearby but NO shop on site - though Taunton is a short hop away by road with a good shopping area - follow the car park signs and you can park behind the high street. Supermarkets are outside the town - but remember your road numbers and a few landmarks else you will find yourself heading for the M5 or driving in circles. We have visited a few times now - Enjoy your stay.
