Easy too book and get confirmation back. Easy too find too.
Quite large site.
No one too check in with. Did ring up and was let in. Lady calls in am for your fees.
Find a place and park!
Toilets fine all well equipped and accessible.
2 pubs. 1 only open few days. Closed sun pm and mon.
Other 2 mile walk. Neither l would recommend. No bus service on sun etc. £25 quoted for taxi.
Great for kids lots of places too play etc. Customer service as only spoke too someone twice both times too pay in am. Polite enough!
Nothing else too do here. So if your in motorhome bring a car or you bikes.
Not good really.

This is one of my favourite sites. With two large grassed areas - the second being more 'natural'. I don't like to be surrounded by caravans when camping and this caters for both tastes. We pitched in the centre, under a tree; the site was not busy and it was very peaceful.
Toilet/shower blocks are immaculate - this year the fittings looked brand new.
There is a coded gate to get in but this is not a problem as the owners are around to assist. Fee is paid in the morning to the owner on her rounds. I believe we paid £12 for two people!
The play area looks good for children up to about 10 and there are large areas of grass for running around safely.
The only downside is the constant low hum from the main roads - but it is not loud, just there.
The Nag's Head pub has been good in the past; this visit the staff were offhand and there was no food.
Taunton, however, is close by with all the usual shops and restaurant chains as well as some independent.

We stayed here for one night, as a stopover to Cornwall. The site is about 10 minutes from Jct 25 of the M5 and is easy to find. You do have to turn right, across a dual carriage way, by the Nags Head but we didn't have any problems and we are an 8 meter motorhome towing a car. We booked a pitch beforehand and was told that a board with our name on would identify our pitch, on arrival just find the board and settle in. To get to the pitches there is a coded barrier and I assume you would need to go to reception for the code but a very nice gentleman let us in. The first field has several hard standing pitches and the rest were grass. The main toilet block is in this field, along with the washing up area. These were all spotlessly clean. Don't expect high shine chrome etc but as long as things are clean what does it matter if things are not ultra modern. Lovely free hot showers with a separate area in the cubicle to get dry. Showers had a shelf and a basket on the wall to put your bottles on (an absolute must in my eyes!) The second field was all grass and they had 2 toilets down there too. This field also housed the small play area which is probably ideal for kids up to the age of 7. Not much for an 11 year old but the tv reception and 4G was good so we didn't have a full night of him moaning :-) We didn't try the nearby pub (Nags Head) but it was only a 10-15 minute walk from the site and I believe it is dog friendly. The owner came round in the morning to collect the fee and at £17 for 2 adults, 1 child and 2 french Bulldogs we thought this to be good value. I would say that if you were stopping longer, you would need to figure out how to fill your unit's tanks with water, there are several water taps dotted around but we wouldn't have been able to get close enough to fill up. There is no designated water fill point or waste water dump point for motorhomes. We would definitely stay here again to break up the journey to Cornwall and would highly recommend it to others.

Stopped here for two nights when visiting Taunton for the marathon. It was handy as being a 10 minute drive from the start.
The site was well kept with a good clean facilities block and nice warm shower. There is walking direct from the site and a couple of pubs within walking distance.
The owner did the rounds in the morning to collect the fees and have a chat. I thought the pricing was about right.
Would have no problems in using the site again.

Stayed here again on our annual pilgrimage back from the West Country. As always, what an excellent place to stay. Toilet facilities are spotless, always very clean. The owners are always accommodating, with nothing too much trouble. £17 for 3 people and a dog for 1 night is great value. Everyone on site is friendly. Walked down to lower field, kids playing, adults having bbq's, and even fire pits were allowed.
Would always revisit.

A really nice friendly site. Nothing too fancy but everything is clean and functional. Very informal, upon arrival you locate your pitch which will be marked with your name on a chalk board, and the following morning the lady will come around to take your money. No chip and pin facility so bring some cash or your cheque book.
Pub within walking distance but not too impressed this time around - seemed a bit short of both booze and food.
If it's peace and quiet you are after, in a very pleasant location, then this is the site for you!

We stayed on this very quiet and clean site for one night.
The pitches were a good size and the facilities were of an extremely good standard, very clean and well maintained.
Access with a motorhome was straight forward, with good access on to the site.
We met and chatted with the lovely owner in the morning.
We would recommend anyone to stay on this site.

Stayed for a Friday night on the way to Cornwall only 5 minutes off j 25 M5. No check in just drive round and find the pitch with your name on it. Toilets clean with lots of hot water. Play area for the kids. Pay up in the morning when the owners come round. Food outlets about 5 minutes away by car. Fantastic, would consider stopping longer but this served a good purpose.

Very nice site - ace disabled showers as we found out as son had broken his foot two days before! Lovely owners - nice Harvester pub in reach by car - the Nags Head pub at the end of the lane was unfortunately shut on Mondays - this was a one night stopover - it's great cos there is also a Sainsburys at J25 off M5 so cheaper fuel as well. Would recommend.
