Previous reviews have summed up this lovely site - views, facilities, location etc.

However, based on our stay I have the following comments:

The run into the site is uphill - mostly tarmac, but as you approach the entrance to the site, the road turns to gravel and there is no sign telling you where to stop to find reception, so we ended up stopping on a gravel hill. We were ok taking off again, but another outfit that came onto site wasn't so lucky - lots of skidding. A suggestion for the owners - perhaps put up a little sign advising new arrivals where to stop (on the tarmac). Also, we found there was insufficient signage for bins/water etc. Whilst I don't like to see lots and lots of signs everywhere, more visible signs would have been helpful.

As has already been said, the owners were very friendly and the facilities are really lovely, with the 'monogrammed' hand towels being a quaint little touch.

There are 2 showers (unisex) with a nice size cubicle, and in the changing area there was a useful shelf, incorporated into which was a hairdryer. There is, however, something I feel could have been better thought out. There was no sink, despite there being enough space for one, so although you could shower and dry your hair, there was nowhere to brush teeth etc - you have to go outside and then into the (separate) loo area to do that. There are no privacy cubicles. Also, I feel the hairdryers would be better placed outside the shower room. If I had to queue for a shower and heard someone inside taking ages to dry their hair, I'd be a bit frustrated - or is it just me?

Don't get me wrong, we loved the site and will go again, but just wanted to offer some suggestions for improvement of an already excellent site.
Management response: Thank you for the feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

Early next year we plan on tarmacking the relevant areas of the road, which will stop any skidding!

The hair dryers were put in at the start of the year, and we have seen our mistake, these will be moved out of this area during our closed months.

Signage of the park we are also currently looking into.

We are constantly aiming to improve our park, and appreciate any feedback.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Best wishes

Hywel and Cathrin

Spent Easter Week at this site. We had a fully serviced pitch. I can honestly say it is one of the best sites we have stayed on. The grounds are maintained to a very high standard. The toilets and showers are spotless, and were inspected regularly. The proprietors are very friendly, and couldn't do enough to help. TV coverage excellent.

Easy to find from the M4, about a mile and a half. I would certainly recommend a visit here.

Spent a few days at this site at the beginning of this month, and what can I say!

This site is far the best site I've stayed at, the site was 100% clean. The showers/toilet block were so clean you could prep food in there. Everything a site needed and more, and best of all there was no noise. The hosts were very polite and helpful and I look forward to returning there again this summer. All dogs on site were brill and so were the fellow campers! I wish all sites were like this one, maybe they should be a role model for other sites. Many thanks for a great break. Joe

I find it difficult to understand how anyone can have any negative reviews on this site its the cleanest I have ever visited so peaceful with fantastic views the owners cant do enough for you there is a cafe 500 yds away on way to village 15 mins walk which has 2 pubs and a coop store.

I have a large motorhome and have found no problems with site access or gravel roads and besides that the owners are continually improving access only just widening entrance I have used this site a number of times and there is always something being done to improve what is already a 5 star site making this one of the few sites you are not afraid to recommend to others.

I wish the owners all the best for the future and would like to thank them for the 5 times I have visited their site.

My wife and I have just concluded a lovely 8 night stay at Llwynifan Farm. This caravan park is run by a Brother and Sister who are very friendly and it was the sister who booked us in and gave us all the information we would need for our stay. One piece of info was a 20 minute stroll to the local pub called the Bridge which is well worth a visit, It produced a good selection of food and served a much needed pint. We choose this caravan park because of the location and having all weather serviced pitches and we were not disappointed, because of the location they have made full use of the views which are great. The toilet block was only a short walk and are kept clean and tidy. With the park being only 5 minutes from the motorway it was so quiet and made for a restful stay. If you can say you don't want to leave or you will revisit a caravan park you have enjoyed we think that says it all!

Just returned from a lovely long weekend at llwynifan farm, campsite and facilities the best we have seen in a long time, showers warm and spotless. The campsite itself has very large pitches with stunning views, the owners are very friendly and helpful cannot wait to return and would recommend it 100 per cent.

Stayed here for two nights - only wish we could have stayed longer. This was our first visit to this site but will definitely not be our last! We were on a serviced pitch, they are huge with large grassed space either side - you're definitely not on top of your neighbour. Facilities are spotless, showers spacious. No expense has been spared on this site, everything is done to the highest standard. The owners are so friendly and eager to do anything they can to help you. The views are magnificent, even on a wet February day! We just cannot find fault with this site.

Lovely well run camp-site with friendly caring owners. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner. Immaculate showers and luxurious toilet block with under floor heating. Views from all pitches and good TV reception. Its possible to walk to supermarket and pub, 10-15 minutes in Llangennech. Millennium coastal park close by in Llanelli where there are large retail parks. Good base for exploring south Wales with pleasant tranquil base,

WOW - loved it. Lovely site, quiet with good facilities. Very clean toilets, showers and dish washing facilities. Thought the small embroidered hand towels were and excellent little touch.

All pitches hardstanding (owner rakes them after you leave). Regular pitches were of a good size but the super pitches were huge. Super pitch had enough room for car, caravan, awning and the picnic table provided, you were then separated from the next pitch by a turfed area.

Big field for dogs to walk and play in.

Information point with lots of information on local attractions, pubs and restaurants. Good pub and restaurant in the village but we didn't try it. Out of town shopping centre 4 miles away.

The owners were very helpful and pleasant. They should be proud to have such a lovely, well kept site.

We have stayed on hundreds of sites, this must be the nicest and cleanest shower and toilet facilities we have come across. They even have individual hand towels. The grounds are also immaculate although more planting of shrubs is going on which will enhance it more. The price is very reasonable at £15. 00pn for standard and £20 for fully serviced. It's only a stones throw from the M4 and within easy reach of Llanelli and many other attractions. The owners will give you a folder of everything going on in the area.
