Used different caravan sites for over forty years and this is the one of the best site we have used. Hywel is a very hard working person and nothing is a problem to him. We have used this site several times and will continue to use it when we are down in South Wales. The information center and the folder you get on arrival is very helpful. The site facilities are first class.

I am sitting in my motorhome writing this review and I don't want to go home! That's how lovely this place is, it's peaceful and beautiful. The facilities are high standard and everything that you need for a relaxing stay. It's a place to recharge your batteries and rest. The village is handy for shops and food if you don't fancy cooking and a local takeaway delivers to the site. Hywel and Catrin are the nicest of people and are always willing to help and advise when ever help is needed. In short this is an excellent site but if you want buzz and activity don't come here, leave this place for the people who want tranquility and quiet and that's the place I want and love.

We stayed ay Llwynifan Farm last week, and found it to be a very nice place.
Very clean facilities, Good showers always open.
Lovely views from the site no matter where you were.
I walked down to the local shops only 10 mins away,
Hywel recommended a dog walk to me and it was very nice
Walking along a river bank.
The site is very well maintained
Would use it again.

Just arrived home from 6 nights. 22/05/16 to 27/05/16
We cannot rate this camp site high enough, the pitches are very spacious with immaculate facilities.
The owners care passionately about their farm. This is one of the best.
As once we park our motorhome we don't move. So we always hire a small car and the owner spent time telling us the best places to visit.

Stayed here for a week in May, got a friendly welcome from Hywel he very helpful in telling us where everything was, nothing too much trouble for him. The information booth is full of leaflets, books, games, DVD''s to borrow. Amazing site with stunning views. Toilets what can I say amazing, spotless and very well looked after, love the little guest towels. Lovely clean park immaculately kept, the pitches are great size and well kept, just a short drive away there are to large shopping retail parks and a short walk to the little village. There is a lovely riverside walk near the site. We loved it and will definitely return. Keep up the passionate work.

Our fourth visit, each year brings minor improvements, difficult as the site is almost perfect. The owners and their family maintain the site to a very high standard. Shower block also contains a modern coin activated washing machine and separate dryer, the showers are maintained to a high standard. You have the choice when booking of a serviced site or standard, sometimes difficult on such a fantastic, popular site for adults. Beaches close by, our favourite being Pembrey. Difficult to find good places to eat, the bridge in the village the most acceptable of the one's on offer, since Amelia's Diner on the edge of Pembrey Airfield turned it's self into a burger and chips venue

Stayed here for 4 nights. What a lovely very clean and tidy site. Cannot fault this site in any way.
We were looking for a campsite near to Many tears dog rescue, and this fitted in perfectly the center is about 15 minutes drive away.
We also had to read the negative review twice as can`t understand were they were coming from.
Don`t be put off by the unisex showers as there is enough privacy and certainly plenty of room to change and shower without feeling hemmed in
Full credit to Hywel and Catrin on a lovely site and making you feel very welcome

Have just got back from 5 nights at this fantastic site, in fact it is so good I went back and reread the one and only negative review, if there is a problem it is certainly not with the site. There is a small industrial site as you approach Llangenech. The village is what it is ie a typical South Wales working village with architecture you will see across the whole area, it, s not chocolate boxy pretty but the site info does not claim this. Can, t speak for the pubs as the recommended one The Bridge did not permit dogs. However can highly recommend the fish and chip shop.
Back to the site. We were on the front row of the top terrace in the centre, I think it was pitch 8. This to my mind is the row to be on for uninterrupted stunning views. This top terrace has the serviced pitches. On our row to get the view you park your caravan nose in as opposed to the normal reversing onto a pitch. This means the power, water and grey waste are at the front of your caravan so you do need to bring lengthyish pipes if you wish to connect, Hywel very kindly lent us an extra long waste pipe. The other thing to bear in mind if you are on this front row is that unless you have a mover a little manhandling is needed but the pitches are very level and easy to push on.
Getting out and about is very easy, half an hour to Mumbles and the beaches of Gower or half an hour the other way to Pembrey and miles of deserted beaches.
No need to go over all the pluses of this site they have been covered in the other reviews. If I were to make one suggestion (not a criticism) it would be to suggest digging out a passing place half way up the single track road that takes you the site from the public road. And on the subject of roads try not to miss the turn into the site as the road becomes single track for some distance ahead.
Would we return, can't wait.

Just returned from a four night stay at this lovely site. Myself, my Husband and our Pug (Mabel) opted for an 'all service' pitch (No 15) which was in an elevated position, overlooking beautiful open countryside and in the far distance, an estuary. All pitches appear to have lovely views, ours also had open fields to the rear of the pitch. We were welcomed by one of the owners, who we found both friendly and helpful. The site is conveniently situated just off the M4 motorway and has nice easy access. During our stay, we took advantage of the chilly but thankfully dry weather and strolled along the local river walk, which is located just a short ten minute walk away from the site. We also visited the Millennium Coastal walkway, along Llanelli beach and stopped to grab a latte at the Discovery Centre. We also visited Sandy Water Park, which is a short car journey away and again a nice venue for a gentle stroll with Mabel, who thoroughly enjoyed it too! There are plenty of things to see and do in this neck of the woods, whatever the weather. Plus, lots of places to visit if you fancy some 'retail therapy'. The shower facilities on site are lovely and kept scrupulously clean. Liquid soap and small monogrammed towels are provided and at time of our visit (late February) the toilets and shower room were kept lovely and warm too. A selection of paperback novels, DVD's, jigsaws etc. , are there for anyone to borrow (at no additional cost) and are located in a small hexagonal shaped 'summer house' at entrance to site - a nice touch we felt. We would have no hesitation in recommending this site and we ourselves will most definitely visit again.
