We have just returned from this immaculate little site and cannot fault it at all. As another reviewer commented, Geoff guided me into place perfectly (Dare I say that I usually leave the reversing to 'Himself' as I'm hopeless at it but Geoff's an expert and made me feel rather proud of myself) We had a fully-serviced pitch which is a little indulgent but makes for an ultra-relaxing stay. The toilet block is scrupulously clean. There is a small Tourist Office (shed) with a map of the area and lots of ideas of places to visit. There's also a book swap shelf and plenty of recent magazines to while away the lazy hours. Whilst the site is perfect we weren't too keen on the surrounding area. This is a personal opinion as we enjoy varied scenery more than attractions (there are many). The beach is beautiful fine sand but the coastline is rather dull. It does make for a good bracing walk with the dog though. Have to agree with the comments on Waldos. Perfect, British seaside treat - good, crispy battered haddock and chips. Yum! Will we go again? Yes, probably the next time Hubby plays golf at Seacroft! (About 13 miles away)

Our first visit after reading about the site here and checking out the reviews. We stayed for three nights (weekend) and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The owners were very helpful with no sign of the 'over helpful' aspects mentioned in one review. Certainly we were guided into the pitch with the best directions I have ever been given. The site was not full but still quite a few pitches taken. Very quiet which is just what we were looking for. Toilet block scrupulously clean and not under pressure although it might be a problem at very busy times. The site itself is obviously well maintained. There is a walk to the sea which is not too far - map and directions in the information office. Sutton on Sea a couple of miles away with fair number of shops and very satisfactory chippy (Waldo's). Several supermarkets in Mablethorpe about 4 miles away (Lidl and Co-op). Coastal bus service from Mablethorpe to Skegness quite frequent. Sutton is a fairly quiet seaside town which fits in with the style of this site. If you are looking for a hectic night life then maybe not for you but if you enjoy the fresh air and relaxing, this is great. We shall certainly be returning often.

What a magnificent part of the world to visit,Cherry Tree is all about taking it oh so easy,no noise, no kids & the most helpful site wardens that anyone could wish to meet. My wife & I felt a little left out mind, I think that only us didn't have a dog with us.
Everything that should be spotless was, and the pitches & surrounding areas were a credit to the wardens, a lot of time & effort has been taken into keeping this site as pristine as it is.

Just visited this very pleasant site which is a short walk to the sea. Spotlessly clean and well run by owners. Every sink has a j cloth! All stone pitched, grass not being an option. The owner, always busy, keeps a very watchful eye on comings and goings at all times. Will I revisit - perhaps.

A fantastic site. Run by very friendly wardens, Geoff and Margaret, who welcome you, help you pitch and make your stay very welcome. Its small but immaculately kept, there are only two showers in each the gents and ladies but they are spotless and have copious amounts of hot water. The pitches are hard standing and require rock pegs, but there is plenty of room between outfits. Its as it says on the website only a short distance from the beach, during this really hot weekend Skegness was buzzing but the beach here was deserted. FANTASTIC. Its adults only, which is great. If we wish to take our grandkids somewhere it won't be here. This is our haven for future weekends. I'm hesitating pressing the submit key, do I want to share the place ??? Mmmmm Well done Geoff and Margaret you get my vote. Just get a Lincolnshire Flag up to make it Perfic. Frank & Kim

July 2005 A lovely, clean, well kept site. As stated by others the toilets are spotless, the best we have come across in 15 years! There are a lot of rules and regulations, the one that disappointed us most was the gate being locked at 11.15pm, thats not very late if you want to take in a show at Skegness for example and your in your motorhome! But if you want peace and tranquility its the place to be, and no we are not over 60!! Will visit again.

March 2005 Just returned from Cherry Tree. This is a brilliant site and no I am not over 60. It's got the cleanest toilets and showers. Quiet site to get away from it all, beach not far, plenty of room for car, caravan and awning. The owners were very helpful, nothing too much trouble and always stopped for a natter to my hubby. We will go back as it's just the site we like, no rowdy people, adults only, no tents - brill!

July 2004 Just recently visited this site and cannot grumble about the ammenities - they are spotless. Was not too comfortable with the amount of rules and regulations around the place though - signs everywhere to adhere to. The owners are friendly - if not a little bit OTT, as they constantly police the site. Ideal place if you dont mind camping to rules and times etc or if you are over 60 as that was the average age!! Not for the real camper however as the owner was more concerned about keeping the grass immaculate, not sure how this was possible with a tent.....

July 2004 One of the nicest sites we have been on. All the better for being an adults only site. It has got to have some of the cleanest toilets I have seen on sites (you wipe your feet before you go in !) Very friendly people who own it and run it. Well worth a visit.
