We have just arrived home after a week at Cherry Tree. We chose it for it's location and previous reviews. We were met and shown to our pitch. The pitches are generous and very clean.

The whole site is very clean and well looked after. The toilet block is a real treat with the radio playing whilst you wash. Wonderful. We liked the entry/exit by automatic barrier out and an electronic key to return.

There was no noise as one would expect on an adults only site. The whole experience was as expected, relaxing, restful and approved by the wife. 'we'll come again. ' That will do for me.

Although out of season site was fairly full. Pitches are large level and private. Owners are very friendly and helpful facilities brilliant clean and very high standard. This was our first visit and won’t be our last.

I have to agree with some of the positive and lots of the negative reviews of this site as I have very mixed thoughts about it. The site is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and the owners must work extremely hard to keep it pristine.

If you are a none active pensioner in a motorhome or small caravan without an awning or pets then the facilities will be just what you need. However if you younger and active and have a caravan, car and awning then you will have little to no room to sit outside and you may find the list of regulations tiresome. If you also have dogs you may find the restrictions on them are very tight. There is no room for them to lie out on either hardstanding or grass and they will most certainly encroach on other pets either side or through the hedge and on extendable leads. There is also no exercise area for your dogs on site and the area specified off site is a tiny toilet grassed area, without fencing and in the layby directly onto the very fast, very busy and very noisy main road. It's not a site I would recommend for an active dog walker and it is certainly not dog friendly. The focus seems to be on beautiful flower beds and lawns.

Credit where is it due, the facilities on this site are very clean and the grounds are extremely well tended. However, that is where the credit ends. On arrival we were shown to our pitch by the owner who we think thought he was guiding a plane on a runway using semaphore, the only thing missing was the flags they use! This was an indication of things to come on the way the site was run. Notices up everywhere telling you which showers to use first, about not putting washing in the washing machine before reading the instructions first (I'm quite sure given the ages of the people on site that everyone has used a washing machine at least once in their lives), a notice telling you the grass areas of the touring park and seasonal area must NOT be used to walk your dog! Just seemed like an endless list of do's and don'ts so much so we thought we were at school and not on a relaxing holiday. The pitches were only just big enough for your car/caravan/awning with a small strip of grass separating you from your neighbour leaving you very little room to sit outside. This leaves the site feeling very souless. The area around Sutton on Sea is very tired looking and Mablethorpe is scruffy so this along with the way this site is run/laid out means we will NOT be returning.

We had a three day stop at this site, we would have stayed longer but fully booked. The site is immaculately kept with well groomed lawned areas and flowerbeds. We had a level hard standing pitch and found the pitches were well spaced. Access to the site is easy and controlled by a fob activated barrier. There is a motorhome service point as well as several water points throughout the site.

There are separate male, female and disabled wash areas - the ladies having 3 toilets, 3 privacy basins and 4 showers and were keep in pristine order. The showers were wall mounted without temperature control but I found the water a good temperature. Always a bonus that you can switch the shower on and off and not have to keep pressing a button.

Also a clean pot wash room with a washing machine (£3) and tumble dyer (60p) for 20 mins.

The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The beach is nearby as is Sutton on Sea, where we had good fish and chips!

Adults only and dog friendly.

Just returned home from a fantastic week at cherry tree. The toilet and shower block were spotless as well as the very well kept park a credit to all who work there. ! We were shown to our super pitch which had plenty of space for caravan. Car and awning all on hard standing. ! The site itself was very well kept and so clean. ! Good dog walk off the site through a few fields and about 10 mins to the beach. ! All in all perfect. ! Will definitely b returning. !

Very clean, quiet and well kept site. Facilities for motor homes, waste disposal etc. Excellent showers and toilets. Dog friendly. The pitch we had was a large and level hard standing and we would have needed rock pegs for our awning but we didn't erected it. No grass at the side of our pitch so dogs had to lay on sharp gravel when outside.

Great walk to miles of sandy beach perfect for dogs. Cycling ideal as most of beach has a concrete path running alongside. Good fish and chips in Sutton. Pity it closes at end of October until March. Would make a great Autumn retreat.

What a little gem this site is. The site is immaculate and Sue and Kevin have to be the hardest working wardens I have ever met!

Toilet facilities are spotless and the grounds could easily win a gardening contest. Nice little touches with a superb information hut, a brilliant motorhome service point that has been so well thought out. They have even made signs outside of the site to direct guests to the path to the beach.

We have been touring the UK staying at numerous sites and would have no hesitation putting this in our top 3.

This is one of the nicest sites we have stayed in so far, toilets and showers are immaculate at all times - neatly mowed grass and flower borders are beautiful - only a short walk into sutton-on-sea where you can get groceries, fish and chips, post office etc - if I had to pick something negative was the dog walking exercise area wasn't very big and I can never understand when caravan sites haven't got a designated large dog walking area that they feel the need to charge for a dog! We would definitely stay there again should we be in that neck of the woods

We stayed at this gem of a site over the May Day weekend and it was perfect. Upon arrival we were shown to our pitch by Kevin. The pitches are hard standing and wide, enough space for your unit, awning & vehicle.

The dog exercise area just outside of the site was well away from the road ( which wasn't busy) and quite sufficient as there was plenty of longer walks available nearby.

The facilities were immaculate, showers hot and on the whole a credit to Sue & Kevin who work hard to maintain this lovely little site. We can't wait to return.
