What a little gem of a place. We have just arrived back from here camping for the weekend. The children loved running about the big open fields and literally being children playing football, rounders, skipping, instead of being stuck in front of a TV.
We didn't go off site unfortunately due to my disability, however the field was lovely and flat with the occasional mole hill which the kids loved and there is electric hook up. There is no toilets on site however there is a chemical disposal which is so clean.
The owner who runs the campsite is so friendly and helpful and you must try the fresh eggs from the farm.
They also sell smokeless logs for your fire. We will definitely be going back. The views when we opened the tent are just so beautiful. Hope it stays just as it is. The owner even brought a bench set over to us off the farm so the kids didn't sit on the floor eating.
All round a super break away xx

What a little gem in the making. Still relatively new but such a pleasant site and the owners couldn't do enough for you.
What started out as a lovely weekend weather wise ended up with snow. As the ground was so wet we were asked not to take the 4X4 on to the grass to pull off. Caravan was then stuck as it was too heavy to push off. The owners said we could leave it there until the ground firmed up at no extra cost.
The views are stunning and the fresh eggs equally so. It's 10 minutes drive to the shops in Stokesley where there was a farmers market on. Strikes garden centre is five minutes more down the road. Plenty of pubs nearby serving meals if you didn't want to cook.
New security gates are being installed and some hard-standing. They are holding two rallies this years. (CC and CCC)so more people will get to see this wonderful little site.
This is going to be our weekend hideaway for as many weekends as we can manage!
