A lovely clean site. We were in our Motorhome so the Toilets and Showers being closed wasn't an issue for us.
Brian and his Son Jon were so friendly. They were always asking if everyone was OK. Beautiful scenery to.
We will definitely come back. Thankyou Brian and Jon.

We have just stayed in the Carlton Pod which are new to the campsite and are fabulous! We have never stayed in a pod before but what a brilliant experience from start to finish!
Me and my partner where in need of a break and booked this and will be 100% booking again for my birthday! We arrived and where greeted by John owners son who was welcoming polite with a great sense of humour.
John showed us to our pod and explained where everything was, how to use hottub and all facilities. Brian owner also came and welcomed us and has been brilliant with anything we needed! Facilities are immaculately clean. Fresh towels. Bedding and pod itself was lovely and cosy. Beds comfortable but would recommend a little side lamp for bed or in seating area so don't have to put big light on but but that's personal preference.
Location is brilliant town being close we didn't go into town as we wanted to make sure we relaxed and got the use of hottub which we certainly did! The location is so relaxing listening to the great outdoors and it being lambing season also so got to see the lovely little lambs!
We drove to a walking location about 10 minute drive away and walked up the hill (it's more of a mountain and I'm so unfit) haha.
We will be booking again most definitely! Brian the owner let us have a look at the other pods so we would know which we would want to try next. Thanks Brian for the making the time out and making our stay feel welcome! (And also John)
The campsite itself is also brilliant we didn't camp but others where relaxed and enjoying the countryside!
What a great start to your new adventure! We can't wait to see you again :)
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to book!

Me and my partner came away for my birthday and stayed in the Carlton Pod and we loved it! No complaints at all. We loved every minute here, they supplied everything you could need whilst you're there and came to make sure you were enjoying yourself, everything was okay for you, and just a general chat of what plans were and gave suggestions of nice places.
Both the owner and his son are lovely and very helpful, within half an hour of checking in they came to show us how to use hot tub etc. (we made sure we made the most of the hot tub, in it every morning and night, it was lush!) the bed and pillows were very comfy so we both slept well, we were surprised at how sound proofed the pods were so could here no noises from outside and you could escape the "baa'ing" from the field behind, but it's all the country experience.
We were the first to stay in the Carlton and we would definitely recommend to any aged couples wanting a peaceful country retreat. It's so close to a lot of places but far away enough for peace.
Hats off to the owner who has done an amazing job with the glaming pods. (must add I was a bit dubious about it being a pod and not having much space as I'm 6ft 2 but there was plenty of room. )
My only suggestion would be to have a coat hanger or some storage for your clothes as we were living out of our suitcases, fine for 3 nights but I would've struggled for any longer (as a girl I do overpack though haha).
Again, a massive thankyou to the owner and son for making us feel welcome and at home.

Had a great, relaxing break at this gem of a site, with a spectacular view of Carlton Bank and the gorgeous surrounding scenery, the night sky was stunning.
A lovely spacious site, plenty of decent space for the dogs to have a run instead of a walk was great.
Brian and his son John were great hosts. This site has the best of both worlds where you seem to be in the middle of nowhere but the lovely town of Stokesley is only a few miles away with fab family butchers for those all important steaks for the bbq.
No pressure to get off the site on leaving day, all in all a great site.
Will definitely be back.

We visited the site over the bank holiday weekend and stayed in an amazing camping Pod.
The facilities within the Pod were second to none. The gentleman who owns the site was very accommodating and organised a hot tub for us.
We had such an amazing time and will be booking back up for next year. I can not recommend this site and camping Pods enough. Beautiful views from the site and it was lovely and relaxing.
Thank you to the owner for providing us with such a lovely break and a great service.

We have just returned from South View Farm today after staying for two very peaceful nights.
From first arriving Brian was very helpful in allocating us a pitch on hardstaing as our car was not very powerful and may get stuck on the grass (the was our first caravan outing).
The toilets / showers looked new and were and very clean and user-friendly.
We highly recommended the site and we will definitely stay here again.
Thanks again, Brian.
Gareth and Helen.

Great site, great family owners, great facilities with excellent plumbing. Working farm next door with friendly horses,
5 minutes from civilisation (beautiful village) yet the great setting makes it feel like you are in the wilderness.
Fantastic views Very much recommended 👌

So glad we stopped here. Weather was bad so we missed the stunning views but a lovely tranquil site nonetheless.
Super friendly owners and the best showers/toilet units I’ve ever used camping.
Definitely hope to return. Thanks
