 The location is excellent
The views of the Cleveland hills are breathtaking
The site was very open with caravan’s not too close together
The facilities were cracking
We loved our stay so much we have booked 2 more weekends straight away
The owners were friendly
We could not recommend south view farm enough

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend away in our tourer at this lovely site.
The minute you arrive here you can feel the friendliness of the place. We were greeted by the adorable John who is such a friendly and helpful young man and helped us choose our pitch which was spacious and level.
Toilets and showers were modern and clean (showers nice and hot). John's Dad Brian was equally as friendly and helpful as his lovely son. Brian showed us round the luxury pods they have on site which are amazing.
We really did not want to come home and will certainly be returning!

Very informal and relaxed site with nice clean toilet and shower facilities.
Owner and son very friendly and helpful.
No grey disposal point for motorhomes.
Initial access through the electric gate was a mystery. 7/10

Great campsite and no hassle. I contacted the owner via email who provided all the details.
When we arrived we let ourselves through the electric gate and found a pitch.
The bathrooms are really nice with a shower and always felt warm. Next door there is an area to wash up with plenty of space.
Will definitely be booking again

Lovely views and very peaceful, Brian the owner was very welcoming and friendly.
Very good value for money, shower block could have been a little warmer and cleaner.

Beautiful backdrop of hills to this site and handy location for walking the Cleveland Way.
Picnic tables and good facilities.
Newly planted trees, pods and horses in nextdoor field add interest. Friendly owner.
Stokesley down the road has good choice of shops, supermarket, eateries, etc.
We recommend the fish and chip shop (great value, go hungry!).

Great little site. Stunning views with nice facilities.
The only thing that let it down were a couple of inconsiderate dog owners… the kids stood in for poo twice and had their ball taken by 2 dogs that were continually circling our van.
That aside, it really is a stunning location. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

We loved our stay at SouthView Retreat. Brian was very welcoming even with a last minute booking.
The facilities were impeccably clean. The campsite was very peaceful with a great view out up to Carlton.
I can highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back
