It was a lovely site
Good walking places to take the dog
We are going to go next year
The only thing what was wrong with it was the toilet blocks, the showers did not work properly

Visited with the Grandchildren who are 5 and 7.
The site is in a beautiful area, wonderful for walking or mountain biking.
Lots of nice pubs and restaurants in the local area.
The site is basic but well worth a visit.

Fab little campsite at the foothills of Lordstones. Extremely peaceful.
Owners extremely friendly and accommodating.
Facilities were extremely clean and the showers were fab. Hot and powerful, with no time limitations, which is just what you want after a muddy day mountain biking.
Will definitely re-visit.

Lovely location in the foothills of the Cleveland Hills.
Perfect for venturing further afield and exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors.
On arrival at the site we were welcomed by the owners and given details regarding the facilities on offer.

A lovely level site in a great location for the coast.
Good, basic, clean facilities and exceptionally helpful, friendly staff.
Perfect, apart from the loud 'music' in the evening and the distance to the shower.
Great value for money, would use again.

I couldn't make it due to a family emergency but stayed there before and it was amazing
Would go back again and it was a very clean site and nice and quiet with very good views of hills around and the toilets and showers are very clean and tidy

Myself and my 8 year old grandson came to stay for two nights in my recently bought two beeth touring caravan.
The site is lovely and clean and tidy toilets and shower block were fab.
John and his dad were very helpful and came round couple times and asked if everything was ok really friendly
We will defo be coming again.

Nice campsite with amazing views of the moor. Quite remote and only a mile off the coast to coast route.
One night is allowed unlike many campsites in the area.
Plenty of flat areas for pitching a tent. Nearest shops and restaurants were two miles away so it's best to grab something on route if you are walking in.
Facilities were good and clean. However the water pressure from the sinks was very high which we felt was wasting water.
Our greeting by the owner was a bit gruff; he came out about half an hour after we called to say we had arrived, didn't introduce himself and seemed uncertain about us being there despite having booked and paid over two months in advance. A better greeting would have put us more at ease at being there, though he clearly looks after the campsite well.

The site is delightfully situated under the Cleveland Hills.
It is quiet, spacious, well maintained and very relaxed, the owners are welcoming and friendly without being intrusive.
The facilities were good and regularly cleaned.
A very good location for walking and visiting the attractive local towns and villages.
Whilst we were there the sunsets were spectacular.
