Site is lovely, it has some beautiful views and easy to find, close to whitby 20 minutes and some little pubs 5 minutes down the road.
We stayed in 3 tents, 3 families with young children who loved just playing on the enclosed field, and chilling out, it was Very safe for them without worrying.
We hired the fire pits which were brilliant and came with everything you need. Little wash station for pots and self with lovely hot water was spot on.
Only negative would be the port-a loos which although clean did smell and we’re often blocked.
It would be perfect if they invested in some toilets, wouldn’t mind paying a little more for this facility.
We all really enjoyed ourselves and definitely would be back :)

Just arrived home after a 3 night stay. Location is stunning you can see and walk for miles.
Site is a basic field with 12 electric pitches and some non electric. It has 2 showers and 4 toilets and a wash up area.
The entrance is security gated which needs a code to get in and out. Brian and his son John are both lovely and welcoming.
This last year they have erected 6 pods with hotubs.

First visit to this site. A friendly welcome, lots of space and lovely views.
A great area to explore, I recommend Mount Grace Priory just a few miles down the A 172.
Will definitely be back.

A beautiful and peaceful setting. Really friendly and although the facilities are fairly basic, it feels right for where you are.
I will definitely go back,
It is well situated for walking and visiting some lovely villages and towns.

We had a lovely welcome from John who asked us to fill out a track and trace form. The site is lovely. Nestled at the foot of the Cleveland hills, amongst lovely scenery.
Toilets and showers were modern and clean.
All amenities were great. The site is dog friendly and there was a lovely, dog friendly pub about a mile down the road. A pleasant stroll with a nice pint at the end of it. Bonus!
We will definitely be back to Southview.

Nice quiet site, well located for cycling lowland villages around Stokesley and walking straight up Cringle and Carlton Bank on the moors.
Clean toilets and showers.
Former CL site with lots of extra space and hook-ups.
At £20/night with electric and free showers it is not too expensive.
