This site was very nice. Plenty of space for the motorhome and a big awning. The staff were friendly, and facilities were to a high standard. Great park and ride service in to Plymouth town centre about 5 - 10 minutes from this site. Will definitely visit this site again

July 2004 Visited this site as an overnight stopover before catching the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry for a fortnight in France. Great site, Car can be left attached to the caravan within the stopover area for a quick early morning getaway.15mins and your at the port. On our return we stayed here for 3 nights. Outdoor pool, A cheap and cheerful takeaway service and a bar serving a pint or 2 of beer which is fantastic after 2 weeks of wine and breton cidre. The little gems were kept quiet with the play areas and games room. Pitches were spacious and the showers, toilets ect spotless. The site even had fellow holidaymakers that spoke to you as though they were your neighbours. (and no extra charge)Read the other reviews and when you visit the site please read the thought for the day. Ours on leaving related to ALL Caravanners 'It's not what you have but how often you use it'

August 2005 What a lovely site, yes it is just off a main dual carriageway and it is behind a retail park, but once you are on site it is wonderfully quiet. Good pool, bar and takeaway, grass pitches are available. For more privacy choose pitches around the edges and towards the back of the site. Plymouth City centre is only a 5 minute drive away, take the Torpoint ferry across into Cornwall for some of the best family beaches around.

August 2005 A large site convenient for access to main A38, a large Sainsburys, Park And Ride into Plymouth (all <1 mile!)
As soon as you enter the site you are not aware just how close you are to a busy dual carriageway etc.
Aunt Mabel's chips are excellent.

August 2003 This was one of the first sites we ever stayed at and were impressed.
Be aware that it's a real funny site to find - perched in a little secluded area at the back of an industrial/retail park and off the main dual carriageways - but you don't realise this once you're on site.
Also a circular bus service runs from outside the main driveway to take you straight into Plymouth and back.
Lots of facilities though they could do with upgrading a little. Shop was okay, tidy bar and cafe with nice chips and plenty of water/drain points scattered around the site.
Most pitches are hard standing and the sub surface of the grass was a touch sturdy - make sure you have steel pegs and a good hammer!
Only bad point - the site was very very dark of a evening with very few lights which can be a little off putting and you have to get the kids back from the playpark before they are stranded in darkness.
Enjoy your stay - and the chips!!!

August 2004 I agree with all that has been said. It was a good site and being able to use a dedicated cycle route was a bonus. Cheap Park n Ride to plymouth just around the corner and well worth it. Only downside was perhaps too many little dogs a wandering. As new tenters we didn't appreciate pitching on a pile before we realised what the smell was. Perhaps a dedicated area, dog free could be provided. We'll go again and recommend.

July 2002 An excellent choice. Plymouth city centre is only a few minutes away, yet you feel in the heart of the countryside when on site. The pitches and general facilities are immaculately kept, excellent shower and washing up areas. Plenty of space for the children to play and ride their bikes, with a recently completed cycle path on the doorstep. We hope to return soon.

August 2001 I visited the site with a friend for August Bank Holiday 2001. Site was very clean, showers & toilets of very high cleanliness. Reception gave a very warm and friendly welcome, however, the shop was quite limited. I have recommended this site to friends and I am hoping to return to this site for August Bank Holiday this year (2002).
