Second time here and again it was good, nice site with good facilities.
Didn’t realise it had fully serviced pitches and don’t think it was mentioned when I booked. I would have preferred one.
Will definitely stay again.
Would be nicer if updated once in a while.

This is a family run well cared for site with good clean facilities, it’s an oasis set within a few hundred yards of the Plymouth exit of the A38 which you never here and by the banks of the river plym. The on site catering is good and fairly priced with take away and dine in or al fresco facilities.
The staff on site make sure you are covid safe. Because of the sites location access to country walks and a for the more energetic walks to Dartmoor along the old rail link are beautiful, it’s also easy to day trip to the beautiful south Devon or cornwall beaches and all the historic places that Plymouth and surrounding area has to offer.
Bus routes to plymouths city centre are within a few hundred yards of the sites exit. The only dissapointed that was the clubhouse could have been open daytime but during our stay was open from 5-30 pm daily with food served till 8 pm. Possibly due to covid restrictions.
To finish this I would like to declare that I am a Plymothian living here all my life without realising this little oasis was right on my doorstep we enjoyed a great stay and yes despite only being a short drive across the city for us we will definitely return for a long weekend or two THANK YOU RIVERSIDE !

Nice site but too many rules and not what I call dog friendly. We had to drag our dog off site to have a poo and the dog walk area to take your dog was not very nice.
Site well kept. Hard standing was very hard, job to get the pegs in.
Will not return.

Sadly, all facilities were still closed due to covid restrictions so I'm unable to comment on those.
The site was very clean and well kept, it is tucked away in a quiet location, you would never know you were so close to the busy hub of Plymouth.

First class caravan park. Check in was seamless and so helpful.
Shower and toilet block spotless.
Would recommend and certainly use again.
Excellent location for site seeing in Plymouth.

Stayed for 5 nights in October during tier 1 Covid restrictions. Facilities immaculately clean and cleaned regularly with plenty of notices with Covid guidelines. There was plenty of space and site was quiet so social distancing never a problem.
Site is well located to access national cycle route 27 which takes you into Plymouth (via NT property Saltram) or up towards Tavistock and the moors.
Park and ride bus stop about 15 min walk which takes you into city centre.
Would also be very handy for overnight stop for next day ferry trip.
Lots of tourist info (paid attractions) given on arrival. But no info about cycle routes and buses which is a shame.
Wifi is available on a pay as you use basis.
Lovely staff

We stayed here for 7 nights this was our first visit to the area.
Did use the washing machine and dryer possible the best dryer I have used.
There is a lot to see and do around the area.

Lovely setting. Plenty of space even in the height of summer.
Very clean facilities.
Handy for supermarket, bus into Plymouth and walk up the river path and, when open the steam railway

Lovely site, beautiful surroundings. Toilets excellent.
Good location for travelling to Plymouth by bus or bike.
On the downside, felt there was a lack of local information ie cycle paths, walking routes.
Plenty of leaflets on paid attractions but very poor local info.

A very pleasant site with easy access from the A38 and well signposted. When arriving/leaving the site you drive through an retail site with many well known brands present (the Next store is the best we seen) but don’t be put off as the site is secluded and private.
On arrival we had a very pleasant welcome and were pre-allocated a pitch. Pitches are either grass or hard standing and have 16 amp electrics. There are ample water & waste points and a Motorhome waste & filling area by the first wash block. There are two washblocks both of adequate size for the site. There is also a small pool, restaurant, take away and bar but as we did not use them we cannot comment but they looked fine to us.
The site affords easy walkable access to a Sainsbury’s supermarket, a park&ride for Plymouth, a steam railway (Sunday only) and Saltram House NT property.
The only downside to this site is that there is no gate or security barrier which is something we think they should address. However there do not appear to be any issues as the site is very secluded.
We would quite happily stay at this campsite again when in the area.
