Everything about the site, position for buses and shops, scenery, dog walks are brilliant but shop although handy is very pricey, cafe and pub are welcoming and reasonably priced.
Toilets and showers very poor standard and need updating

Nice big open site, close to retail parks, bus service into Plymouth,
Showers toilets ok could be cleaner,
Surrounded by trees fairly quite, bar and takeaway or eat in food nice drinks pricey, also supermarkets shops and a beefeater restaurant within walking distance,
Nice walk by the river,
No security barrier gate, but had no problems,
Would return if down this way,

Ideally located for traveling into Plymouth with a bus service close by.
The site and toilet facilities were kept to a high standard. A nice wooded site.
The bar, restaurant and take away offered very good food.
A nice swimming pool which was ideal given the hot weather.
We were so impressed by the site that we have booked to go back again.

Nicely located for visiting Plymouth. Bus stop about ten minutes away, the 50 and 51 bus get you there and back.
The site is tidy but could do with a bit of updating particularly the wash blocks which are a bit tired. Some showers had rusty shower gel trays, and some w/cs had loose seats. They were kept clean though.
There is a bar open during peak periods during the evening, and also there is on site food available for eating in the bar or as a takeaway. The food looked good but we only had chips ourselves.
The one complaint I had was it is £2. 50 per night per dog, but there is no dog walk or bins on site, were told to walk our dog off site. So for the life of me I could see no reason for them charging for dogs. They also seem to charge for awnings too. Although we didn't pay for ours. It all seems like a bit of progressive pricing to us.

Stayed here as we had a family party in the area. Good for getting into Plymouth, I didn't like anything else about the site.
Bar was closed so can't comment on that. We had our dog with us, first thing we were told was they didn't want to see her being walked on site, however did notice that the seasonal caravans didn't seem to worry about that rule, the dog walk area is off site along the river, not so nice in Nov, when its been raining and very water logged and muddy, dog waste bins are provided by the council, however the site charges for dogs! WHY?
Toilet block very dated, not cleaned very well and not very warm.
Wouldn't stay again.

Beautiful campsite - very peaceful location, feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere despite it being so close to busy roads and retail park.
Staff very welcoming and helpful - thank you for the recommendation for the beach at Bigbury on Sea - absolutely stunning.

Great location and very convenient for Plymouth. Surrounded by trees. You wouldn’t know you’re so close to the city.
Facilities were clean.
Take aways and pizza nights were welcome on nights we were too knackered to cook!
Pool was clean and big enough to do lengths as exercise. Long walks along the riverbank suited our dog Dylan!
The staff could not have been nicer…

Great site originally booked on for 3 nights then asked to extend. The hosts were great helpful and friendly.
3 shower block areas/toilets. Washing machines and tumble dryers £4 a wash and £1 a dryer. Ironing board also supplied.
Swimming pool, bar restaurant serving home cooked food which was delicious. Games room karaoke disco and live acts pizza night Wednesdays
We will use this as our base on our next trip ideal for cycling walking running bus to town!
This is a quiet site the bar closes at 10:30 the disco does not effect you on site its well situated. Also a small shop at reception! Costa in next at the end of the road.
50&51 bus stops opposite ocean bmw garage to town and the 21&21a stops at macdonalds coming back or picks up at sainsburys which is 15 minute walk away.

Useful campsite close to Plymouth, buses can be caught at the end of the road.
A Spacious campsite which has clean facilities.
A well kept swimming pool, but we didn’t use, but it was a good sitting.
Worth noting, there was no security gate to the site, though I do use a steering wheel lock so no problem for us.
