Just returned from a 12 night stay here. The weather was generally good but absolutely chucked it down on the morning we packed up.
The pitch was an electric hook up type and was enormous and well drained. We have a large trailer tent to accommodate our 5 children (and ourselves).
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with tips about where to eat out and where to find the laundry in town. A useful addition to the site would be a family ablution room and a laundry. Toilets and showers were very good. I always had a shower which was hot and the facilities were cleaned regularly. There is a mother and baby room in the female facilities but no room for Dads to care for babies in their facilities. The play area was sufficient for the children's needs. Principally, it is a social area for children to meet and play games even though there are swings etc, our children spent most of their time making friends and playing games in the small wooded area. The road approach is narrow but there are sufficient passing places if motorists are polite.
The area is wonderful and was not too busy when we were there. The boat trips to Puffin Island were a big hit with us and was great followed by slap up lunch for hungry sailors at the 'Liverpool Arms Hotel' (nice pint of 'Flowers' to be had there). Beumaris castle is fascinating. Had a great time crab fishing. If you go to the butchers in the town he will give you a bag of bait for £1 and lots of advice about how to catch them.
Free freezer at the female block entrance is useful if you need to store frozen foodstuff or freezer blocks.
Generally a well kept, drained and run site which is perfect for families (better with a family room and laundry). Very quiet site and safe.
The area stayed fine even when areas nearby were wet. Beautiful views across the Menai Straits towards Snowdonia and the mountains. Would go again.

Mixed views on this site. Shower/toilet blocks very new, modern and fantastically clean with free hot water& wash up facilities. Small on site shop sells bare essentials and sweets, playground on site for the kids. Very friendly & helpful people who run it. Recycling for refuse (but not plastic?)which is great. Signs saying no noise after 11 & there wasn't so nice and quiet.
But.On arrival we were told exactly where to put our tent, which way it should be and which side to park our car. We were in field 1. Both field 1 and 2 are on a slope and are very exposed to wind so being told where to park our car meant we couldn't even use it as a wind break and we were situated right in the centre of the field with no wind protection. This is a very, very windy site. On exploring the park we discovered 'the meadow' this is a fantastic part of the site ideal for tents as each pitch is surrounded on 3 sides by hedges meaning it is lovely and sheltered and warm. However, it was totally waterlogged which, I assume, is the reason all the tents were on the windy fields as the meadow wasn't fit to camp in which is a shame.
No lights at all so late trips to do teeth or go to the loo are in total darkness but means you can see hundreds of stars you wouldn't see with light pollution.
Price wise we were shocked, after chatting to others, to discover that a caravan (2 adults, 2 kids) with electric hook up were only paying £23 per night whereas us in a tent (2 adults, 1 kid) were paying £20 a night with no electricity.

What a super little site in one of the nicest areas of Anglesey. We stayed in field 2 which has a gentle slope but not really enough to notice.
All pitches are marked and pre-allocated.
The toilet block in field 2 is fantastic, large spacious and spotless, it's a massive investment considering the size of the fields it serves.
We were greeted by Chris who took our details and showed us to our pitch. Very friendly and helpful, unlike a lot of sites it's a pleasure to book in. There is a small but well stocked shop and freezers are available free of charge for cool blocks and frozen food.
The site is about 2 miles outside Beaumaris, it's a lovely little town but don't expect to go there for a shopping trip. If you have children take them crab fishing off the pier, just buy some crab bait (£1) from the butchers on the main street (don't use the bait available from the pier shops) and a cheap crab line and you've got an hours family entertainment for a couple of pounds. Also, buy youself a kite, it's nearly always windy enough to fly on the green near the pier. We loved it and are already booking again

Just come back from a 5 day stay at this site. What a gem of a place. Owners really helpful, lovely and clean and the new shower/toilet block was spotless on every visit.
The entrance road was very narrow, but we had no problems in our motorhome.
We had a very peaceful time, only hearing the wildlife.Bliss(apart from the odd plane from RAF Valley)
Definitely worth another visit.

Just been for a short break over the weekend supporting our daughter and son in law with our new grandson and their new tent, and found this site excellent. The toilet block is the best we have seen in many years camping and caravanning. The site owners could not be faulted being very friendly and extremely helpful.
The pitches allocated to us were huge and neatly cut with no restrictions in how we pitched. This could be different if the site was busy. Sadly our son in law got sick and had to cut short their stay which prompted a visit from the very concerned owner who inquired if everything was ok and could he help in any way. He also gave our son in law a refund for the fees not used-this we have never encountered before.
The 'only' negative about this site concerns campers with touring vans and it is the short but narrow lane to the site. This lane has passing places but you can't fit a car and caravan into these so somebody has to reverse but don't let this put you off visiting. The site and owners easily make up for this minor inconvenience.

Have just spent 2 nights here for our first ever camping trip. We had a brilliant time and can't wait to go again.
I was apprehensive at first of camping due to using toilet/shower blocks however I needn't of worried. They were immaculately clean and warm.
The owners and their sons are very friendly and the campsite well laid out so the tents aren't on top of one another.
We went to Beaumaris and had a lovely Indian at the Menai Tandoori, would highly recommend! A must visit is Llandonna beach, a very winding path to get there but worth it as virtually deserted and very clean, lots of sand as well not pebbly like Beaumaris.

Great site - quiet, wooded, grass pitches and plenty of wildlife about. Walkable along the road or woodland/beach path to the town (approx 3miles). Weather mixed and was a bit worried about getting stuck but owners have a great Landrover to tow you out - not needed as it happens. Bigger field at front for camping and families with spotless shower block. Our field further into the camp had secluded bays and a lovely clean shower block with unlimited hot water. Would definitely return here!

Kingsbridge is very easy to locate and signposted off the A545 about 2 miles north from Beaumaris.
The last 400yards is up a tight lane, although there are passing places.
The site is divided into fields and also has 'meadow' areas which are smaller, more secluded areas further into the site. There are also a few well kept static caravans on site.
There is a shop, and the best toilet/shower block I have ever seen on a site, with underfloor heating. This block is new and serves the larger fields.
We were pitched near the children's play area in the larger field which the owner's only site caravans and tents around the outside keeping the area in the middle for ball games and for children to play. The play area is adequate and there is a bit of a wood for them to play.
The site owners were lovely and were very relaxed about the time we left. The site is a credit to their obvious hard work and is immaculate.

We visited this site at the end of April and I was very impressed with it. The toilet / shower blocks are superb, immaculately clean, spacious and they had underfloor heating. The site itself is well kept and well presented. There is a small play ground for the children and they also keep the centre of the field clear of tents so that this can be used as a play area for families. There is a small shop on site which is by no means large but is perfectly adequate should you need something at short notice. We were pleasantly surprised that they also have recycling bins (big plus for us). Beaumaris itself is lovely and only a short distance away from the town and the beach. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were going to book for both upcoming bank holidays but they are already fully booked but we most definitely will be going back again.
Triple A++++++++ in our opinion

We stayed at Kingsbridge the week after the Easter Holidays, as we thought it would be a little quieter - we were right! We were given a choice of where to pitch and chose The Meadow, which is down at the far end of the site - and there was not another soul around all weekend (a bit eerie at first!) The site is beautiful - especially the toilet and shower blocks which were always immaculate and lovely and warm. Can't fault this site at all - the owners were very friendly, as others have commented. We will definitely be visiting Kingsbridge again - and soon.
