This site is great. We only managed to stay for the one night but definitely wished we could have stayed for longer. When we arrived we were told that there was space in the 'meadow' which turned out to be a grassy area with alcoves which were large enough for our tent and car making it more private. There are two other fields for tents / caravans with a large area in the centre of one field for the kids to run about in and a small play area. The shower block near the meadow area was immaculate with free showers which were lovely and hot. There is a small shop on site and when we arrived, we were asked if we wanted to order a newspaper for the following day which was great. This site is a credit to its owners. All in all a fab site and we will definitely be returning.

Wonderful site. The site owners are lovely, friendly people. Clean showers/toilets. Great for kids and adults alike. Hook ups aplenty. Small, very basic childrens playground but they didn't mind as the site is so large they could just run free without annoying anybody. Small but well stocked shop son site.Five minutes drive from Beaumaris. All this and great weather too! We will be back.

Not been here for a good few years and I can only say that things are just the same. The site is great. There have been a few improvements - new toilet block, shop and a few roads put in, but generally everything is the same. The site doesn't get overcrowded, there is plenty of space to pitch and the kids can play ball. Our friends came with us who where virgin campers and they loved it so much they went out and bought everything. they too said they would definitely be coming back. Would recommend this site to anyone, well done to Andy and Marian who own the site, its a credit to you.

Just returned from a lovely 4 day break at Kingsbridge Caravan Park. Initially it was raining on site when we arrived but we did not need to worry, owner Andy and his son were on hand offering to tow all caravans to the pitches. Whilst we had a 4x4 and didn't need help, many did and given the incline of Field 1 and the wet weather, their hospitality was greatly welcomed by many.
Field 1 where we were pitched was were most families were placed. Fantastic choice. A great big open space for games and for the kids to play. There is a small site shop/reception selling essentials and manned by Marion, the owner.
This is a well kept site. There are 2 toilet/shower blocks, one is spotless and newly refurbished, the other is the total opposite and in desperate need of some love and attention, walk the extra few yards and use the new facility - you will not be disappointed. The amazing thing about this site, was that people were not being racked and stacked. Owners were not money grabbers out to get what they can at the cost of their residents - a refreshing change. The main consideration for the owner Andy was that they were able to provide a good ratio of facilities for everyone.

Stayed here on a wet and windy weekend. Helpful and friendly owners, with a small well stocked shop. The site itself is very quiet and peaceful, with trees and shrubs all around. The old toilet and shower and shower block is a bit basic, but adequate, with plenty of hot water for dish washing (dishcloth and sponge provided!). The new shower block was a welcome luxury. There's a new block being built on the first field as you enter the site which will make it even better.

I have been camping before in some primitive places, cold water only and dark cold toilets with no loo roll (some would say even that was a luxury!), but nothing prepared me for the wonderful Kingsbridge. My first visit was in 2001 and I've been back every year and am now taking my son who was born in 2002. Their approach to eco-camping is fantastic. They have a David Bellamy Gold Medal Award for conservation and their healthy approach to recycling and energy saving.
The view of Snowdonia from the entrance of the site is something that stays with me all the 3 LONG months when Kingsbridge is closed! Every year us Crazy Midlanders descend for Summer Solstice celebrations in June so come and join us! The only VERY busy time is August when the Beaumaris Regatta is on, but if you book in advance, there'll always be a space for you. Now I'm making yet another return visit return and I am taking my husband-to-be and son for the weekend - we can't wait.
Of course all credit goes to Andy and Marion for their seemingly ceaseless work to make sure that everything goes smoothly for everyone during your stay. Long may they reign!

We have just spent a lovely long weekend at this campsite just outside the picturesque town of Beaumaris. There is a small village nearby with a small supermarket and Beaumaris has plenty of shops, beach, pubs and a leisure centre. The castle and other attractions are great. It enjoys a great position with spectacular views over the Menai Straits and across into Snowdonia.
The island of Anglesey as a whole has loads to see and doso we need to go back to further explore.
The site facilities were well maintained and are due to be added to over the next year. There are currently two shower blocks, one is only 5 years old with under floor heating. The other is older but well kept. A new block is due for construction very shortly.
A new shop was being built but the existing one was great, supplying all the necessities - chocolate - oh yes and milk, newspapers, gas etc. Free ice-pack recharging and loan of ice packs while on site.
Electric hook-ups were available if required.
The children's play area was great, the kids (5 and 1) loved it. We felt they were very safe. There were also large open spaces for ball games.
The owners could not have been more helpful, very relaxed about things and happy to let people leave late in the day.
We would definitely go there again.

August 2005 Clean and friendly campsite. Only problem is the distance to the toilets from the first and second field for camping. The first toilet block is a little to be desired but the new toilet block a little further is very clean and well equiped. They have plans for a new toilet block by the first and second field so that woudl be greatly appreciated. Definately worth a visit back.

August 2005 Fantastic quiet site. There is a rule no noise after 11pm. After this time you could hear a pin drop. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are spot on. It is a good well run site that I will visit again. The only drawback is that you have to drive to get to the beach.

July 2005 Second time we have stayed for a weekend here. Despite getting soaked putting the tent up, we had an excellent time for our daughter's 11th birthday party with her 10 fellow camping guests. The owners are very helpful, and didn't hesitate to help us start our flat batteried car after the lights were left on! Didn't try the barbie as weather wasn't looking too good, but good chip shop in Biwmaris although it closes at 7.00pm.
If you want later take away food you will need to drive to Menai Bridge where there is an excellent choice of chinese, indian and chippies. Facilities at the camp site are just right - clean, and everything you need. Playground is good, and the whole site provides an excellent bit of countryside for kids to play. Will definitely visit again to try out the gear before our european camping trips!
