We have just returned from a weekend at this campsite. We were booked in for 3 nights but could only stay for 2.
The pitch we were given was at the bottom end of the campsite in field 3 I think.
It was very dark and because of all the recent rain was very boggy.
The ground under our awning became so bad that we decided we couldn't stay another night it was very unpleasant.
At £26 a night we would expect a better drained pitch.
The toilet/shower block was immaculate. The site is well situated for touring Anglesey and Beaumaris is a lovely place to visit.
It's such a shame about the drainage issues.

My Wife and I stayed at Kingsbridge for a few days in June, we choose this site based on the previous reviews.
The site itself it in a very rural area and very very quiet, may have had something to do with there being only 7 or 8 other units on Fields 1 & 2, there is a no noise rule in place for after 11 but this was never an issue, one other rule is for dogs to be kept on a lead, but 2 other couples felt that this did not apply to their dogs who ran around at leisure, but they did call them back when straying too far, the owners need to a bit more visible to control dogs, sorry but we are not dog people.
The new toilet block is very nice, some previous review said they were cleaned regular, sorry but they aren't, when we arrived I used the loo, washed my hands and noticed a couple of dead flies in the first sink also there were dead moths in the dish washing sinks, they were still there 2 days later which was when we saw them being cleaned for the first time, maybe it had something to do with the site being so quite, also you don't have to be shy when using the gents when they're being cleaned, because for sure the female cleaner isn't (work that one out yourselves).
It is close to Beaumaris, 25 minutes walk down a country lane, footpath across the golf course and one more country lane (nice walk). Plenty of places to eat and drink there (we recommend The Pier House), also there's a well stocked Spar shop.
We will be back, really a nice quiet site.

'Well what more can I say', that has not already been said. This Is a Beautiful, Tranquil CC site. Set In a lovely area. Nice separate fields with well cut and lawned grass and spacious pitchs. Shop on site
The Toilets are Immaculate And are the best I've visited on any campsite. I booked In one night as I was walking the I. A. C. Path walk.
I wished I could have stayed longer. It was so relaxing
I arrived on site to a very warm welcome greeting from Marian. And her and Andy were very helpful and very pleasant.
They are very attentive to everybody's needs, and very customer orientated.
This Is a top Class site and I would highly recommend :

Just come back from a two-night stay on this site and couldn't wait to tell everyone how good it was!
Just two miles out of Beaumaris with it's 'artisan' type shops; a really well stocked Spar; plenty of eating places; a nice sea-front with a super little paddling pool for kids and even a small pier, what more could you want!
This site was a real jem. We didn't have any children with us but the play areas looked good and plenty of room was available for ball games in two of the camping/caravanning fields.
We opted for the 'quite' area at the back of the site and it was exactly that (no hook-up's in this area but plenty in the other fields). Our pitch was surrounded by trees and completely private (pitch 102). There was plenty of space allowed for each pitch so no-one was on top of their neighbours.
The shower block nearest to us had two showers, three toilets and two cubicles with hand basins one of which was suitable for baby changing. There was plenty of hot water (free) but we couldn't get the hair-dryer to work (probably just a blip as my husband said the one in the gents was working fine).
There was a room for washing-up with two sinks and a freezer for freezer packs (no charge for this) and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Each of the 'fields' had it's own shower block and rubbish area which was screened off with bins marked for recycling.
There were the usual places for waste water and chemical toilets to be emptied - again everywhere was very clean and well maintained.
The reception also doubled up as the shop which was small but covered all essentials and bits and pieces for kids as far as I could tell.
The staff we met were friendly and helpful and I've brought several information leaflets to pass on to friends and would certainly go back again.

This is a lovely site, very peaceful and the people that run the site are very friendly and helpful. They pitched and levelled up our caravan for us which was great! we just stood and watched.
We had a problem with our gas regulator during our stay and the site owners couldn't do enough to help us sort the problem and recommended a mobile repair chap who came to the site and replaced our regulator.
Local town is lovely, plenty of places to eat, lots of little shops and the local spar which is handy for groceries. We will certainly return here again.

We stayed for four nights just before the bank holiday. The site owners are friendly and welcoming, facilities are excellent and very clean - we were surprised how many times the showers and toilets are cleaned during the day!
Site well maintained. Playground is great, 7 yr old son loved it - especially the run around the back in the trees!
Main reason we booked was the quiet rule, which was observed.
Our first time camping in a long time and we'll definitely go back to Kingsbridge.

Stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed a week! The owners were really friendly and welcoming and it is very reasonably priced. It is a beautiful site and really well maintained.
We were put in the adult area, and it was really quiet and peaceful. There was also plenty of space between caravans/campervans so you didn't feel overlooked.
The toilet and shower block facilities were some of the best iv seen at a campsite. They were spotless and also come with a keycode lock on the door so limited to the people in that area of the site. The showers were lovely and hot and good pressure, and I also liked the separate sink cubicle for cleaning teeth etc.
This is one of the best sites Iv ever stayed at, and we will definitely return at some point. I would also recommend this site to anyone, I don't have one complaint I can make.

We have just returned from 8 nights (originally 7 but requested to stay an extra day) at this fantastic campsite set in the countryside about 5 minutes outside Beaumaris.
Everything about the site is spot on - units are not crammed in together, the toilet & dishwashing facilities are the best by far that we have seen anywhere & the owners & son were very friendly & helpful - going as far as to lend us an electric hook-up extension lead for our stay.
The play area & surrounding copse were much appreciated by all the children on the site.
The shop\reception, whilst appearing small, stocked just about everything a camper\caravanner is likely to have forgotten to pack, as well as a great selection of sweets & leaflets about tourist attractions nearby, of which there are many.
The only thing that I would change would be the rubbish collection area(s) as the various recycling bins filled up very quickly, although all the mess was cleared everyday.
Overall, we couldn't recommend Kingsbridge enough & are looking forward to visiting again soon.

My wife and I stayed at kingsbridge from 9th to 12th August. From the very beginning we loved the site and were not disappointed.
Beaumaris is a lovely location in Anglesey and the site is only a 2 mile drive from the town. Upon arriving at the site, we were shown to our pitch by very smiley owners and were given the T's and C's and shown around.
The site is very slightly sloped but no problem pitching. The site is split into three sections and we were in a section of just adults although the kids on site played well and everyone respected the quiet rule in the evening.
We were unlucky enough to be in Anglesey for a 38 hour torrential downpour with 35 mile an hour winds. Our new tent did us proud, but I was just as surprised at how well the ground did. Although wet, the site did not turn into a bog as some sites do in this type of weather.
The toilet block is amazing. Although it seems like its in construction, both male and female have three showers, an abundance of toilets, lots of sinks and it didn't matter if it was morning, noon or night, they were spotless, even amidst the storms.
There's a cracking little shop on site and the owners will gladly give you advice on places to visit and where to eat out.
Overall a great stay, not dampened by the weather. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here with my 4yr old son and Daughter and her Husband here for 2 nights and cannot rate the site high enough for cleanliness, space between the tents and the general help of the staff. The toilet block is as good as a hotel bathroom very modern, it seriously lacks a launderette but from what we saw there is one nearing completion. There only 2 bad points that I could say and they are not that bad but would make a massive difference. 1. The playground for the field that we were put on is a very long way from the field and therefore we didint use it, 2. There is no path lighting at all which would be better at night when you wish to take a 4 yr old to the toilet block who doesn't like the dark. This was my daughters first experience and we cannot wait to go again to this site. There is loads to do within easy travelling distance but please note the local fish and chip shop in Beaumaris closes very early lol.
