We visited over easter and stayed at the top end of field 2. We had taken 2 extra adults with us, which wasn't a problem but took the cost up to £105 for 3 nights (no electric). We got a £15 refund on the sunday as the tent wasn't as big as we thought which was great. The owners are really helpful and friendly, the little shop is handy and the site is clean and beautiful.
The toilet block is the best ever, clean, warm and never had to wait more than a couple of mins for a shower, plenty of hot water, washing up area well lit and clean. Would go back, really enjoyed it, very peaceful and enjoying. Get it booked!

Just spent a lovely Easter Weekend at Kingsbridge. The weather was glorious which helped but even so a great site. Well laid out, went with two other families in Trailer tents and we were shown to our pitches after checking in. Nice and sheltered lots of space in the middle of the field for the kids to play, quiet after 11pm. Exceptional toilet and shower block - that underfloor heating was so welcome as the nights were cold! Would recommend.

Spot on, stayed 2 nights last camping of the season but loved it.
Clean toilets, plenty of space for pitching, secure site. friendly site. No problem with our large tents. Can't wait to come in May 2009
Crab fishing local of the pier, first time we had done this but the kids loved it, came back for a second go.
This is a truly A1 site would recommend to anyone with a tent.

Spent 11 nights at this campsite and really enjoyed it (despite the weather!). It is a well laid out and maintained site. The toilet blocks are brand new and always spotless with free showers with controllable temperature (helpful if your child likes warm showers not hot!). The owners were extremely helpful, especially when we decided to stay longer and we were allowed to stay on the same pitch even though the camp was fully booked and we got a cancellation. Although we had gales and very heavy rain the site did not get too waterlogged although I heard other sites did. You are only a few minutes away from Beaumaris for a Spar shop though Menai has a co-op which is bigger and cheaper. The kids loved crab fishing off Beaumaris pier every evening and caught loads - cheap entertainment! Hope this site does not go seasonal or caravan only as we are already planning to go again next year.

This site is quiet & family based providing a good base for exploring Angelsy & Snowdonia. We have just spent a week there and overall enjoyed it. There is a shop which currently is open 0900-1200 & 1800-2000hrs, although they would open up at any time too help out(gas, pasta etc!). The site was quite busy, the gents shower/ toilet block (new) coped well, although there were queus for the ladies showers on some days (3 showers). The new block is still being developed and will be an even better asset when completed. The addition of hooks/ hangers in all toilets & wash areas would help, which im sure will be incorporated in due course. Hair dryers were 20p to use which provided plenty of time. We did not use the older block during our stay.
The pot wash facilities (2 at either end of the new block) use household sinks (not too deep which hurt your back as on some sites). There was a never ending supply of very hot water even at peak times.
Adjacent to the pot washing was a free to use freezer for blocks/ meat etc which was excellent.
The childrens play area was basic & our children found it a little too basic compared to other sites we have stayed at. If this could be developed for the future again it would enhance this part of the site.
The fields & pitches were in good condition despite it being peak season/ bookings only, although they are quite close together and not everyone stuck within their sectioned area. The owners patrolled the site and dealt with any issues such as this immediately.
The owners were extremely helpful and dealt with an issue we had and provided feedback.
The site supports the environment with a recycle waste disposal area (segregation of glass's, tins / cans, general waste etc). I believe the hot water was generated from the solar panels in the new facilities block. Well done on these issues.
The surrounding area has excellent walks, beaches full of shells (clams, spider crabs, mussels etc), the pier is Beaumaris is a must for the kids to go crab catching! Buy your handline & bait on the pier. The boat trip to 'puffin island' takes about 1hour, we saw lots of puffins, seals, birds & jelly fish (beware of these when swimming!). The island sea zoo offered free return visits with the week which the kids loved. Visit Castle Bakery for waffles & Muffins. (You will go back for more)
Just up the road (10min walk, 2min in car)is a Spar, post office & village pub (under new ownership). We only found this on our last day, but were advised you must book for Sunday lunch as it is always full.
Overall, there is lots to do, regardless of the weather, just be prepared for rain. The current owners are doing a good job developing the site.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The owners were really helpful and friendly and the owner said they would open the shop any time if we needed anything and it is open 9-10am every day and has all the essentials.
Beaumaris is lovely. Beaumaris gaol and courthouse is a must. The gaol is quite eerie but fun.
There are nice boat trips out to Puffin island where you can see Dolphins, Puffins and Seals, although we only saw 1 puffin as it was the wrong time of year.
The site is immaculate and the owners should be very proud, there are a few rabbits ducking in and out of the hedgerows all day long, the playground is basic but my 6 year old loved it as he made so many friends. The toilet and shower block is clean and tidy and brand new and there is plenty of hot water for showers.
I would definitely go again and would highly recommend it to others.

This was our first time camping since before our children (10 & 6) were born. We went off the reviews we read on this site and we couldn't have chosen better.
The site is quiet with just a small shop that opens for an hour in the morning, the owner told us to give her a knock if we needed anything outside of this time and she would open up.
The shower block is brand new as previously stated in other reviews and has free hot water. It was always immaculately clean when we were there. There are 2 blocks, the one we were near has 3 showers in the ladies and 2 washing cubicles. It does cater for 3 fields so I imagine it could get quite busy, but at one time we were the only tent there so had the place to ourselves.
The playground is basic but the children enjoyed it and loved the dens all around in the bushes. This feels a very safe site and plenty of room for games.
Beaumaris is a nice town with a good bakery in the centre for fresh bread etc. There is a lovely shop called 'Pretty Things' up one of the side streets that I could have spent all day in!
We would definitely come here again especially as the sun shone for the whole of the time.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of April 2008. The campsite is really nice and the owners are very friendly and as helpful as can be which really adds to the charm of the place.
Only down the road from Beaumaris Castle the campsite has everything you need and we and the dog enjoyed our stay.
The toilet block, although unfinished, is really lovely and will be even more delightful when complete. The sinks for washing dishes were suffering a little from lack of pressure but we were still more than able to get the dishes done.
Recommended campsite!

We visited here from Easter Monday for three nights. Was cold at night but still had a great time. They are just in the process of finishing off the toilet block, which is very much usable but just in need of the finishing touches. The most amazing thing is the underfloor heating, which is great after a shower. Plenty of hot water. Small shop on site which was open a lot. Marion the owner was lovely and very helpful and seemed to work very long hours indeed.
The only downside was that the field got a bit muddy due to the amount of rain, but not their fault, more ours as we were in a motorhome and needed to drive over the grass frequently.
Would visit again.

Stayed at this camp site in October for a weekend based on the reviews of other people and we were not disappointed. When we were there it was fairly quiet being out of season, however we managed to get a great feel for the camp site and would definitely go back.
Brand new shower facilities with plenty of free hot water and loads of space.
A little on site shop which sells sweets and camping accessories was opended escpecially for us - our two children aged 4 and 2 thought this was great.
There's a playground with a few swings and climbing things for the children which although basic was absolutely fine.
I would recommend this site for someone who wants a quiet campsite without the 'bling' and commerciallty of other sites. Perfect for families I would say and a great location for the town of Beamaris which is only 5 minutes away by car. We discovered some great pubs and restaurants for food. The campsite owners were extremely friendly and welcoming.
