First camping trip for me, my wife and our 2-yrs-old daughter, and our experience of Cotswold wildlife park ensures that we will be venturing out very soon.
The pitches were pretty generous and a goo sleep was ensured by the quietness - despite site being full.
The farm park itseld is great for young kids and although you don't get a discout your tickets can be re-used during your stay. We went on both days for a few hours and our daughter loved it. The toilets were far away but were clean.
I'd recommend this place and will be going again. As it is the first site I've visited I can't compare it to any others - but it definitely has set the standard.

This site is fairly small but well laid out and flat. Electric hook up pitches are along one side of the site against a tall fir hedge which offers plenty of shelter. Showers (4) are in a porta-cabin and give plenty of hot water. Toilets are a little further away from the main site and are adjacent to the cafe/gift shop. Do take a torch if going to the loo at night as the path is not lit. There is a small dish wash area at the entrance to the site with two sinks. Although there did seem to be a bit of a queue for these at tea time. The farm park itself is lovely and offers discount to people staying on the campsite. Bags of animal food can be bought for 50p but beware the animals know what is in the white paper bags and will climb up the fences to get to you! Plenty of cute fluffy animals for children to hold, chicks, bunnies and guinea pigs to name a few. You can also help milk the cows and watch the sheep being sheared
The gift shop offers plenty for any pocket and i recommend the home cooked food in the cafe. There is no shop on site but Burton on the water is only a short drive away. Beside the entrance to the campsite is a nature/dog walk, .although they do like dogs to be kept on leads as there are cattle around the walk. (Also little escape artist piglets which we had to shoo back into their field more than once!)

We went to this site, twice last year It was our year of being "virgin campers" and this site was perfect for that. It is a campsite attached to the farm which is a tourist attraction where the kids can play, feed the animals, see cows being milked etc. While you are camping there, one day ticket to the farm actually gives you admission for the whole of your stay which is useful for entertaining the kids. It is small with only 36 pitches and the pitches are clearly marked out and spaced apart sensibly. The showers are basic being a portocabin type arrangement but they were clean and hot - what more do you need. Toilets were at the farm shop so a walk of maybe 100yds Nearby (5 minute drive) is Bourton on the water which is one of those beautiful villages that is just nice to be in and there are some nice restaurants and shops to keep everyone happy. Plenty of other pretty villages to see as well. Overall very good for young kids and we will revisit this year - for older kids you will need to drive to get to other attractions but at least you will be driving through some very pretty villages and country side.

Second visit here, and would go again. The site is fairly basic with clean toilets shared with the farm and showers (which we didn't use, only there a night) and a washing up area. Quite small with generous pitches (you can choose which one) and EHU if needed. Lovely relaxed attitude, we were told we could leave anytime as there was no-one booked on our pitch later that day. The farm is great for kids, can easily spend a day there. Nearby Bourton is nice/quaint with pubs and supermarket. Highly recommended.

Just come back from a lovely weekend at this campsite. Great sized pitches with plenty of space to spread out, and as the school holidays had just finished it was quite quiet. As already mentioned the facilities are quite basic, didn't mind the trek to the toilets, but did have a porta potti for nightly visits! The grass was quite long and therefore very wet in the morning. Consequently the showers got a bit muddy - I'll be taking a bath mat with me next time I go. It was great to wake up and look straight out onto the sheep grazing and the farm was great for the kids. Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds - Stow and Bourton were 6 miles away, and Cheltenham about 15 miles. Plenty of pubs for a Ploughmans lunch and a lots of walking routes. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

This is a great site. One review said it seemed to be aimed more at caravans and tourers, but when we went tents were in the majority. It was lovely having a space for your car alongside your pitch, and given that we were in a group of three families - we were able to make a lovey safe central play area for the children. There was also a big field at the end where we played cricket. It was a long trek to the toilet block, especially carrying young children in the dark. And we do agree with every-one who says that the toilet block isn't cleaned often enough. At the end of a busy day of farm park visitors the toilets were really grubby, and weren't cleaned until the next morning. The showers wren't much better - they were in a temporary portacabin type building, and smelt of mildew. You don't get a discount to the farm park for being a camper, and it is expensive, but you do get to re-use your ticket rather than having to pay again, so it was a good thing to have round the corner especially if you've got young children.

A brilliant little campsite situated right in the farm park, great for kids and even though we don't have any we spent many a happy hour in the farm park, developed a real love for the goats! A great marked walk around the farm with interesting things to see on the way round. The site is level with large well marked pitches and good facilities, a great base for exploring the cotswolds. The warden who visited at 9am each morning was such a great chap, updating on the daily weather forecast and always stopping for a chat, we also saw him in the farm park chatting to visitors and making sure that the operation ran smoothly over the bank holiday weekend, he clearly has great enthusiasm for the park and takes a pride in his work. We will definitely return to this site in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely site amongst fantastic countryside. The only downside was the trek to the toilets and the size of the shower cubicles. An investment in a nice toilet and shower block would be great. The farm park is a great place for the whole family and good value as you can use the facilities throughout your stay. Staff are nice and friendly. The kids loved it, lots of places to roam and even when the site is busy there is still lots of spare space to play. Well worth a visit. Would love to visit again.

Lovely rural site – seemed miles from anywhere. Site a big flat field on a hilltop. There is a line of trees down one side and when it is windy they must be very useful. The showers are located in a portacabin but they were better than some permanent ones we have been in and there were no queues. VERY long walk to toilets that involved going across the corner of the farm carpark. Toilets were not bad but would have benefited from being cleaned more than once a day due to the large numbers of people using them (they served the farm park as well as the campsite).
The farm park itself was nice but quite small and seemed to be aimed mostly at the under 10's. Our bigger children were probably the top of the age range that would enjoy it (being 10 and 8) and they did stand out as being the oldest children there even at the weekend. Having said that they did find enough to entertain themselves for several long visits!
The campsite seemed to be most popular with caravaner's – probably due to the limited facilities - and then mostly childfree couples. Our children were at a bit of a loose end once the farm park closed (at 5.00pm) as there were no play areas outside the farm and no other children their age to play with.
Site warden came round every morning to collect fees and check all was O.K. Pitch cost £10 a night and they were very flexible about arrival and departure times. Electric hook up was available.
Beautiful views, lovely location (3 miles from Bourton-on the-Water. Stow also 3 miles away and the location of the nearest supermarket). A good place to relax in the peace and quiet.

Just got back from 2 nights at this lovely, peaceful site high up in the Cotswolds. It's a fabulous site and the farm park itself is a great day out - if you stay at the camp site your entry tickets are valid for the whole of your stay and there's loads to see and do. The camp site itself is basic and a bit exposed - we visited Bourton on the Water where the weather was lovely but got back to site to howling winds and driving rain. The showers and toilets are kept clean and tidy and the warden comes round daily to check everyone is OK. The food in the farm park restaurant was fantastic value, huge portions of home-cooked (not nuked!) meals at really reasonable prices. I can highly recommend this site if you want to get away from it all but still have stuff for the kids to do. We will definitely return!
