Wanted to see the rare breeds, so staying at a camp site next door was ideal. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the site. One of the best we have stayed at. Nice flat pitches with excellent clean facilities and 5 mins walk to see the farm.
When staying there, try the excellent food in the local pub, if you walk there (20 mins downhill) on the right night then they will offer you a lift back to the camp site.
If you want to see the rare breeds at Adam Henson's farm, then this is the place to spend a few nights, with lots more to do locally as well as on site.

Just returned from a long weekend here with two other families. The site is very well looked after and the on-site caretakers are helpful and friendly. We planned to explore the surrounding area but didn't actually leave the campsite & farm! We had six children with us aged from 5 to 9 and they had a fantastic time. The farm staff are very knowledgeable and the talks & demos were really engaging. Really happy with all aspects of our stay, we will definitely return.

Stayed here for one night when touring the area. The site is a big level field with a mix of hard standing, hook-up and basic grass pitches. We opted for basic grass pitch so we could be next to the goats that wandered in the next field. They offered a little amusement and kept the dogs busy watching them! The site was nice and open and our pitch pretty much had the sun all day.
The facilities were kept clean, however, they could probably do with additional toilets/showers as there were queues in the morning and the site was only about half full. There was a covered washing-up area which was also kept tidy and clean.
There was a nice sign posted trail walk around the farm of about 3 miles, and we were also given details of other local walks to the local pubs, which was good. The on-site shop stocked the basics. We didn't go in to the park, but it's right on the doorstep for those wanting to.

Had a 2 night stay here last month. It is a lovely well thought out site with excellent clean facilities. The wardens live on the site and when they are not available a park team member takes over. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The Farm Park itself is really well set out and informative with plenty of things for kids of all ages to see and do.

We stayed on the site for 6 nights during the Easter holidays, we had 3 children with us aged from 2 years to 11 years and they were never bored, in fact we hardly saw the older 2 during our stay. The site is relatively level with good sized pitches, we were fortunate to have booked 1 of the hard standing pitches as the ground was very soft and wet when we arrived with further rain forecast for Good Friday. The toilet and shower block was kept really clean through out our stay, I did hear a few people mention that there were insufficient shower cubicles at busy times, ( only 2 available). The staff were very friendly and informative, we were provided with an information leaflet detailing the local shops, pubs and some other attractions in the local area. The site has a small children's playground as you enter the camp site, this was used by many of the children on an evening after the main park had closed. Entry to the animal park is excellent value as when you purchase your first ticket that is valid for the whole duration of your stay, permitting you to go into the park as often as you wish. There was a lot to see during our stay in the park as it is the main lambing season, chicks and ducklings being born and various other young animals around, the appearance of Adam Henson during one of the lambing talks was a bonus. The whole experience was excellent and the grand children are looking forward to going back again next year.

This was a fantastic site. The children lived it, it was very clean and tidy. The site had great staff and facilities!
We arrived on a Sunday morning and were looked after very well. Thanks so much.
We will be back next year and bring some friends!
Next time we will go into the farm park. Within easy access to all the best places in the area!

We also had a tent.
4 adults, a 6year old & 7 month old.
Booked at a week notice to arrive BH Monday. Weather dire & ground very wet, so not much fun setting up. Laundry (drier) facilities would have been good for us. Freezer for ice packs good, though we didn't need it.
Short wait for washing up, but bearable. We didn't use showers, but didn't have to queue for toilets & washroom. As others have observed, no disabled access (a couple of steps & certainly the ladies would not accommodate a wheelchair in facilities). I was wary of the decking in the wet.
The weather put us off the play area, though we did play for a short time opposite our pitches.
Enjoyed the facility of going into the farm at the special rates.
Site shop appeared very limited.

Stayed for 5 nights as a surprise for my 10 year olds birthday. The site is pretty much level. We had grass EHU. Pitches are marked out by shallow gulleys in the grass which is fine but it you stay within the areas you end up pitching on mud when the previous occupants have only just left. Don't always want dead grass and mud in the awning! Facilities basic but serviceable. Definitely needs more than two cubicles and two showers. Disabled facilities would be nice. Not sure what previous reviewers were talking about when they said no play area as there is one at the entrance to the site, but it is out of site so not a great location. Great offer to enter park as many times as you like. We went in for 4 days and the last day we saw Adam Hensen. Really made the holiday for my daughter. On the whole, a very pleasurable stay. Even the donkeys in the field behind us didn't wake us up too many times, although this could be an issue if you are in a tent. Super location for exploring the whole of the Cotswolds. Take care with the water supply though. There is a drinking water tap at the entrance, which is fine, but the one labelled 'water' half way along the site is definitely NOT drinking water.

Very friendly welcome on arrival.
Pitches level and well spaced out. Some hard standing and hook-ups.
Attractive setting and lovely walks.
Lots to keep children interested.
Toilet and shower block clean but totally inadequate for the numbers. This has definitely put me off returning again. A shame.

Me and my family stayed for our first camping trip recently and we had a really good time. The wardens are very friendly and helpful. Our two boys loved the farm. There is a small playarea in the woodlands which you can access even when the farm itself is closed. Could be improved with adding a laundrette and perhaps extra toilets and showers. Overall an excellent site.
