As 2 OAPs we visited the site for 3 nights at the end of March, during the coldest days of the year. The site is good, fairly level on hard standings and at the time of our visit very quiet. We used the hook up without problems but it looked as if you may need a long lead on some pitches.
We didn't need to use disposal facilities but strangely they up a slope and quite exposed - not sure what it would be like on a windy day.
The toilets and showers were clean and I had no problem with hot water, background heating kept the building pleasant. However just 2 toilets & showers for a site of this size means we will never visit in the season. I was also surprised that there were no disabled facilities. There were steps up to the toilet/shower block.
If you have children of an appropriate age then the offer of only paying once for multiple visits to the farm park would be very good value but there is no on-site play area.
We were also confused by the rules that said you couldn't leave a dog alone in caravan etc. But nor could you take them into the farm park, not apparently the place to stay if you have a pet!
We didn't use the park café, if seemed a bit expensive and too early in the season to offer much. All the staff very helpful & friendly.

This is a lovely open site with a hedge on one side and open to the other with sheep, goats and donkeys in the next field. We stayed on a hardstanding pitch with electric which was spacious. The toilet/shower block was clean, although there were only 2 showers for ladies and 2 for men. The site was about quarter full when we visited, don't know if there would be queues when it is full. Visited the Farm park which was delightful, and you pay once if you are staying on the campsite and can visit as many times as you wish with the wristband. You just change it to the daily colour. The site is very peaceful and quiet at night, just the sounds of the animals. Our only negative about this site is that there is no motorhome service point, it is ok filling up with water with a hose-pipe, but there is no-where to empty the waste tank, so make sure you take a container to empty the waste into as the waste grids are not accessible with the vehicle. We stayed for 2 nights so that we could visit the Farm Park.

This is a superb site for families with young children. The pitches are nice and large with plenty of space in between. There are farm animals in the adjacent field and the farm park itself is very well done and great fun for all and you can go in as many times as you like throughout the duration of your stay for the price of one day's entry.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have said, there are not many showers for the size of the site (2 per gender) but I never had to queue.
We had a lovely stay and would very much recommend it.

We stop here last week.
On arrival we were met be very friendly staff, who showed us to our pitch. Which was a very large plot (we were on elec/grass) don't forget to take some blocks as the pitch does slope slightly.
Phone and airel signal wasn't to bad for those who need it.
The site is perfectly placed, with the view of the farm animals which was great for our children.
Everything was nice and clean. The only downside for us was the toilets/showers and the washing up facilities.
The showers there was only 2 which really wasn't enough for the amount of people who was there and the washing up there was only 2 sinks a bit of along wait.
Apart from that it was great the farm was right next door and it was good value for money when your staying there as you only pay the one admission fee which then entitles you to all your stay.
Overall we had a brilliant time kids loved it and we will be going back!

We stayed for a 3 night stay.
Pitch is ready marked out for you to easily to see where to put caravan/tent.
Pitch seemed quite level and reasonably spaced apart from others.
Greeted by Alex the warden who was really friendly and welcoming and was always ready to answer questions or give any advice.
Camp shop/reception sells limited supplies only.
Shower block/toilets were lovely and clean and always warm, however, the showers do spray a bit but they supply shower caps for this!
The campsite is adjacent to the farm park and we paid £29 for a family pass and this allowed us to re-enter as many times as we wanted during the whole of our stay which was good value.
The farm park itself was nice, more suited to younger children I think.
The workers on the farm were pleasant enough but not as talkative as they could have been and kind of reluctantly answered questions!
Children are able to bottle feed goats/lambs and hold rabbits, chicks and ducklings and we also watched shearing and milking.
We did not really try the restaurant on the farm park as the prices looked a bit steep to be honest!
A better play area on the actual camp site would be an improvement and we also suggested a kennel area for dogs to allow dog owners to also enter the park.
Will we go back?> Yes probably. I think they get booked up quickly though.

Had a fantastic long weekend over the bank holiday. Pitches are really well marked and spaced out.
The facilities were clean and always had warm water, my only gripe would be the showers only ran for what seemed about 30 seconds, and only 2 showers in both male and female blocks to serve 40 pitches so if you timed it wrong you had to wait.
Being able to pay for the farm park once and use this all weekend was an added bonus, our oldest 3. 5 years loved the tractor safari and the bouncy pillows.
Would have liked to have visited Stow on the Wold or Bourton on the Water but the children didn't want to stop playing, the joys of being a child but this gives us an excuse to return.
The wardens were fantastic nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us feed for the goats and donkies in the joining field.
My advice would be to anyone going make sure you take some warm clothes even though it was quite warm the site is 900 meters above see level and being a farm quite open and it was windy and cold at night.

Stayed for a weekend with friends.
Positives:
. Well marked out large pitches with space for cars alongside
. Friendly and helpful warden
. Shop with essential supplies
. Location - lovely walk into Upper Slaughter and or Bourton on the Water
Room for Improvement:
. Showers are frankly inadequate - 4 for 40 pitches [2 male and 2 female] on a sell out weekend meant long waiting times. When you could get one [6. 45am was a good time to try] they ran for around 20 seconds per push around half of which was warm/usable
. No control of late night noise - one group may only have been talking/laughing round their fire pit [thought they were not allowed here?] - but it went on until 1am in the morning and meant a disturbed night
The last thing which is no doubt seasonal and completely out of the control of the campsite is that there is a roost of several hundred rooks and jackdaws using the trees which border the camping field - great to see them diving in to roost at dusk less handy to hear them all leave when it got light at 4am :)

Stayed here for 2 nights. We were on pitch '0' which was a nice level hardstanding pitch surround bu our plot of grass. Electric and water both near by. Pitches were good sized. Although they weren't sectioned off, they was a large space between pitches. Walks were fantastic with dogs. Deff worth popping into the farm to meet the piglets and lambs. Good that you cna walk in/out as many times as you like during your stay once you have paid the one time.
We visited just before half term so site wasn't full. They had a shower block with 2 toilets and 2 showers. All in excellent condition, but I feel that this may suffer/you may have to queue in peak time. Could do with another shower block at the other end of the field
Wardens v friendly and helpful
Will deff return. (If you stay here, visit Bourton on the Water - beautiful village only 15mins drive away!)

I agree with all the other positive comments.
The site is well laid out and very clean. Showers are modern and clean. The on site shop has all the basics required.
The provision of somewhere to kennel the dogs whilst visiting the farm would be an advantage, however the on site dog walk is excellent, with the ability to go off site further to neighbouring villages providing a varied walking environment. We stayed for two nights in a very windy and wet half term (broke a pole)and would just like to say the site and especially the wardens are top class.
