We visited the Farm Park during the Easter holidays, and man it was cold and wet! The site is quite exposed and the wind, snow and rain howled around us. The ground was frozen overnight, and there wasn’t much break in the rain, story of the year!
However, that aside, the site was great. The kids loved the open space, and as it was so cold there were lots of open spaces to play in. There were good sized pitches and great views across the Cotswolds. The kids liked feeding the goats on the other side of the fence, and made some great friends.
The toilet block was a couple of Portakabins, but they were warm and clean if a little small. The staffs running it were friendly and there was a little shop on site.
The main benefit was the ability to buy a family ticket to access the Farm Park, and being able to re-enter as many times as you like during your visit. The kids were able to feed the animals, play in the parks, climb and bounce on the pillows!
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area such as Cirencester, Bourton on the Water and Chedworth roman villa. This is well worth a visit, when the weather is good!

We have just got back from a lovely weekend camping at Cotswold Farm Park. It was great to be able to camp right next to the farm and hear all the animals!
The site had a little shop selling basic things such as crisps and sausages. Pitches were allocated and they gave you plenty of room for your tent and car.
The shower/toilet blocks were excellent and very clean and well maintained. There were separate ladies and gents, each with 2 showers, 2 toilets and 4 washbasins. Even with quite a full campsite there was never any big queues for the facilities.
The blocks were regularly cleaned and all the campers were instructed to mop the showers after use to make sure they were always fresh for the next person. The blocks were kept warm and comfortable by heaters. A drinking water tap is located right outside the blocks.
There were a lot of children camping on the site due to it's location on the farm. This does make it quite noisy at times! Campers had unlimited entry to the farm park for the duration of their stay. Breakfast was served daily until 11. 30am in the farm restaurant. The only negative thing was that they did not have a vegetarian breakfast and the girl on the desk was not very good at coming up with something for a vegetarian!
The farm park is brilliant and a great day out. It is very educational for children and there is lots to see and do. We visited the farm twice during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great site and good base to visit the Cotswolds (Bourton on the Water, Stow etc)
Site wardens were lovely and always helpful, great shop with useful items stocked. 2 ladies toilets and 2 showers, same in the mens.
Always clean and never had to wait. Hot water always for washing up and kept spotless -
Whilst we were there they were building a wooden children's play area which looks good -
Would definitely return -
Adam Hensons farm next door is worth a visit - £26 for a family of 4 but you can return every day you are there

This is a lovely site with helpful wardens.
I'm sure in summer it is packed with children as the farm park would be great for them but if you prefer a more adult ratio then go in October (avoid the half term).
Doing the 1 mile walk around the farm is a great way to start the day.
The shower block was clean and the showers good.
There is a small shop open a couple of times a day.
There are lots of beautiful places only a short drive from the campsite.

One of the best! Very quiet while we were there and it got busier for the weekend but not excessively.
Well worth a visit and with the added advantage of the farm alongside the site. Could do with more showers/toilets when the site is full I would think - only 2 of each for men and women.
Very friendly people.
Good area but watch the prices in the pubs, The Plough at Ford has very good food and the prices are reasonable from the 'specials' board but the menu prices are mind numbing! On the whole most are good!

Stayed for two nights on the way back home from Moreton in the Marsh Caravan Club site. It is a pleasant and efficiently run site with nice clean facilities.
Having seen Adam’s rare breed farm on “Countryfile” it was a treat to see the well cared for animals in real life and enjoy the delightful informative walks around the farm. The sunsets were glorious on our stay.
Only one Hardstanding, all the rest are on grass at present and a limited number of hook ups.
Booking is a good idea during the busy summer season. Modern visitor facility adjacent with cafe and some home produced meats and bacon.

The Farm Park was the obvious attraction for two families with two under-fives each. Excellent savings for campers as once you've paid once you can visit the park as many times as you like during your stay. Our kids love the farm park and there are loads of different things to keep them entertained.
As for the site, we went in the middle of July and it was full. We didn't encounter any problems with the toilets/showers, clean and no queues etc.
The washing up area came with the added bonus of a bird's nest directly above the sink with the mum coming backwards and forwards feeding her hungry chicks on a regular basis!
No local pub so I called into Goffs Brewery on the way down (it's only about 8 miles away) and picked up an 18-pint barrel of their nice ale for just £25 - bargain!
Overall, a very good clean and friendly site and with the farm park next door, it's highly recommended. We'll be back!

This was our second visit and as a family of 4 (2 adults and an 8 yr old & 5 yr old) had a fantastic stay, fantastic weather and a fantastic site.
Great value for money £20 per night and £25 to get into farm park and ticket to farm lasts for your whole stay.
As we wanted to make the most of the weather on last day we parked our car and van in the overflow carpark and stayed till park closed.
The facilities were very nice and clean 2 showers & 2 toilets, the addition of wardens was a vast improvement, they were very helpful and polite. Also the addition of a small shop for essentials was useful also they now sell calor gas.
As we had 3 glorious days of sunshine did not leave the site.
Cannot recommend enough will be returning in the autumn.

We stayed at the farm pack from 9th-11th July. This was our first camping trip and it was such a lovely place we will definitely be going back.
The camping site was clean, well maintained and everyone including the warden and partner were very friendly and kept everything clean and tidy in the toilets and showers.
We paid to visit the farm park itself, its cost us £15 for 2 adults (our 2 year old was free), we were given wrist bands which lasted our stay at the camp site - so we didn't need to pay to re-enter throughout the 3 days.
The only noise on the site was from the animals on the farm - cows / sheep / goats etc.
You need to drive etc if you want to get around, the nearest pub is 3 miles but they do great food and drink.
The toilets, showers, water were all hot so no need to wory about being cold while washing. There was also a freezer for your freezer blocks and sinks for washing up.
At the weekend the cafe connected to the park does a breakfast for around £5 which was really nice. We also ate at the cafe in the afternoon and this tasted great also.
Would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of camping with small children!

Basic site, 2 toilets, 2 showers, 2 washing up sinks and basic provisions. Good size pitches.
Lovely wardens, helpful and accommodating.
Farm park a must for all ages, views from tower amazing. Tractor train ride with information from Adam very interesting.
Farm shop and cafe selling gifts and local produce, but no ingredients on the sausages or burgers, so being lactose intolerant didn't buy any.
Beautiful walks around the farm and surrounding area. Stow and Bourton quaint villages to visit and we found a cracking little pub in Kineton, The Halfway House, serving home cooked food.
There is nothing really for children to do on the site itself and we got a little fed up of the balls keep hitting our caravan.
There is a little wooded area at the back of the electric pitches but unfortunately no fence to stop children running in between the pitches, so it was very noisy with unsupervised children shouting.
This was the only negative to our stay.
We will definitely be visiting again but when the children are in school, we then may be able to hear the countryside.
