June 2005 Lovely site located amongst the rolling Devon Hills, just on the outskirts of Paignton. Very clean site, with good facilities.
Positives - Directed to pitch, Lovely WARM swimming pool lifeguard attended, caravan pitches are level, dated but plentiful showers, one of the best laundry facilities I have seen, good shop with a good range of goods including newspapers, entertainment in high season, cafe, takeaway and bar.
My parents stayed in a static caravan on site whilst we were there, and rated them as well! Nice play areas.
Negatives - Situated up a lane, which can get narrow in places, shop a little pricey for some things.

July 2004 Loved it ! Beautiful campsite in gorgeous Devon countryside. Everything you needed on the site. Very clean, good entertainment in evening for young and old, nice pool, good shop and take away. Definately recommend this site to everyone and we will be back this year!!!

May 2005 Excellent site. Very clean. Pitch upgraded free of charge due to our pitch allocated to someone else in error. Could not apologise enough for mix up. Very clean toilet/shower/washing facilities. Excellent food on site, well stocked & reasonably priced onsite shop. Very helpful staff. Good selection of entertainment for all ages. Without a doubt, one to visit again & again. This was my first visit, but am booking up to return again. (If you are in the lower field, then be warned, there is a cockrel in the neighbouring farm that wakes just before dawn but you get used to it quite quickly)
Cannot praise highly enough. Great site for families or adults alike

August 2004 This site just gets better each year we visit. You now get an escort to your pitch and the staff are so helpful. John the resident dj and kids entertainer is great...pop trivia for the grown ups, games like treasure hunt for the kids and up to date music for the teens. The swimming pool has 2 lifeguards and our eldest had some swimming lessons. We will definatley be back.

August 2004 Lovely site, stayed there 16th August for 5 nights (loads of rain!!)
Pitch sizes are ok, we were up in the top field on a fairly level pitch, but some pitches seemed to be quite slopey! 2 main shower blocks ok, toilets ok, washing up rooms ok. Heated outdoor pool was nice but not huge. Family area, bar, amusements. Amusements were positioned between the family area and main bar, so works well for the owners of the site! Shop was good with some good prices. Cafe ok for brekkies in the morning and take-away in the evening. Would have liked to have cooked ours more often, but rain put pay to that.
Overall a very nice site and would go there again. Hopefully to enjoy it more with sunshine!!!

August 2004 Sorry, not as enthusiastic as the last couple of reviews. I didn't think the toilets and washing area were up to much, certainly not that clean, although the showers were clean and had plenty of hot water. Also, the washing up area was alongside the toilets and sinks in the same block which I didn't think very appropriate. Site could be a little noisy both at day and night and we were quite a distance from the entertainment. The pool was lovely and warm, although very overcrowded at peak times. I don't think I would visit this site again.

August 2004 This is a lovely site in glorious country setting but only a short drive from paignton. Large pitches, two large shower blocks, seperate toilet blocks scattered around park. outdoor swimming pool, shop, cafe, adult bar and family bar with childrens entertainment in school holidays.
Well run site, toilets and showers cleaned regularly throughout the day. Staff very helpful and the prices for the high season very reasonable. all in all we had a first class holiday would recommend anyone to have a look and give it a try

If only all campsites were like this!
Great facilities, lots to do, plenty of local attractions AND they let me sing 5 songs on the Karaoke!!!
Kids still talk about it a year later! (the site that is, they try and forget my singing...)
As Herr Schwarzenegger says - "I'll be back!"

JULY 2004 What a great site, we were taken to our pitch on arrival, and had plenty of space. There is a small park for kids to play on, also a few others dotted around the park. Good toilets/shower block. Has a nice heated outdoor pool, great bar and some entertainment for kids in a seperate bar, also an amusement arcade. There is a shop on site which is cheap and had some good offers, there is also a handy cafe/takeaway.
Would definitely stay at this site again, its only a few miles from paignton. It cost us £11.50 to pitch a tent for the night in peak season with free outdoor pool, free entertainment and with the other facilities on site its a bargain and is well worth a look.

Aug 2003 Very impressed with the site and all of the facilities. Only moan was that some days the toilet blocks were in a bit of a state and the local hired help didn't seem too bothered, until the owner used to appear. However would go back again, as my young son loved the open spaces, pool and all the friends he made.
