Aug 03 This was our first time camping, and what fun we had. The staff were helpful and friendly and the shower blocks were clean. It gave such a good impression we are now converted and planning a return visit.

July 2003 Had a fantastic time, Children are welcome and site was clean and tidy only draw back was the small shop and the winds as camped high up in the top field. would go again but would want to pitch lower down in the valley.

august 2003 Excellent facilities for both adults and children, kids own room, games, disco's, karaoke, live music something everynight. On site shop was priced reasonable and not expensive like some. Cafe served excellent food, there were enough washrooms and toilets to use so meant no queues and were well maintained, best was outside swimming pool to cool off has we had brilliant weather.
We had a party of 9 adults and 11 children and we all said we would come again definatley as we really enjoyed ourselves

july 2003 an excellent site toilets and showers were always clean - the only draw back is that the main shower block in the lower field does not have lighting although the toilets and sinks do - so you need to shower while it is still light or take a lamp in with you - excellent value for money would reccomend it to anyone

Aug 2002 A very good & clean site.Lovely views from the top field but you need to arrive early to get a level pitch in this field as it gets very slopy.Pitches for electric hook ups are down in two lower fields which are level,(the touring field has a slight gradiant). There are plenty of shower/toilet blocks around all kept clean. In the top field there are two porta cabins for convenience.
The evening entertainment in high season is excellent, there`s a disco with games for the kids and live bands, kareoke, etc for adults.
The only drawback was the lack of ramps for pushchairs/wheelchairs as the entrance to the bars were up flights of stairs with no other access.

My Wife and family have visted as Tent Tourers on and off over the years since discovering this site in 1994.
The site has a nice bar in a converted barn, together with games facilities, kids made welcome with their own disco high season.
Showers are free and the blocks are very well maintained.
We can recommend this site to all tourers, there is also onsite statics for hire which we have yet to try, now that we have past the tenting stage.
6 miles from Paignton's centre with heaps to do and see all around. Very pleasant memories of holidays past.
