We loved the site for its cleanliness, friendliness, amazing team spirit everything from check in to check out was just superb.
I have never been in a friendlier bar than my local a credit to all concerned. All safety measures were in place.

Great campsite, love that it had lots of green spaces, amazing view from tent camp area.
Despite being close to busy Paignton/ Torquay area, totally serene and peaceful.
Only small criticism, is why does the caravan/ campervan area get super delux wash block(s), and tent people get tiny one( high standard of cleanliness however!)
The outdoor swimming pool was amazing!

It was a perfect countryside escape and a staycation after several months of lockdown.
It was my second ever caravan holiday and I am glad I choose this part of the country, close to Paignton and Torquay,
The people working on the site were welcoming and helpful.
There was a one way system to the entertainment areas and the music was good.
For groceries and other items there is Sainsbury 2 miles away.
The caravan itself was clean and had all the basic amenities to make life comfortable and cook your meals.

Upon arrival was met by a mature gentleman Mr Shannon (who gives a good first impression of the site) with his friendly jovial manner, who quickly located our pitch reference, and then another young man escorted to our pitch and explained where facility locations were and how to place the campervan on the pitch.
We found the number of showers, toilets, washing up facilities more than adequate even after the restrictions put in place for covid 19.
The restaurant had a restricted menu choice but the restaurant, bar, entertainment facilities were comfortable and clean.
The entertainment programme though very restricted due to covid was of a good standard, and performed by the sites resident company.

Stayed at Whitehill for 10 days july / august. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and escorted to our allocated pitch.
The pitch we were given was so sloping our awning didn't reach the ground at one end ! Got moved to another pitch which was much better but still a slight slope. The staff were beyond helpful and were always smiling. Brilliant !
Due to the pandemic the bar / pool / takeaway were run really well under the circumstances. Toilets were always kept clean. Would definitely return again but stay on another touring field.
Another small drawback was the road leading to the site was very narrow in places so novice towers would find this testing.

First week on site it was lovely, fairly quiet and very clean. Toilet block in Coombe meadow is in need of upgrade as quite dated, and the chemical toilet area needs to be knocked down and rebuilt!. Second week, site filled up, mostly caravans.
Many pitches have a slope especially in Sweethill so be careful when booking. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and were really trying to help and assist.
Bus stops outside the gate into paignton, or if you fancy a walk, Paignton and Goodrinton are an hours walk away.
Lots of dogs on site, and quite a few had some long barking sessions. Mostly quiet after 11pm, although a couple of groups did seem to stay up later, one even lighting a BBQ at 10:30pm!

Lucky to have great weather! Arrived to a friendly receptionist. Taken to plot which is nice. No electric but managed ok. Shame the large pitch was backing onto the road as the night noise meant I had to invest in ear plugs. Saying that we had a nice pitch while the units on the flattest part had no view and were more compacted.
Lovely family run site non-pretentious. Everyone so friendly. Kept to a high standard. Boys happy amazing pool and found friends. Shop was a disappointment more like a basic londis but luckily Sainsburys down the road. Not one for club entertainment but have to commend them on quality singers without screaming noise.
Plus 11pm no noise (one night gobby kids and family but that was it). Seagulls only problem so beware. Sadly the bins lacked recycling and brought mine home. Would be nice to see some effort. Not sure of my thoughts on the footprint of all the pizza and takeaway rubbish from the takeaway kiosk.
The roads are very busy and the endless traffic problems getting around was a let down for me. Struggled to cycle with the family due to the busy roads. The access to the site was a battle some days due to 2 way on single road.
We did a lot of exploring and adventures and this site is great for the easy access to the Riveria.
Will definitely return. Fingers crossed the site stays the same seen so many sites being greedy and losing the quality edge. There was something really comforting and pleasant about this site.

Lovely site with good facilities for the children. Great location and easy to find. Good sized pitches, great having the fire break in between ensuring plenty of room. Some of the pitches were quite sloping but ours were at the top of the field.
The toilets and showers were clean and plenty of hot water for the shower.
Lovely walk down to Stoke Gabriel and a warm dog shower to clean the dog off when we got back.
We saw security coming round to keep an eye on people, not that they were needed.
Will definitely be coming back here 👍

Lots to do on site and loved the outdoor pool and BBQ that night. Big pitch for the motorhome with plenty of room to reposition and a lovely spot under the trees.
This is a perfect place for families with lots to do and a safe place for the kids to run around and have adventures. The dog walking field is also secure and was great for our 2 spaniels.
