Great wee site £10 for non hook up. Right in the most beautiful beach.
Toilets ok. Ran out of toilet roll a few times (bring your own) for £10 a night great.
They have a tumble dryer but no washing machine. 🤨
£1 for a shower does 8 mins.

Brilliant location for touring with camper, the view was stunning.
Facilities were ok but seemed to be sheared with public using the beach.
I had to wait while none pitch users were in the shower.

The site was in a beautiful location, everything we'd hoped for. Had a pitch overlooking the beach - perfect.
No electric hook up there, our choice, but it gave us no issues.
Glad we chose to go without as the hook up area was a bit cramped we thought. Finn the campsite warden was extremely helpful and friendly.
Facilities were open, and there were well planned Covid precautions in place.
Towing a large caravan was a bit nail biting, but all went well with no mishaps.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Initially thought the pitches were very close together, and there was great difficulty in finding a flat area for the awning. However after initial frustration we fell in love with the place. What an amazing beach!
Basic but clean facilities.
Fin is a character and good for a blether.
When looking at overall satisfaction this has to be right up there with the location and excellent value for money. Even paying £1 for the shower this is exceptional value.
I guess if the pitches were level and larger the price would need to go up but I would happily pay at least another £5 per night for that!
Thank you for a lovely restful stay and we will be back!

Site is very close to the beach. We phoned a month ahead to book a EHU and when we arrived mid afternoon there was a cone with our name on it indicating our spot.
EHU pitches are on the small side and not very level. Site is not manned all day and Finn came around in the early evening to take our money.
Lots of empty caravans on site so looks much busier than it is. The empty vans are owned by locals who store them there.
Shower block is small but OK, and you need £1 coins for a shower. Nothing nearby so take all provisions with you.
Beautiful long beach to enjoy, and Reef Beach just a short drive/walk is great for surf.

Let's start with to he good stuff: the manager, Finn is a legend and a gent and the beach is amazing. The overall area is stunning although if you want out it's a fair trek each trip to the main road.
Now. The rest.
That photo showing a mostly empty site with a couple of tourers needs to be updated as the vast majority of the site has been taken over by permanently located vans, especially those enticing beach side pitches.
If you want a pitch with EHU, the choices are: next to the public loos or in an overcrowded 'bowl' where you have to come and go with the arrangement of your neighbours.
In our case the neighbours included parties who wanted to sit out drinking past midnight and another who had a baby requiring feeds during the night. That bowl turns into an echo chamber at night.
The news of the loos is mixed. The gents were adequately clean but the feral youths of the permanent vans seemed to be playing a game of how quickly they could nick the toilet paper each morning. There's also an unreasonably high bum to bowl ratio.
Overall, we won't be back and only stayed for 3 of the 5 nights we paid for.

Beautiful location, indeed outstanding
Few hardstanding pitches
Finn very helpful
Bins overflowing and rarely emptied
Campsite was full, and the toilets/bathrooms could not cope and this caused queues. Not really clean
Great food trailer nearby

Beautiful location on fabulous beach. Facilities were really clean and Covid safe.
Shower looked basic but was great ( take a £1 coin).
Apart from the amazing location, Fin (campsite manager) was a beautiful soul who entertained us with his box playing and Gaelic songs.
A night to remember.

The site was a bit messy and cramped. Facilities were basic but worked well. Strangely there was a tumble dryer but no washer.
The beach was beautiful and we really enjoyed the area. We did our laundry in Stornaway before we caught the ferry.
An excellent facility at Bridgend Centre

I liked everything about this site. The location is amazing with white sands and turquoise sea. It is remote but everywhere on Lewis/Harris is.
It is ideal if you are in a campervan as the winds can get a little frisky. There are toilet and shower facilities which are cleaned every day. Showers cost £1 but they are hot and long. A campervan cost £10 for two people. There is also a shop a few miles from the campsite which seemed well stocked.
Finn who collects money is often about, he is lovely and a real character. He informs you about the history of the area, local walks and things to see near the campsite. As I had booked Finn had reserved the most fantastic pitch for us where we watched the sunrise coming up over the sea through our back window in the morning. At night we would watch is set from our fire on the beach.
It doesn't have parks for children but they don't need one. Children were playing until late on the beach. There was also a lot of swimmers who braved the cold atlantic.
We did fall lucky with the weather and I expect in a tent in bad weather it may not be much fun.
