Amazing location though - be warned - the pitches with the great views do not yet have EHU. We were told that the intention is to add hook-ups to more pitches in due course but that parts required have been delayed. The EHU pitches are therefore sat further back and adjacent to the toilet block.
The block is OK but needs updating. It was a bit of a squeeze in May so I wouldn't want to be there in high season.
The site is a heck of a drive over to the north-west of Lewis (and the last bit is along narrow and steep roads), so not ideal if the idea is to go out every day.
If you're happy to stay put and enjoy the area and have the provisions to see you through, or don't mind driving long distances to see the sights, then it's well worth making the effort.
We couldn't get out in kayaks or onto boat trips (based locally) due to the awful weather - which was a real shame but nobody's fault. We hope to go back one day as we therefore have "unfinished business"!
Never saw the owners but the chap who dealt with new arrivals etc couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

The facilities were great; clean and enough to not have to wait for a shower.
We enjoyed the weather and even the grounds keeper, who had a lot of stories to tell.

The site is on the beach and therefore picks up whatever weather is going: we had good and bad.
It's pretty quiet in our limited experience. The beach is huge, so great for walks.
The facilities are basic but adequate and cleaned twice a day, so no problem there: could be issues when the site is very busy. The manager (Fin) keeps everything under control in a 'no fuss' manner and could be one of the highlights of the place.
There's a catering van next to the site but this wasn't open during our visit, so the nearest shop is at Uig (5 miles), a downside for some but pretty normal for the islands.

Great location with pitches overlooking the beach & islands if no ehu required.
The ehu pitches are lower down so don’t get the same views.
The facilities are a little bit dated but are clean, tidy & serviceable.

Fin the man who runs the site is lovely, welcoming and helpful.
The showers/toilets are basic but very clean.
We used EHU so parked back from the beach. Which is just so idyllic.
Wished we had stayed longer.

This is a splendid site; beautiful location, good facilities, excellent value, no fuss.
Booked using an enquiry through UKCampsite.co.uk (as didn't want to phone on a Sunday); quick, positive response, and turned up to find a beach-edge pitch reserved for us.

Great location with easy access to the beach.
They will have more electric hook ups with sea views next year hopefully.
Nothing fancy but does the job!

Wow! Our pitch had the best view over the white sands to the turquoise sea whatever the weather (which was mixed of course).
A fab place from which to explore Callanish, Uig, and loads of out of the way spots.
Fin answered emails promptly in the run up and was friendly and welcoming.
We are SO glad we chose this site and would recommend it. 😁

Best campsite we stayed at throughout our tour of the islands. Finn who runs the site is a real character and most welcoming.
The facilities where immaculate and the young man doing the cleaning is a credit to the community. The beach is stunning and our dog was in dog heaven.
The facilities were fine if a little dated and one suspects would struggle to cope when the campsite is busy. New Electric hook ups are currently being installed close to the beach.
Definitely on the radar for a return next year.

Fantastic location right beside a beautiful beach and emerald green water.
Facilities not great! Electric went off one evening for about 1hr or more for whole campsite!
Toilets fine and clean but shower I used I paid £1 for which started off luke warm then went boiling hot then freezing cold and continued this cycle constantly!
To top it all the water was just a trickle! Don’t waste your £1
