If you want Caravan Club layout organisation this site is not for you however it has everything you need and the location could not be bettered.
Fin looks after the place well.
They are looking to install more hook ups but struggling to find the equipment.
The beach on your doorstep is excellent and swimming is safe.

We stood on a nice gras pitch at the overflow field. It has everything you need and the showers at the campsite are very good.
The electric hook up was enough Amp so we could blow up our trailer tent.
We were very happy to have been here.
It’s a good starting point to see the Isle of Lewis.

Beautiful location. Older facilities but clean and well maintained.
Great site for kids and adults alike to play on the stunning beach.
Look forward to hook ups on the beach being added for a beachfront view.
Will definitely be back.

Fantastic site, great location for visiting other areas,
Manager really friendly and helpful. Great views.
Ave only taken one point off as the shower ran hot and cold.
Other than that, brilliant and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Isle of Lewis.

Once we had managed to find the site, and recovered from the narrow winding road, we were bewitched by the magic of the location.
The site is based at a beautiful bay surrounded by vibrant flower meadows.
We were awakened by the sound of bumble bees.
The facilities were clean and not too busy. The showers had curtains but no doors.
The pitches with electric hookup were furthest from the beach but we were glad to be sheltered from the wind by a bank.

Right next to a great beach to swim and enjoy.
Campsite has what you need and lots to see in the area for walks, swims, cycle rides.
Good local people helping run the site.

Fantastic position, right next to wonderful beach.
Slightly tricky steep narrow road in, but worth the effort.
Friendly staff, quick response to email booking.

Stunning location with amazing Machair. However we were in a tent and were put across the road with no beach view at all.
Facilities basic but manageable. No freezer for ice blocks or washing machine.
Unfortunately site full of families and large groups who wanted to party every night (latest I was woken by kids running around was 2am…)
Priority seems to be given to caravans and campervans who were all given views onto the amazing beach.
Summary - could be incredible with a bit more planning and consideration given to those of us in tents, as well as making clear to everyone that respectful campers should keep things quiet from 11pm
£20 for a tent in a field with no beach view and next to vans with generators seems steep!

Stunning location next to one of the best beaches we have ever seen. Contrary to what some others have said, we had an electric hook up. I think there is about 8 near the toilet block.
The block is a little bit basic. A couple more toilets would be helpful. The washing up facilities are good.
There are a couple of islands off shore which would be fantastic to explore for competent kayaker.
There was a northerly breeze and a couple of people were out having fun foiling and kite surfing.
The local area is stunning with great walks in the hills, cliff tops etc.
We can't wait to get back in the future.
