Beautiful location on a white sandy beach.
Amenities clean and basic. Showers are coin operated taking £1 at a time for 3 minutes.
The water in the ladies shower went from freezing cold to boiling hot and difficult to regulate. Also when the 3 minutes is over if you need longer you need to lean out of the shower to put more money in. Be aware if you put £2 in at beginning still only get 3 minutes.
The community shop on the main road is well stocked.

The location of this site is wonderful. Direct access to the splendid beach is great for the dogs.
Hookup area is too cramped but it should improve when the new ones are open, which I’m told is very soon. There is no campervan service point and the service block has too few cubicles and showers.
Friendly service from Fin the warden.
£25 pn inc hookup. Showers £1.
Very well stocked community shop about 5 miles away.
We enjoyed our time here and will return. The basic facilities did not detract from our stay.

The location of this campsite is absolutely superb. Right on the beach with amazing views and far from the hustle and bustle of normal life.
Fin was quick to respond to booking email and our pitch was right on the front which was beyond stunning.
The facilities at the site are very basic but were clean. There was no soap in the dispensers and dryer in the men’s was off. £1 gets you 3 minutes in the shower which is a rush.
Plenty of bins and recycling at the office and there are plug sockets in there too which was handy.
All that aside the view and location mean it’s stunning

Great location, right next to one of the best beaches around.
Facilities were okay.
Uig community shop was a fantastic find, better than many supermarkets around the islands.
Would love to be back at some point.

Excellent location, very beautiful beach, facilities are basic/functional/clean.
Finn, the caretaker is a very nice man and his response to our email was very quick.
Drive to campsite is breathtaking, such a beautiful landscape, rough and melancholic!
Beauty is in the details.

Fantastic site with great views of the beach.
Facilities are very basic and limited given the number of pitches.
If you want hook up then you will be in a cramped small area with not views or space best not to have EHU.

Wonderful spot right on the beach. A fair distance from anywhere. Take everything with you.
Helpful friendly manager.
No frills site, but adequate. Clean toilets and showers, dishwashing area.
Definite a site for folk who like doing outdoorsy stuff, and dog friendly site and beach. Clear water, no weed, popular with kayakers and swimmers.
No shop, no pub. Bliss! A freezer for cool box blocks would be a big help as impossible for campers to keep perishables long.
Only negative. I had an unwelcome visit from a rat at 1 am! Keep food sealed.

The location is remote and amazing. Location means going with caravans needs care.
Hook up spots are a little tight and just be aware these are not on the beach front, they’ve been waiting for those spots to be connected for a long time.
There is a basic toilet and washing up facility.
Don’t forget your pound coin for the shower 😁
Did I say, the location, is both remote and amazing. 😁
The site is right at the beach and it’s beautiful.
Site manager was friendly and helpful.
Worth visiting.
