Very nice site with easy access, although roads are quite small as you get near. Haven’t been here for many years but the owners have spent a lot of money on upgrading toilets/showers/washing up (which were spotless) and the inner access road.
The whole site is very well looked after and the warden is helpful. I suggested a non-slip mat to go into the shower tray and he said he would get on to it straightaway.
Many of the pitches are adjacent to the Mercury boatyard car park so there can be a bit of noise but at least the boat lift has gone!
There is a high chain link fence with a gate between the pitches and park, so you can walk to the marina and bar/restaurant (no dogs inside but seating out on the waterfront).
In the car park there is a track which goes off into the woods and follows the water. Hamble-le-Rice is a lovely little village with several good places to eat.

Beautiful small site with fabulously clean individual toilets & showers, Colin is very helpful. We took our paddle board & kayak & marina let us use their pontoon to enter water which was a 4/5 minute walk.
Marina bar/restaurant has fabulous views with lots of indoor & outdoor seating, took a trip to the Jolly Sailor pub which also has fab views & where Howard’s Way was filmed.
Hamble village is a 20 minute walk away & has lovely old pubs & restaurants too.

Very friendly greeting on arrival and discussion encouraged about which pitches would be the most comfortable given the hot sunny weather forecast.
Excellent toilet and shower block in a clean state. Lovely restaurant nearby overlooking the marina and a pleasant walk in to the village of Hamble. Weren't with children so unsure about child friendliness.
Spacious pitches. A lovely weekend stay.

It is a small and quite site with good clean facilities, good location with lots of accessible places to visit and explore.
I felt it was a bit expensive for what you got.

I have only used this site as a stopover for the ferry to the continent, but that doesn't really give it justice. It is a fabulous site with friendly / helpful staff.
It is reasonably close to the motorway for access and Tesco is close by. It is a very peaceful site beside the river.
The toilet facilities are immaculate.
I would recommend this site.

Lovely quiet ish site very well maintained good layout if I go with kids then the paddock is best suited for us as we do make a little noise, but this time we stayed on the main field and it was just as nice,
And the toilet block is always spotless even on aug bank hols when we stayed, I used the toilet twice and saw the cleaner twice.
With the volume of people there it wasn’t a surprise, but it was pleasant to see they were prepared,
I have been to this site for over ten years and it’s a pleasure to see it grow over time but still keep it’s quality and tranquillity, I will be back 👍

I stopped here for a n overnight en route for the ferry to Spain. A pleasant site and helpful staff. As it was midweek, the site was very quiet and the shower \ toilets had no access issues. The facilities are kept very clean and the pitches are very tidy.
The access is a bit 'strange' but google map before arrival and everything is fine.
I would recommend this site and would definitely return.
