Nice well kept site, reasonably priced. Good showers and washroom, kept very clean.
Very pleasant and obliging owners.
It's a simple site with no frills but is none the worse for that.
It's out of the way and quiet.
I would happily use it again.

We spent 3 nights at sea view campsite. We had an electric hook up pitch. They are very spacious. Stunning view of the sea as the site name suggests.
Facilities were spotless. Cleaned on a regular basis. We had a small dog so the 11 acres of dog exercise area are perfect to let him off the lead.
Well situated to walk into slapton village for a pint or 2.
We will definitely be returning in the future.

Very spacious with clean facilities regularly cleaned. Fridge and freezer very handy. Lots of space. Lovely views.
30 min walk to the seaside. Great location for base for South Hams.
Due to covid booking essential for any outings or pubs but coast walks and ice creams still easy.
Would happily book again.

Perfect location for a short stay to visit family in Dartmouth over a bank holiday weekend.
The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome after a long journey and detour because of road works.
The campsite is a short drive to Slapton Sands beach, has a lovely dog walking area and good clean facilities.
We will be back for another stay!
Anyone going for the first time - Make sure you follow instructions on the website or use ‘what 3 words’ to get there to save yourselves a headache after a long journey.

The campsite was wonderful - a spectacular location, friendly helpful host, and a lovely spacious chilled atmosphere.
We didn't use the facilities as we brought our own so can't comment on them.
We plan to return :)

Great site we stayed there for 2 weeks
Gill and joe are always on hand
Whilst we were there we were hit by 2 big storm with tents being flatened ect gill and joe could not have been more helpful.
The showers take 20p
The toilets were spot less
If towing the lane for getting there can be tight in places do not come via slapton village you will get stuck ( we saw someone)follow the instruction on the website.
I look forward to taking a group back there soon

Fabulous place, amazing views, very clean toilets and showers.
Really nice owner.
The only downside are the tight lanes around the site.
Will definitely return

'Sea View' is a beautiful quiet, basic campsite, high up above Slapton Ley overlooking the sea in the distance. You can see the light from the lighthouse at night.
Suitable if you prefer simplistic camping, with the benefit of electric points. There are no hard standings and a limit to the number of caravans allowed
If you want playgrounds, shops or a clubhouse this is not for you! You make your own entertainment!
Dogs are allowed under control and kept on leads with two large fields available for dog walking and 'off the leash time'.
Toilets, showers, kitchen, fridge freezers, disposal points and bins are very clean, well maintained and all 'Covid' aware.
The owners/managers, Jill and Jeff are hardworking, friendly, honest and helpful, but take no nonsense! Pricing is good.
The small village of Slapton is just down the road with a village shop and 2 child friendly quaint pubs, or you can go into Dartmouth or Kingsbridge for larger stores.
There are plenty of pub/restaurants all around South Hams and lots of places of interest to visit and explore, leaflets are available on the campsite.
Slapton village is not suitable for caravans to go through, as, like a lot of Devon's narrow lanes, lots of giving way is required!
Beaches are mostly stone, slate and shingle, with occasional sand patches. Slapton Ley is a long beach with a fresh water lake opposite, a site of natural beauty, wonder and history (the D-Day landing was practised here with a disastrous outcome)!
We love this campsite and return year after year.

This was our first visit to Devon and we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.
The campsite was huge overlooking at relaxing fields as well a beautiful sea view. The facilities at any time of the day were spotless.
The owners: Gill & Joe super friendly. We will definitely go back to this very pleasant campsite.
Ps: I would suggest to consider a children’s play area.
