Lane to get to location is very narrow so if you are not confident in towing I would not book this site
The owner is very pleasant and happy to help
A great sea view and plenty of room for you

We have really enjoyed our stay in this fabulous part of Devon. We received a very friendly welcome from Gill. It was the first trip out post lockdown so very special.
The campsite is just what we like, a simple farm cs. Sea views and surroundings countryside are fantastic.
Good sanitsing practice in place.
Much quieter locally. Which is nice. We were under the impression that this was just a cs. Site, but they also have a large field for hook up and none hook up camping, which would make it quite a big site in normal times. We were glad to be here, and glad they were running at 50% capacity.
We probably wouldn't come in high season otherwise.
Gorgeous area, Dartmouth and salcombe nearby and great walks on s w coast path. Very dog friendly.

First campsite post Covid 19. Roads in are narrow so don’t drive through Slapton. Paid in advance so no money handover. Shop not surprisingly shut but no issues for us. Facilities spotless and regularly cleaned.
Field flat but it really is windy up there so you pay for the view. Would benefit from a few more hedges to shield the wind and neighbours. We came home on the last day to find a van parked directly facing us. A wire fence isn’t enough to split a Pitch. Showers 20p for 5mins. God value and great temperature.
The pub is under a mile away but get your walking boots on to get back up the hill. It’s steep! marvellous fish & chips in the tower pub and a few good pints in the queens arms.
Slapton beach just about walkable distance if you don’t have kids. Shingle beach and quite steep.
Great costal walks from the doorstep.
Coping really well with the new regulations and limiting pitches.
Have scored child friendliness but I can’t really comment on that. There is no play area if that’s what you’re after but there is a huge field to play games, it’s safe and off the road.

Fabulous site. Amazing views. Relatively quiet regarding number of campers, which felt good at this time.
Meticulously clean showers, sinks, basins, taps etc.
Friendly and welcoming owners.
Very well mown grass. Everything suited us perfectly.
We will return again for another stay.

We just got back after our Devon holiday at Sea view campsite. The site is a lovely rural site with a beautiful view to the sea. The pitch we stayed on was huge by far the biggest pitch we’ve ever been on and as we have a massive tent this was great.
The toilets and showers are basic but are cleaned regularly to a good standard. The kitchen area is great it’s got 4 sinks a fridge a separate freezer for freezer blocks, so no charge for freezing your blocks like other sites. It also has a microwave!
The site owners Gill and Joe are always available really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The site is a 10 minute drive to Slapton sands which is a shingle beach but is lovely. Dartmouth is about a 20 minute drive along the very scenic coast road, but be prepared the roads are very small and take some getting used to(but after all you are in Devon).
Kingsbridge and Totnes are similar distances from the site. We visited Dartmouth castle which was beautiful. Also try the Kingswear castle paddle steamer it’s the only surviving one in the UK and was awesome. The Steam train to Paignton is also a great trip.
We’ve stopped on many sites over the years and this rates as one of the best, I would definitely recommend it and I will be staying again when we holiday in this area. Just brilliant.

Recommend this site, clean toilets and showers operated with 20 pence coins. Good kitchen facilities with a fridge and freezer.
Small on-site shop is a bonus and friendly owners. If you have children there is plenty of space for kids to play.

Just had two night stay at Sea view Campsite. Would have liked to have stopped much longer but only went for weekend Kayak trip on River Dart, but will definitely return in future for another stay.
Great site with a lovely view of the sea in the distance, all expected facilities kept nice and clean Showers ( 20p six minutes ) separate male and female and toilet blocks. Dishwashing area with microwave, fridge and freezer a cupboard with things that can be loaned for stay and local information notice board map and leaflets. At reception they sell milk and some provisions.
Electric / non electric pitches for Tents, camper vans, caravans and an static mobile home for rental.
This is a lovely camp site with friendly informative owners, great for couples and families with plenty of room for children to run around and play safely. Close to Dartmouth and local holiday facilities i. E. Woodlands/ Blackpool sands.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at 'Sea View' campsite which could have easily been a 1 night stay after our tent developed irreparable leaks in 2 of it's 3 air-beams. While packing to come home, Gill, one of the owners, came by and offered us the use of a tent for the rest of our stay, which her husband, Joe, came and put up for us.
The site is quiet and peaceful and the facilities are cleaned regularly with spot cleaning as required. Showers are clean, hot and cheap (20p for 6 minutes)
Every attention to detail is given including a 'borrow' cupboard for the essential equipment you may have forgotten.
Their friendliness, kindness and generosity made this site a 10 for us. We will return.
