Excellently managed site.
Spotless facilities.
Gorgeous village and beaches.
Bus routes from Slapton to Dartmouth and surrounding areas.
Lots of hills but the views and pubs are with it!
Walkers paradise 👍
Little shop and pubs have varied opening times but so welcoming and such a friendly atmosphere.
Will definitely be back…

Showers and toilets clean and tidy plenty of hot water
A lot of traffic noise as we were sited next to the road.
The approach to the site off main road is 4+ miles of narrow lane with not many passing places when towing a caravan,
Site well kept but a bit too far out for us
Hosts very friendly

Nice well kept site with plenty of space and great views out to sea.
Facilities are clean and there's a fridge, freezer (for freezing ice packs only), microwave and borrow cupboard for use during your stay.
Great showers costing 20p for 5 minutes which doesn't sound like long but is ample. Cubicles are spacious and fitted with hooks for hanging clothes.
The only slight negative is that the basin push taps cut off immediately so you can only wash one hand at a time unless you put the plug in!
On a separate note, just be aware that to get to the beach is down a big hill. Great going down but not so coming back up if you're cycling or walking.

For us, this is a perfect campsite. Basic facilities which are kept very clean, include showers, toilets, washing up area, large fridge and freezer.
There is also a dog exercise area and kids playing field. You can easily walk into the village of Slapton and further down to the beach but be warned…. It’s a steep walk back up !
The village itself is very pretty but not suitable for large vehicles. There is a village shop but apart from that you need to travel to Dartmouth or Kingsbridge for supplies.
We had a scorching week and the sea and beach were amazing. Look out for the seal that visits every evening.
If you want proper camping then this site is perfect and we thoroughly recommend it

What a beautiful campsite this is. Firstly, the hosts Gill and Joe could not have been more accommodating.
The pitches are large and the whole vibe of the site is incredibly peaceful.
Immaculate facilities which are cleaned regularly. Beautiful sea view to chill out to for a few days and local facilities within easy reach. Do take note of access instructions however.
I had a wonderful stay with my 2 dogs and Gill and Joe kindly pitched me next to my brother and his wife.
The night skies are amazing but rarely saw them as in the middle of June I was generally in bed before it got dark !
Thanks so much Gill and Joe for a wonderfully relaxing stay

This is a good sized quiet site with large pitches. It is not perfectly level so "adjustment" may be required.
All facilities are good and well cleaned. Drinking water points were observed to be sanitized every day. The Gents toilet has 4 cubicles but the Ladies only 2. There was another door towards the Kitchen area for Ladies but the door was locked. It may be because the site was still quiet that this one was not open yet.
Showers are clean and a good size. 20p for 5 mins. Why not get your money's worth and shower together! We did and there was still a min or so left on the timer!
The site has 19 main pitches with a further field for "rallies" I understand.
The walk down into Slapton Village is steep. The village community shop is only open mornings and is also the other side of the village so, a long and challenging walk if you intend to get supplies from there.
The Queens Arms pub in the village is closed on Mondays and the Tower Inn, is only open Thursday to Saturday. We did eat in the Queens Arms one evening and it was busy - and noisy inside. Food was good though.
Despite the steep road, we did walk all the way down to Slapton sands and along to Torcross, had a good lunch in the Start Bay Inn, before walking all the way back - 6. 4 miles round trip.

Our first time camping and Sea View was the perfect place to start.
Great facilities, very clean toilets and showers. Kitchen with fridge and freezer was really useful.
Owners were very friendly and super helpful.
Great views from the site. Slapton beach is a short drive and Slapton village with a couple of nice pubs and village shop is about 1 mile away.
Nearby Blackpool Sands is stunning.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.
