Fantastic location just a few minutes walk from endless walking on Dartmoor.

A very well laid out site, with well laid out, spacious private pitches.

Used the on-site restaurant once and it was truly excellent. Great menu, reasonable prices and friendly service.

The site is peaceful with facilities nearby.

The only thing stopping me giving 10/10 is the fact that the hot water isn’t that hot, certainly not for washing up. The showers are clean and modern with a fantastic cubicle available which has toilet, shower and sink all in one, however, the showers are push button set temperature which was barely hot enough and takes time to get up to temperature.

Overall a great site and one I would certainly return to.

We had a 4 night mini break over the bank holiday weekend. 2 teens, a 5 year old, my husband and myself.

The welcome was warm and the complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits was well received.

The caravan was clean, tidy and well presented. Everything we needed was supplied.

The campsite itself was well maintained and very tidy.

We were very taken with the chickens who strutted about and liked to sneak into the caravan when they thought no one was watching!

Langstone Manor campsite is a very peaceful and picturesque location. We highly recommend it!

 Very pleased with the site.

Well signposted and alternative route to satnav was a very good idea!

Warm welcome, excellent facilities.

Toilet emptying site the best we've seen!

They even lent us some rock pegs and it was very windy!

Will probably be back.

Probably the best site we have ever stayed at as regards of quietness, clean and tidy well informed pleasant staff, nice restaurant with good quality food.

But the only downside we had were Saturday night went in for a meal and there was one lady who had a dog on her lap we ordered our meal and then in came a couple with two dogs, then another couple with two dogs, in all the total of dogs was ten that came and went. Not what you expect in a food establishment. Note I have nothing against dogs I've owned them myself but it did spoil the enjoyment of the restaurant.

The staff is the best. Very helpful and always time for tips on where to go. Well maintained camping with large pitches with or without electric hookup.

Toilets and showers really clean. No. Busy or noisy road nearby and only the sound of animals when you wake up or go to sleep. Only 400 meters from the moors where you can have endless walks.

A ten minute drive from lovely Tavistock with its beautiful Market. Many beautiful villages nearby with good food and drinks in the many Inns and restaurants.

The campsite for nature lovers and people that like quietness and tranquillity.

This was a real treat for a rural retreat!

What a fantastic gem of a find this place is! We went with a 1 night stay from a Buyagift voucher and were completely shocked at the quality of the facilities.

The staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. We had no idea how good the shower and toilet facilities would be but this is by far the tidiest and cleanest camping facilities I have ever come across.

We also did not expect the on site restaurant and bar where the experience continued to be great. The food was in my opinion not overpriced, locally sourced and very tasty.

We stayed in a comfortable pod that boasted plug sockets, usb charge points and even a TV!

Loved our stay and so did our dog, and we can't wait to book and go back

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant where if you book a table in the conservatory you can watch the sun go down

, short roping walks of the Moors. Lovely little shop and Mark and Jackie just couldn’t do enough for us x shall be back for sure x

A fantastic site. Warden were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We were on pitch 40 hard standing with a small hedge surrounding us. The toilet and shower block were spotless and hot.

If you have a dog (we don’t) they are also well catered for with a dog shower. The views were lovely with Pew Tor and Dartmoor behind us and the Devon countryside in the other direction.

There is a small quiet bar and restaurant on site which also does takeaway.

We stayed 8 night and although we were hit by the storm there was plenty to do in the area on wet and windy days with Tavistock/ Plymouth/ Dartmoor Prison museum/ national trust houses etc only a short drive away.

The site is on the western edge of Dartmoor and we spent many days hiking and bagging Tors.

The landscape is dramatic and there are many ancient sites scattered around full of myth and legions.

You won’t be disappointed

Spur of the moment booking which was a brilliant experience.

Friendly staff, great food, amazing location.

We stayed in a basic pod which had the added luxury of a tv.

We will definitely return.

Warm welcome, fantastic views from a site within walking distance of Dartmoor, facilities clean and modern.

Nice on-site bar/restaurant with some interesting menu choices and friendly staff.
