Great site. Easy access to the coast-to-coast cycle path and to the moors.
On site restaurant we had steak and it was a very good portion could’ve done with a starter and a better pudding selection but was reasonably priced
The overall site was clean, the staff are brilliant, lovely location, very good value for money
Is in my top 10 sites to visit again
The weather was not kind but still managed to get out and do things, great cycle to Plymouth
Shop was not very well stocked but had the essentials
Very narrow road to get to but we managed it okay in our campervan and they also let us on the site before I designated time which I thought was very very kind of them
Will definitely visit again thank you so much Langston Manor.
A few more water points around the site would’ve been helpful but we managed okay with what was available.

We found Langstone Manor Caravan & camping Park one of the best sites we have stayed on.
The staff were welcoming & helpful & all the notices were polite & positive.
All the facilities & outside areas were very clean & tidy & the restaurant provided excellent meals. The pitches were large & nicely divided by small hedges.
Covid regulations were followed & the system of plastic ducks in a bucket of Milton, labelled either "toilet" or "shower" were an ingenious (& amusing) way of helping this.
Dogs were very welcome & the site provided easy access on to the moors for walks.
We are keen to return sometime!

Stayed for 2 nights, we received a warm greeting on arrival and was shown the campsite by the really friendly and helpful reception staff.
The site was clean and the facilities were excellent with Covid measurements in place.
There was a shop on site and a restaurant.
The location was beautiful.
I would definitely recommend this site.

We stayed for one night in a camping pod which was fantastic we ate at the on site restaurant the food was outstanding and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Dave greeted my partner when we first arrived and personally shown him around the site taking care in not only where everything was but explaining all the relevant Covid safety measures.
The shower rooms and toilets were immaculately clean as well over all a brilliant site and v well run with brilliant staff
We wish we could have stayed for more than one night but will definitely be returning again in the future
Would highly recommend this hidden gem

Lovely site. Great access to Dartmoor and Tavistock.
Amazing views from the camping ground. Passionate and professional staff.
Covid restrictions meant that the value for money was impacted.

What was good:
- the site is well located for exploring Dartmoor
- communication with the site before arrival was good, including my request for a sunny pitch (based on other reviews for the site)
- we had a nice friendly welcome on arrival with all the facilities and Covid measures fully explained.
- Good facilities - we particularly valued the ability to charge electical items in a locker as we don't use EHU.
- The number of showers and toilets were enough to mean we didn't have to wait - although it is not clear if the site was full how adequate the number of handbasins would be.
What wasn't so good:
We had a takeaway on the night we arrived and it was very disappointing. The pizzas were overpriced for what they were (I've had better quality frozen pizzas) and I would not recommend them. We did not eat there again - which is a shame as having something on site it really helpful when camping.
I would have found it helpful to have been told that during our stay a neighbouring pitch was booked for a Duke of Edinburgh group. By its nature this type of group makes a lot of noise (including the leaders up until late playing cards) and it took us a while to work out what was going on.
I think that the site would benefit from separating those camping in tents and those in motorhomes. The height of the motorhomes has a big impact when they pitch next to you (which happened on our last night when we found our lovely view replaced by a motorhome window) and they can move off very early in the morning (a van moved off a pitch close by at 6am one morning). This was made worse by the fact that there were a row of pitches opposite us that were not in use at all when the campervan was allocated the pitch next to us.
Also be aware that if you have a reasonably large tent, that the room to park the car on the pitch is very limited.
Overall it is a good site and I can see that it will work for many people. We had a nice stay and at the same time it confirmed our preference for a more rough and ready approach to camping and so will look for those type of sites in the future.

Beautiful location of campsite with a handy shop and bar on site. The stay was incredibly peaceful.
Only criticisms would be the COVID regulations that had been put in place were a bit flawed and unhygienic taking a duck token into the toilets to then return it for someone else to collect.
It would have also been nice to not have to pay for charging points and plug sockets.

We had a pod as a present. All I can say is super location. Super staff. Clean and good facilities. Dog happy. Quiet.
All you could ever want. Did not take any children but facilities looked good.
Thanks to all

This site was recommended to us as we had previously stayed on a site quite close and visited Tavistock. We booked for three nights and this site proved to be our TOP SITE in the ones we have visited in the uk.
The weather was kind and Literally being on Dartmoor we walked from our Motorhome daily, it’s quiet lots of birds and wonderful surrounding countryside, and a great position for a site with a short walk up the lane to the amazing Dartmoor.
We had a very chilled stay, we highly recommend this beautiful well kept and peaceful camping park.

What a lovely site, Anne was very friendly and informative, fresh croissant and bread offered on arrival for next day.
Facilities not open due to Covid restrictions. Pitch had fantastic views.
Being allowed to park on day we left for a morning walk was really helpful.
First site found on Dartmoor where you can walk and be on the moor in 5 minutes, fabulous!
