My wife & I had booked a Big Cat Experience at Dartmoor Zoo & thought we'd try the Glamping experience as a place to stay nearby. As it was our first time in this county staying within Dartmoor was a bonus.
Let's start with the welcome, absolutely superb. It was such a warm welcome & we really got all the info we needed on the MegaPod & the site-10/10.
The MegaPod itself, well that was a very pleasant surprise. Immaculately clean & I couldn't find fault with anything. It does what it says on the tin, bringing your own bedding/cooking utensils is a great idea. 10/10.
The site and the washing/showering facilities was also immaculately clean, throughout the day and night. Lovely warm & spacious showers. The grounds were lovely & well kempt, again 10/10.
The on site restaurant/pub was brilliant & again the staff made all the difference. Always wearing a smile & ready to help.
We ate there on both nights & can honestly say the food was outstanding, I'm 50 & never tasted sticky toffee pudding as good. The beers & ales were great, with lots to choose from, again 10/10.
It's a 7 hour drive for us, but I really do intend on visiting again.

Our second visit to Langstone Manor on Dartmoor, three nights stay with nearly perfect weather.
For us it’s a perfect break away, a really well run tidy site with spacious flat pitches, overlooking gorgeous countryside and a short walk up the lane to the wonderful countryside of the moor.
We were going to eat in the Motorhome but with a restaurant and bar on site, it proved to be a better option, with a reasonably priced menu.
As for the shower and toilet facilities, I have never see cleaner and well thought out units and joy to use.
Altogether a 10/10 site for walking and enjoying Dartmoor
We’ll be back.

Excellent site. Access to the Moors is gained by a short walk up a lane and the town of Tavistock can also be reached on foot via quiet lanes (2. 5 miles).
We were greeted by a very pleasant couple who took the time to give us a guided tour of the facilities and then show us to our pitch.
The toilets/ showers were up there amongst the cleanest and best I’ve seen.
Fresh Bread can be ordered and we ate a meal in the restaurant that was also first class.
Very enjoyable visit, well done team.

Great campsite for a relaxing break. The site is well managed, staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about walks within the area and the wildlife in the area.
Toilets and showers as well as all the facilities are spotlessly clean. The site has a restaurant which also will organise takeaways if you wished. You can also purchase freshly baked bread on a daily basis each morning, brilliant to go with the free range eggs!
Langstone Manor is also dog friendly and even provides ‘poo’ bags at the gate before going off to the moor, where you can find a number of fabulous walks such as Pew Tor or Vixen Tor and views over the moor.
Certainly a camp site for all ages who prefer a quiet, relaxing break on a site which is located within Dartmoor and easy reach of the nearest town of Tavistock, a lovely market town.

Just returned from a two night stay in a Mega Pod with our two children (10 & 6) and friends in a neighbouring pod with two children (6 & 4).
The booking experience was great, the site staff were helpful and accommodating. We also received a very warm and informative welcome when we arrived.
Taking the time to give guests a tour of the site and demonstration of some of the features of the pod was really helpful.
The site itself is very well maintained and the shared facilities are lovely. Showers are lovely and warmth! The Mega Pod is compact and bijou but offers everything you need from a glamping experience.
Such a bonus to have your own toilet and sink, particularly with children! The site is well located and within easy reach if popular destinations like Princetown, Postbridge and Burrarator reservoir.
We had a lovely time and are already looking to return. Thank you!

Arrived after a long drive to a friendly welcome and a brief tour of the well laid-out facilities. The member of staff was very considerate and as there were young children, helpfully offered to relocate us to a pod which was nearer the toilets.
The whole site felt very safe for young children and on the rare occasion we did see cars, they were always driven slowly and carefully.
We ate two evening meals on site and there was a good variety of food and healthy options on both the children’s and the adults menus. The meals were tasty and well cooked; restaurant staff were kind and wore masks the whole time.
The staff recommended a walk up to the local tor (around 20-30 minutes round trip) which ended up being the highlight of our visit…we did this twice as the children enjoyed it so much. We also visited the Eden Project- about an hours drive away- which was a great day out.
The whole visit was fantastic- an absolute gem of a campsite.

This campsite is great. The staff are very welcoming and there's a great chilled vibe.
Facilities are immaculate, and looked very newly furbished. Shop sells the essentials and fresh croissants for breakfast.
There is also a bar and restaurant on site, but we didn't use this. If you like good food, the organic pub at Merrivale, a couple of miles away, is excellent.
The location couldn't be better. Away from all roads, it is extremely peaceful, with lovely views to the valley and also up to Pew Tor.
The site is 250m from the edge of the moors, and from there you'll find lovely walks galore.
We will be back!

We have just arrived home after two amazing nights away here! We were brought a gift voucher - and I’m sooo glad to know this little gem exists!
Beautiful walks, chickens always came to say hello in the morning or whenever they could smell the food cooking!
Will definitely be returning, staff so friendly and polite! Accommodation was beautiful and clean, and like wise for all the facilities that are on site!
Gutted to be home after such a lovely peaceful weekend away! Can’t wait to book again! Thankyou
