 Beautiful site with immaculate facilities.

We stayed in a pod which was very cosy and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location is absolutely stunning a perfect place to stay and explore Dartmoor.

Thoroughly recommend this site to anyone.

Fantastic location, it was so dark and so quiet.

Really peaceful and really relaxing.

Up on the moors so easily and quickly; around a 5 minute drive.

Great hospitality, lovely and clean.

Lovely site, great facilities, toilet/shower block open 24hrs, waste and rubbish area, children's play park, lovely on site restaurant very friendly and food was great.

Site staff very friendly and helpful, gave us a tour when we arrived and made sure we were settled before leaving us to enjoy our stay.

Stayed one night in a glamping pod was a gift voucher from family, glad we had it, pod was warm and cosy, had small oil filled heater to keep us warm, electric sockets and a TV, sofa that was a small double, plenty of room for us and our dog, could have taken an extra bed to take the children but we didn't this time, but would definitely visit again, most likely with our caravan now we know it has pitches.

Lovely area to walk locally, about and hour across the Moor to Tavistock or go right out of the lane and up to the tor with beautiful views.

Would definitely recommend this site to anyone wanting a getway for a young family or couples who enjoy walking, lovely animals to see on the Moor, who as long as you keep a safe distance and don't spook them are lovely for the children to see, cows, sheep and ponies or those that just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Tavistock is easily reached back across the Moor about 15 minutes in the car where the town has plenty to offer, pubs, shops, cinema, swimming pool etc.

My partner and I, plus our dog spent two nights here in a pod and it was amazing.

Each pod has its own area and parking space - all very secluded and private.

Our pod was more than adequate having a sofa bed, heater and a TV.

The toilet and shower block facilities are very clean. We had our evening meal and drinks at the Manor the first night which was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The whole area is clean and well presented and ALL the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful.

Will definitely be going back.

What a surprise! Right on the edge of Dartmoor and a hidden gem. The site is large but doesn't look it. The glamping pods are discrete and secluded and the static vans are likewise not over emphasised. Office is open late and they even have a restaurant.

We stayed on a grass pitch with optional hookup. Facilities were very well maintained and the Site Team are very welcoming and friendly.

Access is via narrow, but not scarey, tarmac roads but don't follow Google from the A30 south; instead read the directions on their website. Google Maps doesn't seem to care about the width of your vehicle. Our Ducatto SatNav has a Goods Vehicle setting which stops you going on very small routes unless you are stuck but does have the disadvantage of always thinking we are speeding.

One final comment. There is a reasonable Vodafone 4G signal ! WiFi is also available but at a charge but fair enough. They have multiple transmitters around the site to maintain.

Some of the hills are very steep on a bike. But then it is Dartmoor!

We really enjoyed our visit, site has everything to offer even takeaways from the restaurant.

Facilities are first class and attention to detail is excellent, we were in the walled garden which was very quiet.

Would very much recommend this site and one last thought the staff were always pleasant and always around to give their advice.

Wow, what a lovely, peaceful and friendly site.

Breath talking walks on the doorstep.

Amazingly clean and spacious flat pitches.

We will definitely be returning when we need a few nights away from the city.

Lovely campsite, super friendly staff as we arrived and good sized plot.

We opted for a hard standing as it was a busy BH weekend and that's all that was left. No issues with the tent though.

Facilities are very nice and clean. Enough for the kids to do, plus you can always take a walk to Pew tor, about 30 mins from the site.

Would highly recommend.

We originally came to this site in a caravan and had wonderful memories with friends.

Now we are two (often) nothing has changed with our little VW camper.

Super friendly staff, well managed site and increasingly eco and nature friendly.

Tavvy is nearby for food, but the on site food is well priced and delicious!
