We contacted Wicks when we found the farmer's fields we wanted to camp in were waterlogged. The site was closed for the winter, but the shop was open.
The staff were very welcoming and let us stay on the hard standing for the night - very peaceful as we were the only ones there. Lovely site with beautiful scenery/ walks/ birds nearby.
It would be full of campers when open, so not suitable if you want a quiet field. Lots of facilities including washing and well stocked shop.
Thank you for making us so welcome.

Just returned after four days at Wick Farm. A delightful stay, quiet site with lots of lovely and varied walks.
Many along coastal path, through woodlands. Just suited us and the dog.
Good facilities, free showers and hair dryer in ladies. Roomy pitches. Bus stop very near for visiting Chichester or East Wittering.
Will return.

Managed to get a four day slot late August 2015. We have heard great feedback from friends and we were not disappointed. It is a lovely campsite.
The kids loved it. Within minutes they were mingling with the other children. Very clean campsite and clean showers, wash up area etc. Good sized pitch.
Great location as you can walk or cycle to the beach and shops. We will be back for a longer stay next year. The kids give it a 10*.
They really enjoyed the 'Olympics' that were organised and all the children took part.
Great old fashioned fun.

Stayed a few nights here in early July in order to explore this corner of Sussex. Site is well located to allow you to walk to the Witterings and Itchenor (for ferry to Bosham which was another good walk), so we left our campervan parked on site for the whole time. Very relaxing site, excellent facilities and very well looked after. The camping field is level and well screened. Would definitely go again.

Like many Lands End to John O Groats cyclists I stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of my ride across Britain. The site is well located for the town and also the station for getting back to Inverness. You can here the trains, but there are only 4 per day. ! It also borders the river which offers a lovely route in to town. The site itself is well kept, totally litter free and well manicured. There is a section of very flat, well kept grass specifically for tents to pitch on. The facilities were always clean and tidy and there was abundant hot water. I have read previous reviews about the ablutions being a little crammed. I'm 6 foot 2 inches and 14 stone. I found them a little 'snug' but perfectly fine. I would offset any negative comment about them with the fact that they are very clean, well kept and there is abundant hot water. The warden is very friendly and gives everyone a map of the town with various facilities marked on it, which I thought was a great idea. I finished my ride to John O Groats and retired to Weatherspoons for the afternoon, which I can recommend, and slept soundly after 13 days in the saddle and five pints of lager. Excellent value at £8 per night.

As I am currently touring the south coast, finding a good camp site is a bit hit and miss. I called reception mid afternoon to see if they had a slot for my large camper; yes, excellent.
On arrival, I was given excellent instruction by staff, who are all helpful and friendly. I was given a hard standing pitch, although I was told I could go anywhere that was free if I wanted!
The site is very well maintained, it looks superb. I chose to stay here 2 nights. Great decision. The toilets / showers / laundry and washing up areas are all spotless, but the site is fairly empty - however on chatting with someone else here, they had a busy weekend, and was still very clean and tidy.
Reception give a detailed walk route guide, which is helpful - I walked to west wittering, with a baby in a carry / rucksack affair, it took me about 35 minutes and well worth the trip.
I happened upon this place by chance; I would come here time and time again. There is also a small kitchen area - I used the microwave, as I have an 11 month child with me, and this was exceptionally helpful.
I'll be leaving tomorrow - almost tempted to stay another night, if they'll have me. Definitely recommended, and I'll 100% be back here.

We arrived early evening and were shown to a lovely spot right near the dog walk over the fields, as my husband had told the young man at reception we had two dogs with us. He told us how to walk across the fields, which were very well signposted walks, to the nearest pub and the harbour which was really lovely. He also said we would have the sun in the morning and he was right, it was beautiful to have breakfast in the sunshine. It was very quiet as the season hadn't really started so we had the field to ourselves apart from two other motorhomes, bliss! The toilets and showers were very nice, clean and lovely hot water in the showers, also a hairdryer. Washing up facilities also very good. Didn't get to the beach as we really only used the site as a stopover on our way from Devon back to Suffolk. All in all a very nice site and can recommend it.

We have stayed on this site on various occasions & always found it a clean friendly site in a lovely area, ideal for families.
In April we tried one of the camping pods for 2 nights. Great idea for a short break with no hassle of putting up a tent. Perfect when the evenings are still a bit chilly. Perfectly adequate for a family of 4 who like to spend time outside. Reasonably priced.
The site is child friendly & is perfect for young families. It is Great for country walks, cycling & perfect for going to the local beach by car or cycling

Just returned from our second visit to this excellent site. The location is perfect, handy for the beaches of Sussex, and also close to the beautiful city of Chichester. The staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful. The site is always tidy and the facilities spotless, the pitches are large, and all have power hookups. Definitely will return.
