First time staying here for us, we had 3 tents but could not be next to each other but were not to far away as its a small site, The site is lovely with plenty of walks straight of it which was great for our dog. Toilets were clean showers could do with a mop as sand and dirt were left in, Although the ball park shut at 9pm the children then came and played on the campsite which made it very noisy until 10. 30pm and they were running around everyones tents so if you don't like noisy kids this is not the site for you. Also after we had set up our tent we were told to move it about 2ft as we were not quite in the right place yet we saw many gazebo's up right next to other peoples tents with cooking stoves in them which was rather confusing, although loved the site itself not sure would stay there again as to many kids taking over the site who were there for the summer holidays.

Wicks Farm is a lovely camp site, amenities are all very clean. The showers are fantastic and nice and warm. We stayed here 17-19th May and was lucky to have fab weather. The site has a separate children's play area and a large space for ball games which included a Basket ball net and table tennis.
We stayed in one of the new pods, and we all loved it. It was very clean and spacious. The pod has lighting and four plug sockets. The pod has two single beds and one double beds. We found the beds to be quite comfy.
All in all a wonderful site in a lovely location.

When we arrived it was misty and very dull. The lady on reception was very helpful and boy is that shop well stocked with everything you could need and more. Pretty much a camping shop on site.
We had the choice of so many pitches, as we were the only ones on the field we were given - hardstanding and level with water points close by.
The pub, albeit in the weather we had, was a short car ride 3/4mins, poss walkable, but there is no pavement.
Toilet were clean although felt it was at the end of the season, as the lights were off and heating off, so it had to be switched on before using - however that isnt an issue.
We used the site as a route into Chichester and isnt a long drive.
Price wise £21 including electric, which was about average for the week. There were more sporty facilities on the other site but the weather didn't make it appeaking to go and have a walk around. I'm sure for a family it would be ideal.
Would I stay here again - Yes if I was in the area, but not a destination site for me.
Value for money - average for the week

Visited for 3 nights to kick start our camping season, it was lovely during the day but VERY cold over night, thank fully the shop had a well equipped shop and a good supply of heaters for sale. We paid extra for a plug-in bollard, great little invention!
Facilities clean and tidy, daughter loved the playground. Cycled from the site to the beach :0) Only down side was one dog owner had let their dog foul and not cleaned it up, once reported it was very swiftly dealt with. It has made me think about selecting sites that do not allow dogs however, esp with lots of children about.
All in all very good and would return.

We stayed here for 4 nights in August, so were able to book ahead. It's a small site with tourers and a few statics.
We had a good pitch fairly near the amenities and playground. There was a bit of noise from the playground during the day but it stopped well before the 9pm curfew. The toilets and showers were great, I would have liked access to a mop for the showers as there was often sand left behind. The shop stocked mainly caravan and camping parts with a few basics- I think I would prefer to see a bit more choice. There was a few supermarkets in East Wittering. The fridges you could hire looked good, if large, we didn't bother for 4 days but I would recommend if it meant you could save room in the car.
The playground and sandpit was ideal for the smaller ones and there was also a playing field more suitable for older children. Lots of children also rode their bikes around so you have to be careful driving.
We didn't feel the love for the site at first, as it just felt a bit too busy but it grew on us and we could see why many families said they kept coming back. We visited West Wittering beach, which is more ideal for younger children as the tide is going out, Chichester and Hollycombe steam collection.

A superb family site. We have 5 children and they have thoroughly enjoyed the sand playground and the ball park, which we have had some great family games.
The facilities including the toilets, showers, laundrette, washing up facilities where all exceptional. Constantly cleaned and didn't have any situations of running out of toilet roll!
The staff that we encountered at the shop where all extremely helpful, with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. The site as a whole was small, relaxed and perfect for a family holiday.
Our children's ages range from 3-17 years old. We preferred to go to east wittering beach as it was a lot easier to access. A astronomical fee for car parking on west withering beach, and walking from the site, being 2. 5 miles was not really an option.
Bikes are recommended, although there is road cycling involved.

This site grew on us and we are planning to return next year. We used the site to visit West Wittering beach with our three young children and we cycled to the beach each day. The first part of the ride was delightful on an off road cycle way straight from the campsite through countryside. Unfortunately this track ends and you have to join the road on a fairly blind bend. Otherwise cycling worked well. Even with small kids we covered the 2. 5mile ride in no more than 30mins.
The facilities on site were good. The showers were very clean and we never had to wait. However they could not be adjusted and were too hot and powerful for my toddler who hated them. A family/ baby bath would have been useful. Everything else was great and well thought out including a free hair dryer in the shower block, generously sized washing up sinks, a launderette, fridges for hire and very nice play areas.
One small criticism is that we really weren't welcomed at all on arrival. The young man on reception just started listing costs and telling us how to pitch our tent without so much as a smile or a simple hello. A little more friendliness would have been nice. However the rest of our stay was lovely and we ended our trip happy and planning to return.

Great Site. The surrounding area is lovely, great for cycling and looking at wild life. Birds especially.
Facilities are good, plentiful and quite clean. Good children's playground, plenty of children on site, got a bit noisy at times.
Late night noise was a bit of a problem, warden could have been a bit stricter about it or perhaps parents should have stopped children running around at mid-night!
Will probably return

I and Alex spent a weekend in Stubcroft farm, on 22 ans 23 Jun '12. I have a very positive review of this place. We did not walk through the entire farm, but we walked through the East and West Wittering beaches and videotaped the sea.
The farm is nice as it is set on huge grounds with animals around and a bit of walking to do. The rate was £16 per night, and we shared a camping area with many other people and families so we were not alone.
There are lots of toilets and washbasins all over which is great-you can keep clean. The showers were also hot clean and nice. There is a little shop for essentials and unless you pay you don't have electric to charge your mobile which you have to do walking into town.
There is firewood available on sale and you can barbeque also. The restaurant at the beach is closed on Sundays and so is all the sail surfing activity but we had breakfast on the beach Saturday.
Buses cost a bit more in Chichester but planned correctly this will be a good and inexpensive holiday

Overall this is an excellent site. Very helpful owner and staff, clean throughout, great facilities for families too. Pitches are a good size and most are sheltered by dense hedge at site boundary.
Good level walks from the site especially out of the back of the site though West Wittering is not an easy jaunt. Loads of good things in the area - esp Blandford Forum Roman Palace.
There's a decent shop where you can get pretty well all camping needs. Just a bit expensive I thought - even more-so for a family I guess.
Pretty good dark skies for astronomy too!
