Had a wonderful long weekend here with my sister and family. It was a well run site, very, very clean showers and toilets. Lovely hot water. The site was smart and looked like the owners took great care in making their visitors feel welcome. Excellent shop and very helpful staff. Only downfall is the dish washing area, not very good drainage, but it was very clean. Local attractions nearby with the beach at West Wittering and a pleasant cycle away. Children's park kept the little ones entertained. Just a shame we could not get the bank holiday weekend in at the end of May. Will definitely be back again.

A lovely quiet, well-maintained site within a couple of minutes' drive of the beach at West Wittering. The site is nicely level and very sheltered from the wind by mature trees and hedges. There's a great kids' play area, and the facilities are all modern and very clean. There's a small shop on-site, and a petrol station & Spar mini-mart / off licence about 5 minutes' drive away. The staff were very friendly and helpful- and we'd definitely visit again.

Just spent a very pleasant weekend at this campsite as recommended by the good people of this forum. We can highly recommend it. About 40 tent pitches split into three areas and all appeared to have electric hookup. One main area for families and two side areas one that appeared to be kept for kid free groups. Facilities housed in one main block included dishwashing area, laundrette, showers and seperate toilets. All areas were very clean and modern. The showers in particular were superb, being both hot and powerful. Nice big sandpit for the young kids with another big area for ball games (two goals), volleyball and swings. Lovely walks in local area and can highly recommend the Black Horse on the main road to the campsite. Big menu, top food and big garden/play area for kids.

We have just returned from Wicks Farm, it is an absolutely lovely site and we have booked to go again in a couple of weeks. The pitch was ample for our 8 berth tent and car. The facilities were very clean and tidy with hot powerful showers available at no extra charge. We had an electric hook up on our pitch and hired a small fridge for £1.50 a night. The play field was fantastic for the children with a football net, basketball net, table tennis table and badminton net, our children were over there constantly with their new found friends. The site is also excellent for the children to ride around on their bikes. There is a big sand pit area with slide etc, my daughter had endless hours of playing fun in the very soft sand. The on-site shop has all the basic things you need and the things they didn't have could be found in the nearby village, Tesco's etc. Overall a great site, especially for families.

I was at Wicks Farm for a long weekend with my partner and our friends who go there for 2 weeks every year and it was a fantastic site. The pitches were set out and ample size for a tent, gazebo and car. There were around 5 showers in each make and female block which were kept really clean and spotless toilets. The site seems to be popular with families, with the site becoming quite quiet after about 10 pm. There is a play area for kids with a sand pit and our friends saw hide nor hair of their little girl who made friends and spent most of her time in the play area. The site was clean, friendly and close to East Wittering village and the lovely sandy beach at West Wittering which was surprisingly quiet for July. We would definitely go back.

Have just spent 5 nights at this fab site, we will definitely come back again. Friendly helpful staff and good facilities. There are several public rights of way leading from the campsite which are really well maintained, if you enjoy walking these are a treat to use and most looked suitable for an all terrain buggy. My only niggle would be that while the pitches are nice and big, they are not marked off in any way. We had a few incidents with small children squeezing through our guy ropes for no apparent reason, small hedges usually discourage kids from wandering about that close to other peoples tents. Having said that, it was school holidays so the site was full, so we probably wouldn't have the same problem out of holiday time. All in all a really good site.

Absolutely fab site, nice level pitch, the kids loved the play area all that sand. The staff are all very helpful, even when you pitch wrong and use up two pitches just said not to worry. Everyone really considerate. Will definitely be going again, only next time will look where the light is.

July 2005 A really lovely quiet site - lovely hot showers, clean, kids loved the play area and the ball area. Only two minor niggles - the pitches are very close together so it can feel a bit squashed and also they need to sort out the washing up area - the drainage is terrible. But they are only small niggles - its a lovely site, helpful staff - will be going again (hopefully without the 48 hours of rain this time!)

May 2005 First camping trip this year and a great choice of site, squeezed in on spec and stayed two nights. Kids loved the sand pit and play area pitches were level and behind huge hedges that kept the breeze at bay, our tent was easily in one of the best spots and many of the campers were long time visitors of ten years or more! Showers were clean and regularly checked and the shop was well stocked. Close to the beach and friendly staff made all the difference. Well done!

July 2004 Very crowded - each tent just 10 feet apart- too crowded for our liking. So many people meant it was quite noisy. The facilities were OK but probably not enough of them for so many people. The play area was great though. Our children didn't like to leave it!
