Friendly and helpful, excellent facilities, very clean and tidy site.
Slightly noisy with proximity to road.
We couldn’t find the entrance to the mere next door however which was a shame.

The staff at Willowmere were super friendly, approachable and helpful.
The grounds and toilet/shower block were nice, clean and tidy, however I didn’t use the showers so cannot comment on that facility.
They have a beautiful little lake area where we saw some people were fishing.
They’re located not too far from the town centre in, only around a 5 minute drive away, but still out of the way enough from the busier areas.
We didn’t have the kids with us on this occasion, but I would be comfortable taking them there.
The atmosphere here was overall welcoming and peaceful - would definitely stay again.

When we arrived nobody in reception so we could book in and pay a person just shouted over a fence to just pull on site so we did, although they knew we were arriving on that day, never saw anybody in reception the whole 2 days we were there, even wen we left we ended up having to pay someone else for our stay as the owner was still nowhere to be found!
It states on their website bus stops outside the site, we had planned to get bus into Sudbury and couldn't even find a bus stop nearby
There is supposed to be a nice off road walk down to the river ideal for dog walking but could not find it! As there was never anybody in the office we were unable to find out
The brook inn pub wasn't serving food, and it's down a road with no footpath
The site itself was tidy and the toilet. Showers were clean but would not stay there again

Was reading the reviews but it appears some reviewers are just moaning keyboard warriors.
Easy camping site, no frills, no harassing staff that are down to earth and not money per camper driven!
Toilets are immaculate and appeared to be checked on a rota system.
Don’t expect strobe lights and the clubhouse groovy gang style park like parkdean but for under £30. 00 a night bank holiday against £50. 00 locally elsewhere.

Lovely site, helpful staff who were very accommodating.
Facilities were first class and will definitely return later in the summer.
Very clean and well kept, nicely set out so could either keep yourself to yourself or join in with other campers.

Site has an area for static lodges and also a separate touring field, on one side of the touring field there are about 8 caravans that are permanently sited and looks very scruffy.
Facilities bit dated but kept clean
Main reason for visit was to do the parkrun at Great Cornard on the Saturday morning.
Had a nice walk along the river into Sudbury, walk up to The Kings head pub, cross over to the mill Arts centre, then you can walk along the river.
Also, virtually opposite the site is a little lane that crosses the railway, through the fields, over a little wooden bridge, brings you to The Henney Swan pub.
No pathway for a while once you've left the site, very busy road, so not the safest.
Ok for a weekend away.

Quiet site, facilities acceptable but not kept very clean.
Did not see any staff on site during our stay.
Location is reasonable but difficult to see traffic on exit.

Excellent site, fantastic value for money, clean, tidy, facilities are a pleasure to use.
About 2 miles from local village, ideal for lots of different local produce.
2nd time here, will definitely use again when in this area & would highly recommend to others.

Unfortunately booked this site as stated fishing and good dog walks.
I feel neither of these apply small pond unfishable and nearest dog walk car drive away due to busy road and no pathway.
Small site that was fairly packed over bank holiday not a lot of space between pitches well maintained grounds and showers amongst the best we have seen.
Not a bad site nor a site we feel we would remember

The toilet and shower area and laundry area was clean and modern.
Bin area also tidy.
Plenty of seating to enjoy the quiet area near the pond.
Very friendly clientele, some who regularly visit.
As a non power tent visitor the area I was used was spacious and flat but no shade which this summer would have been preferable.
