A huge site, but limited spaces for campervans / motorhomes so it's worth booking ahead. These pitches are near facilities so site doesn't feel it's size! Still lots of play space, including elaborate climbing frame frame that was in full use within minutes of children arriving on Friday evening. Wonderful views, and great tent pitches near to the sea, with individual 'garden' areas. Rocky beach accessible from site and coastal path can be accessed from the site.

A small glimpse of heaven
Oh wow where do we start? We've just come back from a 4 night stay and can honestly say this is the best camping experience I've ever had!
I'd read on other reviews that the road down to the site is very right and yeah it is, however the site owners have done their upmost to limit the chances of meeting someone coming the other way by 2 hour windows between vans leaving and new arrivals booking in ( 12 o'clock leaving and 2 o'clock booking in slots) so don't worry too much about the road it's fine.
As you drive down to the site the first thing you'll notice is how well kept all the hedges, plants and lawn edging areas are.
After booking in we were escorted through the site by one of the staff who pointed out all the various facilities and then SET OUR CARAVAN UP! Don't get me wrong I'm more than capable of doing this for myself but what a nice touch having a helping hand.
The camping field is pristine, well marked out pitches, plenty of fresh water taps and ample hook-up points.
If you like a busy site with a massive club house with cheep bears and a lively disco then. This really isn't the place for you. However if your after a peaceful family site where your children can run and play for hours this site is a must. The views are in my opinion some of the best in Wales. The showers are free with plenty of hot water and the radio is on all the time ( nice touch)
There are loads of staff around the site all the time who are very friendly.
To sum things up this is a 10/10 site that you couldn't improve.

We have just got back spending two days at this lovely park. The location is stunning added to the fact the weather was the best I have seen for a Bank Holiday. The sunsets were absolutely stunning.
Access is a little challenging down narrow lanes and grateful for the advice given. It is important to listen to the instructions staff give on access and you should be ok for a non eventful journey in.
Reception was helpful with keys given to access the shower/toilets which were clean considering the site was fairly busy. The park is very well kept and the walk to the stony beach was good exercise, just need to be aware of steps down towards this. Not for those who have physical disabilities or pushchairs.
The pitch was on gravel and we were able to fit on easily an awning if needed or a couple of pop ups if needed.
The only downside was that the pool was not heated whilst there. Fortunately, the weather was good though initially a bit cold for a swim. This was the selling point, so was a little disappointed.
This is an excellent spot in fine weather, although be aware as you are near to coast, if in a tent you are exposed and winds can get up.
We would definitely come back.

This is the second time we have stayed here, it was very quiet both times which we prefer, stunning views out to sea and Aberystwyth town in the distance, good dog walking facilities with the beach not to far away if a bit rocky, good showers and toilet facility with a children's social room and play area, there is a outdoor pool but opens in May weather permitting, also did see a wild badger in the night which you don't see often, staff very friendly which is a plus for any site. The lane is a bit narrow with passing places but the site have a two hour window between incoming and outgoing so you shouldn't meet too many coming the opposite way

The campsite is in a beautiful location. It has the most wonderful views. The facilities are spotless and playing music in the bathrooms is a great idea! The herb garden is a thoughtful and inspired touch as are the nature walks. We didn't use the outdoor pool but were reassured by other guests that despite the cool weather that the pool was fabulously warm.

We arrived latish on a Friday evening about 9pm, we had received a call from the site asking if we were on our way, not sure if that was to see if we were close by or actually still coming!
Still very friendly lady when we arrived, got a pitch right by showerblock/toilet, which I was concerned about being noisy with people up and down all night. Needn't have worried it was so peaceful! Beautifully kept site, outdoor swimming pool, flower beds and picnic tables. The pitches were of a great size with EH plenty of room for us to have our bbq, table and chairs out without being pushed up against neighbouring campers.
There are a lot of statics as well as tent pitches and campervan/motorhome pitches. Showers/toilets were so clean and never a queue, Showers free as well as hairdryers. You get a key for the ladies and the gents so if you are a distance away from the block try not to forget the key! Also have music playing 24 hours in the bathrooms which is a nice touch, especially if you have a problem using public toilets etc
Recreation room on site, didn't use it but there are sofas and a pool table. Also a shop selling the basics like milk, bacon and eggs but surprisingly very few soft drinks and no crisp/sweets/chocolate or snacky type stuff which I found strange.
There places to dispose of waste and do your recycling, be aware the road into the site is very narrow and you feel like you are never going to get there, you will!
We were overlooking Cardigan Bay, breathtaking views and lovely walks along the beach about a 10 minute walk. The steps down to the beach are step and the beach itself is very rocky. Great for rockpooling during the day.
We went to aberystwth one day which was scorching hot unlike the day before where we got caught in a downpour on the beach. Still you expect bad weather when you go camping
I will say it was constantly windy due to being so close to the sea and I can only imagine tent dwellers might find it really noisy but we didn't notice it apart from trying to get the bbq going haha.
I would definitely go back here, great spot, great views and friendly staff.

Just spent 5 nights. The views are out of this world, but the site is exposed. We had some strong winds which buffeted the caravan and our porch awning, which kept us awake most of the night. The site is accessed via a single track road, but you are advised not to arrive before 2pm, so as to not meet an outgoing caravan. The facilities are excellent and clean. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool. All staff are friendly and you are helped with pitching, which you will need. There are seasonal pitches behind and the site came to life at the weekend, when they became occupied. There is a very small shop attached to reception, but doesn't stock much. There are no shops or pubs within walking distance. Aberystwyth is about 6 miles away. We found pubs close by, which served good quality food. I wouldn't recommend site for tents as it is too exposed in high winds. No problem in normal weather. The site does offer tents the facility to pay nightly, so if it does turn nasty you can leave. Our Niece abandoned their tent at 1am, because of high winds, which kept her 10 month old baby awake and they went into her parents caravan. The beach is stony and access is down steps from the site.

We have just returned from a weekend at Morfa Bychan. It was only our second camping holiday, and we arrived and set up our tent on pitch with gorgeous sea views.
The ground was very hard. A mallet and a lot of determination was needed to get all the pegs in.
The heated swimming pool was lovely, and all the facilities were clean and of a good standard.
Only a 5 minute walk to the sea front. Beach large pebbles and rocks. Perfect for rock pooling.
The second night we were there was very windy, and as the pitch was very exposed, we had a sleepless night whilst our tent took a severe battering. We have learnt a valuable lesson and would prefer cover from the elements opposed to the view.
We started packing up at 4. 30am, and just before 6am when the new wardens awoke they came to help us with the tent as the wind was still severe (thank you!).
Lovely site, however, tents need (a lot) more shelter!

The camp is perfectly situated and the facilities are excellent, we all loved the site and would not hesitate to stay again, all in all a very memorable stay at Morfa Bychan
