Stayed here for 4 nights. This is a lovely site with friendly and helpful staff.

Things we liked:

The views are absolutely glorious.

Toilet block warm and cleaned regularly.

Surrounded by unspoilt countryside.

Handy little site shop.

Good facilities for dogs.

Pool is nice, clean and warm.

Coastal path is on your doorstep for (hilly) walks. Keep dogs on lead, sheep everywhere.

Aberystwyth only 10 mins drive away, 3 miles.

Not much to complain about but you must take into account the wind. Obviously this is no fault of the sites management. You are pitched on top of a cliff quite near to the cliff edge. There is no shelter from the wind which is often quite fierce. Try not to let this put you off as it is well worth a visit. Oh and no pub within walking distance.

Really does not live up to the glossy website. Tent pitches right at the edge of the site, lovely views over the sea, but no shelter from wind on all three sides, and a distinctive slope:-)

A fair old walk to the toilet block, which was in no doubt, pristine, but if you had forgotten your key, to enter the locked area, that contained the loo's, sinks & showers, it was a fair old walk there and back.

All the lists telling you 'what not to do' was very off-putting, and we found the site to be soulless, and very regimented. Definitely not a return visit for these usually 'happy campers'

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay and will return again soon!

We phoned ahead to enquire about arriving a little early (10am). Given the narrow nature of the entrance drive, this could've been difficult.

However, we were were welcomed over the phone and upon arrival. We had a great sea view and received help with pitching on the gently sloping site from the attentive staff, who seemed very well organised.

The washroom was lovely and the on site shop was very useful. Aberystwyth is only 10minutes or so away in the car.

We could not fault this lovely, welcoming site.

Spent a couple of nights at this site whilst mountain biking at the nearby Nant yr Arian. Just stumbled across it. What a find! Stunning sea views and lovely clean and tidy site. Staff very attentive. Nice hot showers and secure toilet block. Lanes leading to site are a little narrow though, but well worth it.

Aber only a 3 mile walk and Nant yr Arian about 20 mins away. Beach accessible from site, but is mainly rocky so ok if you like that sort of thing. Excellent facilities for dogs. Great exercise area at bottom of the site which is large enough and totally fenced off. Site laid out so all have a good view of the coast. Wardens excellent and constantly monitoring site. If you like mountain biking, just north of Nant yr Arian is another MTB base with a 19km XC ride.

Great site. Will definitely be back.

A site with no faults, all the staff highly welcoming/helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean in all areas and grounds being improved weekly. Stayed here for a season April to Sept, fantastic views over cardigan bay sunsets to die for.

Aberystwyth within walking distance approx 3miles along coastal path with further fantastic views. Easy access to rocky/part sandy beach good dog walk on site.

The dedication and hard work of all the staff is reflected in a truly clean and well maintained site thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spent a couple of night's here on our way to North Wales. Wish we had stayed put great site, level pitch, hardstanding, fully serviced, lovely pool heated, very clean.

Toilet block very clean, there is a shop with a little choice and newspaper by order.I fished the beach but you have to be a good angler to avoid the rocks suggest weight lifters.

Only downside, cliff edge great for the view but the wind was scary but overall ten out of ten after all the wardens cant do anything about mother nature. Oh one more thing the lane leading to the camp is narrow beware when travelling down there.

I did not realise when I enquired about this site through e mail, that it was run by the caravan and camping club.On arrival we were booked in no problem even though wardens here did not know about e mail to head office.

What a lovely site this is, every little last detail has been thought about, paper towels by washing up sinks in case you forget your tea towel so you have at least something to dry your hands on.Laundry with decent token machines, handwash sink, dryers and little fridge for ice packs.

Everything was spotlessly clean from the bin compounds to the toilets.

The site staff are pleasant from the off and I think this rubs off on the customers as everyone speaks, making the site nice to stay on.

The site it self steeps toward the sea on a slight slope, so you have to find out how to pitch on your spot which you are guided to.

The wind is an issue here so if you have a decent set up and know how to pitch you will be fine.

Would definitely visit again.

The pool is closed for maintenance on Wednesdays

We stayed a week and extended our trip by a day because we were having such fun. We were able to pitch our tent right by the cliff edge with spectacular views of Cardigan Bay.

Although lots of people were coming and going at no point were people placed in the pitch next to us and so we had lots of space and had no worries about noise. The site is great, the kids can run round, use the playground and go to the social room without bothering anyone as there's lots of land.

The pool is clean and warm, even in the rain, and this was one of my holiday highlights. The shower facilities are immaculately kept and the staff very helpful.

I would definitely recommend this campsite to couples, families and groups alike. It is reasonably priced and easy to travel to wonderful places like Ynyslas dunes, Aberaeron etc. Or if you don't feel like driving anywhere you can walk down to the rocky beach at the bottom of the site or take the 3 mile coastal walk into Aberystwyth.

This site is on the cliff edge so naturally is exposed to the elements, but we had quite changeable weather with quite high winds, but our tent was fine, and I can certainly cope with a bit of wind in exchange for waking up to Morfa Bychan's beautiful views.

Great site, very clean and tidy with lovely sea views. Pitches are a good size, we have a very large 6 man dome tent and there was plenty of room for trailer, car etc. Good playground, central in touring area so easy to keep an eye on the kids, and plenty of room for them to run around without getting in anyones way.

The outdoor pool is warm so able to use most days. Toilets and showers are some of the cleanest and warmest I have ever used. Washing up stands are inside, warm and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The beach is rocky but great for exploring and rock pooling. The site is down a long narrow lane and can be alittle on the windy side, but a few windbreaks help. Aberystwyth is nearby to cater for all your shopping needs. A great base to explore this part of wales or to just sit back and relax, well worth a visit.

Went here for 2 nights, Very nice site, excellent views and clean facilities.Staff are friendly and helpful.

Pitch size was generous although we were on a bit of a slope, however we managed. Nice play area which was well positioned to be able to see your children.

Washing up area was good and they provided paper towels (good job as we had forgot our teatowel). They have a nice clean/warm swimming pool which we used albeit in between rain showers. We had bad luck on this particular weekend (obviously not sites fault) with the weather and ended up only staying 1 night, be warned it can get very windy and there is not much shelter due to position of site.

All in all if the weather is on your side it is a lovely place to camp.
