We stayed here for nearly a week and loved the site, although the last part of the access road is narrow with few passing places. The very helpful and friendly staff showed us to our large level hard standing pitch which had a fabulous view out to sea from the top of the otherwise grassy site.
Toilets and showers were cleaned twice daily and spotless, as were washing up and laundry areas.
Lots of children as it was school holidays, but they had a lovely adventure play area and swimming pool, so were well occupied and having a great time. Most nights we sat outside having dinner and watching the sunset, with only one visit from the wind which we had been warned about. One of the best sites ever!

Spent 2 days here in July 2012. Great views of the sea and country from all angles. The staff were always on hand and willing to help any time day and they are very friendly and welcoming.
The site is well maintained, very clean and very tidy. The only thing that lets the pitches down is the slight slope, however the staff guided you to your pitch and help in ensuring that you know where everything is.
We are planning on going back again later in the year and would highly recommend it to any one.

A huge amount of thought and effort has gone into creating a very neat, clean, well laid out site. The heated pool was beautiful.
The staff were helpful, except when I expressed surprise and some annoyance at the limited food supplies in the shop and was told: but it's all on our website!
Shop for basic provisions it said, there was no barbecue food, nothing you could use to put a proper meal together. It just wasn't big enough for the site. I also resented being told, oh, you can get a takeaway! We did, we had to as we had a campervan and didn't want to drive back up a single track road into town when we had already settled down. We don't like junk food, neither do we wish to spend money on junk food. We can't actually eat Pizza or Chinese for health reasons, the curry was ok but we wanted our own food, that's why we've got a Camper!
The beach was very disappointing indeed, nasty black slate, we could not sit on it and sunbath and if I had children with me I'd have left.

Stayed here with my brand new tent on the August bank holiday weekend by myself.
On arrival, the site staff were extremely helpful showing me to my pitch and helped me put my tent up as I was on my own and it was windy.
The view is utterly fantastic if you like a sea view but of course with the exposure to the coast, it can get a bit of a strong wind so need a good strong tent.
There is a block with sinks, launderette, toilets and showers in which is super clean and well maintained. The shower cubicles were big with powerful warm showers. There was also a hair dryer available in the block for use.
There is a nice games room with amusements, fruit machines, pool table and TV.
There is a shop which is well stocked and the staff are very friendly.
There is beach access but it is a very rocky and stoney beach so don't expect to sunbathe on sand or take your dinghy out here! Perfect for exploring rockpools though.
My only gripe with this site are the rules. I think some of the rules are a little over the top and unnecessary and can feel a little militaryesque but it did not spoil my holiday.
I would definitely go back and would highly recommend this site. Just watch the rules though!
8 out of 10 for me, only dropping the 2 points for the beach and the rules.

Stayed here August Bank Holiday weekend and was very impressed with this site.
We had an EHU pitch which was very generous in size and we overlooked the sea which was amazing.
The facilities were immaculate at all times, you get issued a key on check in, there is a disabled toilet that is not locked just in case you forget the key. The showers were hot, fine for adults but a little too hot for young kids with no way of turning them down.
The site is very windy as it is on a cliff top but the amazing view out weighs the wind.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Didn't use the pool as the weather was not warm enough to make us want to use it! Although it looked lovely.
Will definitely use this site again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Had a great week at Morfa, in my Royal Bordeaux 6. A little gem of a site along a proper winding country lane, unless you know it's there you would never come across it, which makes it very child friendly.
The tent pitches are at the low point of a slightly more than gentle slope, but it does help to drain the field, which, is kept mown very short, impressive for such a large field.
You are right on the edge, aside from the dog walk area, of the cliff down to the beach, which does of course mean there is a prevailing wind from the sea (more of that later), but the cliff does seem to be a 'buffer', sending the wind up and over the tents.
The beach is a two minute walk down some steps, which is pebbly for the most part, but quieter for it, so some nice lonely walks with the dog were enjoyed. The Ceridigion coastal path runs through the top of the site, so plenty of opportunity for lengthy walks.
The facilities are top notch, very clean, with plenty of toilets and free, hot, showers.
There is a small adventure playground in the middle of the camping field, so the kids can be supervised from the comfort of your canopy/awning.
The heated outdoor pool got a thumbs up from my two kids, even warm enough in overcast weather.
The reception area has a few essential groceries, but you have to travel in to Aberystwyth for a more serious shopping experience (read, alcohol!).
The nearest pub is in Aber as well, so make sure you stock up before you go, as there is no clubhouse, (I'm informed it burned down a few years ago but was never replaced).
Now, back to the wind. On Saturday morning the wind was really strong and pulled the peg from my canopy, ripping the zip that joins it to the tent and then the pole came over the top of the tent, ripping holes in the roof and annex as it was flapping about. Basically a write off! Not the sites fault, it was mine for not using a rock peg, which I had used everywhere else, but only the standard cheap wire pegs that come with tents on the canopy, a cost saving exercise by manufacturers I think. So a word of advice, use stronger pegs on vital points of the tent, like canopies and corners.
I would definitely recommend this site, and would use it again, albeit with extra rock pegs.

We booked the caravan site last minute for the August bank holiday weekend. Fairly easy site to find, well sign posted off the main coast road. However you do have to negotiate about 1. 5 mile strech of narrow country lane with very few passing places.
This is a small price to pay for the spectacular views your faced with when you reach the site.
All the staff members we met were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Pitches are slightly sloping. Site staff on hand to help level the unit.
The washrooms are kept locked, however keys are provided. The washrooms were immaculate, free showers and the use of a hairdryer.
The site has well kept grounds including an outdoor swimming pool. We did not use the pool so can't comment further.
Short walk to a rocky beach, kids had a fantastic time rock pooling for crabs and shrimps.
Small children's play area and games room which the kids loved.
No club house which is just the way we like it.
Small shop selling the basic requirements such as milk and chocs.
Only booked for the weekend, but we were so impressed by the site as a whole decided to pay up to the end of the season and also pitch there for the whole of next season. Probably one of the most friendliest site with exceptionally helpful staff we have stayed on in the last 10 years.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a good quality fairly quiet site with outstanding views of the coast.

The best site I have stayed on in 10 years of camping. Absolutely breathtaking views, excellent customer service, immaculate toilets.
We stayed in a tent with EHU, slightly sloping pitch but nothing to worry about. We holidayed with friends and none of us could find anything to complain about.
Childrens play area is positioned so as it can be seen from all over the site, which means you don't have to be with the kid's while they are playing, but can let them enjoy a bit of freedom and watch from the comfort of your chair.
We will be returning next year, which I think is the biggest compliment you can pay to any site.

Our 1 night stay was great. Beautiful sea views, friendly staff, site is so big that even if they had so many visitors on it I felt there was a lot of space.
Very clean toilet/shower blocks. Friendly site for dogs. Special area assigned for dogs needs and you can let them off the leash. Very, very quiet.
Only one dawn side for myself is children play area in the middle of the side. I know its great for parents but for me it was to loud during the day and I was there to listen to the sea not shouting and swearing children.
But I would definitely stay back there.

What more can I say - absolutely beautiful views, the narrow lane is worth it for the views alone. We were on a level hardstanding, toilets/showers very close.
Given a key to toilets/showers, excellent idea, as it stops all and sundry using the toilets. On a coastal path 'anyone' walking through would be denied access.
Toilets were very clean, one cubicle was a family room, changing pad, shower, toilet and wash basin, plenty of room for family.
Site kept well mown, clean and tidy, excellent play area and heated swimming pool. Although no one about when we were there very quiet,
Staff very helpful, wish I had their job. 'no rush', 'no stress', no getting up each morning at 4. 45 am, 'no motorways', how wonderful, think I could handle that.
