A little gem as near to the Snowdonia National Park without being actually in it. Nice little town with pubs and eateries plus excellent transport hub for north Wales. This site has won Wales in bloom a number of times, facing the hills and mountains of the Snowdonia range and is 4 miles from Betwys Y Coed. Best not approach via the 13 century village bridge as it is not known as the ' swearing Bridge' for nothing.

We stayed at the site over spring bank week and really enjoyed our holiday. The park is lovely and well maintained, it is only our second holiday with our caravan and we were made to feel very welcome. The site is situated close to local amenities and has excellent walks nearby or a few miles drive away. The toilet facilities are small but clean. We will stay here again in the future and would highly recommend it.

We have just returned from a lovely few days at this campsite. The grounds are lovely, well maintained & some great little touches. The amenities are clean & the showers are free which is always good when you are in a tent. It is a small campsite & everyone is friendly, the owners & staff we saw were friendly & very helpful. The main gate is locked after 11pm which we thought was excellent as you didn't have people coming back to the site late at night & a policy of no noise after 10. 30pm was adhered to very well. I also liked that there was a playing field for kids & a rule that there should be no playing round the tents/caravans which is a nice touch & again mostly adhered to. Off site the local village has the shops & pubs that you would expect & is a 10 minute walk from the site, there is a lovely walk by the riverside. Very reasonable priced & we shall certainly be returning to this site.

We stayed at Bodnant Caravan park over the Spring bank holiday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the site is beautiful, quiet and well situated for local amenities. We would definitely return, the only criticism we would have is the toilet facilities, although clean they were too small for the amount of people on the site.
We are new to this type of holiday and this is only our second holiday with our van but were pleased we booked the site and would recommend it highly.

Great site. Really pleasant owner
We had a fully serviced pitch which all worked well. Plenty of space between units but the site was not full.
Excellent recycling and clean facilities but we used our own.
Great cycling and a good base for Snowdonia. Walking distance to Llanrwst

Just back from a wonderful 4 night stay at Bodnant Caravan Park. It is so lovely and well kept. The toilet blocks were very clean and tidy as well as the whole site streaming with flowers. The adjoining area was good for walks specially with dogs, who was welcome on site. I would definitely come again

Booked here on advice of my father who some years back booked one of their 2 statics. Site is lovely. So well maintained. Lovely flowers and grassed areas. You check on at the owners house where they have a small room/ office to one side. As others have said the toilet block is a tad small for the amount of caravans. Camper vans and tent. But hey ho I have my own on my van. Hook ups have water connections and tv Ariel. Also drainage so no need used your waste water butt. What's there to do in Llanrwst. Well not a lot. It is no betws y coed. Such a Shame. It could be nice. My grandad took me here in the 60s. The pen y bont pub which I was so looking forward to having a pint in is closed. The victim of many pub closures. Why the village is like that when betws y coed does so well and its only 4 miles away I don't know. But I would recommend Bodnant.

We eneded up here by chance after the site we were originally booked on for a week was a bit of a disappointment and we decided to move on. This is a lovely little site, very well kept and very nice people. The only niggle was the showers which are in need of updating. A basin in the cubicles and a door rather than a curtain would go a long way to putting this right. As the site was very very quiet when we were there I used the Ladies / Disabled facility which was luxurious and gleaming new! The site is well positioned for trips into the GWydyr Forest with lots of trails, Betwsy COed for shops and river walks, Conwy and Llandudno and also doable in a day for Snowdonia and Anglesey. The village had a few pubs but the best was the New Inn which was very friendly. Dogs are allowed in all the pubs and also the back bar of The Eagles hotel which does bar meals. There is a Spar supermarket and also a larger co-op round the back off the high street.

We've just spent 4 glorious nights at the lovely Bodnant site.
It was a real joy to drive in and see such a well tended and laid out site. Once we'd located the reception we set up in a corner and were soon enjoying our lunch with expansive views in all directions.
The facilities are slightly dated as people have mentioned but were spotlessly clean. We do though, reckon that the terrazzo tiles in the shower area are the coldest things we've ever stepped on!
We cycled many miles over the 4 days and popped into the local Coop on a couple of occasions. I can also thoroughly recommend the local bike shop '1868 racing' as we had a bit of a mechanical issue that I couldn't sort out and the chap in there fitted us in and did a brilliant job.
We also finally managed to visit Gwydir castle (just over the river bridge) and were amazed by how old the place really is. Definitely worth a visit.

We have stayed here several times over the last 4 years. The site is in a wonderful location and extremely pretty and relaxing but only a short stroll into the market town of Llanrwst which offers excellent facilities of shops, pubs, eating places and coffee shops. The site is exceptionally clean, tidy and well maintained, as a small working farm it's very rural and this is reflected in the area. Main toilet block is a little dated (don't let this put you off) it's spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water etc. The owners work exceptionally hard to make you feel welcome and are always busy around the site attending to the wonderful flower beds, hanging baskets and keeping the grass short. Great site and highly recommended.
