We have just returned from Bodnant having stayed there for two weeks. We had a wonderful stay very clean and tidy. The shower block not the most up to date but very adequate.
My husband is disabled and he did not encounter any problems,Our son daughter and family camped at the same time as us. The grand children loved it plenty of space to play and they loved the hens sheep and ducks but most of all the resident turkeys known to the children as 'gobble gobble'.
The flowers are out of this world the owners work very hard and the displays show this, well done to you both and for your hospitality.North wales is an amazing place and Bodnant is on the door step of so many.
Watch out for the buzzards and red kites the are truly wonderful to watch. We will be back Thank you for a great holiday.

Got back yesterday from another fab weekend at this lovely, lovely site. 10 mins walk into the village.
Although there is lots of noise from the cockerel early in the morning (but you get used to it, honest), this is such a peaceful and tranquil site in the day and after about 10:30 at night very quiet. (Seems like the 2 dogs must have their own language with the hens, chicks, various other livestock that they shouldn't make a noise either! - you may not believe it until you see for yourself, but it's so true)
The surroundings of the site are heaven and everything is so clean and spotless you couldn't ask for more.
Owners very friendly and approachable and price is really a bargain compared to some.
This campsite is my absolute favourite for a weekend - hope anyone who goes enjoys it as much as we do.

We don`t normally use `commercial` sites as they invariably prove to be a huge disappointment, much preferring the standards of Caravan Club sites. However, the pictures on the website for Bodnant looked a little too good to be true so we thought we`d risk it.
Yes, its only ten minutes walk from the town (village?), but once on site you could be in the middle of nowhere (we didn`t have a problem with any road noise, but I can understand that the insulating properties of a tent will be somewhat less effective). The site entrance is quite narrow but hardly a problem, and once through the gates its like being in someones front garden. Loads of floral displays (even in September), good quality grass (well kept) and decent size pitches (grass and hardstanding). The pitches also have hook-ups for electric, TV, water and waste, so the fact that are only three showers for each sex was never a problem as we just used the van facilities. The toilet block, although dated, was spotlessly clean - which is surely more relevent than its decor.
Although the area for caravans appears to slope, on both pitches we pulled onto it was level - easy to pitch and good for motorhomes.
The dog walk is small, but adequate, and the general ambience of the place is really first class. The main gate was closed at dusk, locked at 11.00pm and re-opened at 8.00am so security was good also.
The town has everything you need food-wise, and a couple of reasonable pubs as well, but the site is well placed for Snowden, Harlech, Beddgelert (worth a look, and has a brilliant ice-cream parlour),Conwy etc, and Betws-y-Coed is only three miles away.
To be honest, there really was little to fault the place for, and they also have two modern statics at the side of the tourer field for rent which are spotlessly clean and very reasonably priced for anyone with friends or family without their own accomodation.
The only downside we found was at the National Trust site at Bodnant Gardens up the road, where unusually dogs weren`t allowed in the gardens - their loss, there is lots of other things to do locally.
We look forward to going again next year, they were offering a discount of 15% off pitch fees after September 7th this year, so it may be worth checking to see if there are any other to be had.
Highly recommended.

Having arrived just as it went dark on a Friday night, we ended pitching on a nice muddy spot. Not that you could avoid the mud entirely - a fellow camper said it had rained almost non-stop for the past week. It was also the end of the school holidays, so no doubt the grass has seen plenty of tents, tyres and feet over the summer months. All that said, the ground did seem to drain very well and by Saturday afternoon the “squelch” had pretty much disappeared.
General upkeep of the site is excellent, with plenty of tubs and baskets of flowers providing lovely colour. I don’t think it’s mentioned on the website but the last check-in is 9pm so worth noting if you’re travelling after a day at work.
The tent area was about 50% full, so no problems with pitch space or having to queue for facilities. I could imagine that if both the tents and caravans were busier you might have to queue though, as we counted 3 showers each for ladies & gents. There was plenty of hot water for the showers and washing-up sinks during our stay. All the facilities were very clean and tidy.
There is some traffic noise from the A470 which is about 100m away. It didn’t keep us awake at night but a very light sleeper might want somewhere more isolated / sheltered. The assortment of chickens, ducks, turkeys and other animals in the field provide some light day-time entertainment. The chickens don’t seem fazed by campers – we had one checking out our porch area for tit-bits. Thankfully, there was no silly AM alarm call from the cockerel during our visit!
Llanrwst is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. As mentioned in other reviews, the chippie in the village is very good. They were cleaning up for closing around 9.30pm but if you’re later there are other food options in the village which looked to stay open later.

My husband and I visited here in July and were not disappointed.
Very, very pretty site with lots of wonderful wheelbarrows full of beautiful flowers around the site.
Not a big site, which suits us, but is quiet and very convenient for walking into the village.
We paid for a fully serviced, hard standing pitch - well worth the money. Makes a refreshing change to not be told which way to face your van!
Toilet block is fine too.
The village has 7 pubs, most doing food, a little supermarket, cash point etc.
Would definitely go back!

We have just returned from a week at Bodnant, the site was beautiful, full of flowers, well kept grass areas, regularly cut, the hardstanding pitch we had was well sized, and not too close to the next one.
The only downside to the site is the toilet block and showers. There are only 2 showers in both the mens and the womens, which were a bit on the small side with curtains and not doors.
There were also only 2 toilets in the mens block.
Would recommend the site to anyone considering going that way.

This is the first site we had visited in our caravan(always camped previously) We were given a corner plot that was ideal for the view of the mountains, the plot was quite big, lots of room for our awning. A large tree was between us and the next caravan, this made it quite a private plot. The whole site is completely flat with a separate area for tents and a separate rally field. The gardens are a credit to the owner, absolutely beautiful! Washrooms and toilets are spotless. The only negative point for us was that the dog exercise area was tiny and there was nowhere in the local area to let our dog have a run(we have a 6 month old pup that is used to lots of daily exercise and space to run around in, so this is something to consider if you take a dog)The site is within walking distance to the village with plenty shops and a supermarket. It is also conveniently situated for the coast. A beautiful site but wouldn't visit again due to the lack of exercise space for our dog.

We decided to visited the site after reading the 100% positive reviews that had been written previously and were obviously looking foward to our 7 day visit in July . Unfortunately my partner did not find the site as wonderful as mentioned , for the following reasons. 1)far to noisy. 2)to cramped ( especially in the tent section) 3) showers , (not enough) 4)noisy road nearby 5). It was one of the busiest times of year so obviously lots of people about , but should have been better monitored by the owner ( re tent spacings ). On a positive note ,the surrounding area is lovely and the amenities were kept very clean and the site drained very well when we had the regular heavy showers of this summer !

Fantastic site. Beautifully maintained and well spread out pitches. Toilet/shower facilities are great with fully stocked toilet roll dispensers at all times.
Only stayed 1 night but would definitely use this site again.
Llanrwst is a lovely little town and there are some gorgeous walks in the surrounding area. Recommend the fish and chip shop in the village.
Excellent site and excellent location.

Fantastic site. Well looked after, beautiful flower beds/containers. Plenty room on pitches. Peaceful site. Beautiful views of mountains.
Only gripe is the toilet block, although extremely clean could do with an update and larger shower cubicles. Disabled one was much better. Watch your van when driving in and out of entrance - slightly tight entrance, but do-able (our van is 23' inc A frame) we did it with a little care.
Village of Llanrwst 10mins walk away and is very pretty. Lovely river walk and great park, plus Betws-y-coed just 3 miles away.
Will be going back!
